“Supaab Borut Satan” has not aired and it’s already causing a buzz. Siamdara newspaper is betting that ‘Supaab Bortu Satan’ will become a ratings champion because it causing quite a stir with those saucy promotional pictures and it has a producer who understands how to cater to the market.
I agree with Siamdara. There is no doubt in my mind that “Supaab Borut Satan” will be a ratings champion because Thai people love their revenge/slap&kiss lakorns. The problem lies– will it be good plot wise? I’ve read the summary for this lakorn and it is a very typical plot for a revenge lakorn. Pra’ek vows revenge on his mother who left him and his father as a child for another man. Of course, his father passes away and the main character grows up to be a bitter man. Big shocker guys, nang’ek happens to be the daughter of man his mother left his father for. OH NO! WOW, where have I read or seen that before->in nearly 90% of all revenge lakorns.
Shrugs, typical, I’ll still watch it.
“Supaab Borut Satan” starring Pinky Savika and Aof Chanapol will air on August 1, 2008 replacing “Khun Noo Tevada” for the weekend time slot.
