In case you haven’t been stalking Wishbone’s blog for cast info and plot line for “Botun Greep Sood Tai (“The last Peony petal”)”, it has been released. I guess this means Wishbone will be subbing this series.
“Botun Greep Sood Tai” will air on September 22, 2008, taking up the Monday-Tuesday time slot and replacing Por and Paul’s lakorn, “Ruk Son Kaen”.
I like the plot, Aum plays Theeradej or Ah-Joo, a young novelist researching for his new book about a Thai-Chinese family with 3 daughters. Tanyong, played by Aff, is part of that type of family dynamic. She is the youngest of 3 sisters and her family owns a Opera House. Ah-Joo takes a job at the Opera House to investigate more about Tanyong’s family for his new novel. Tanyong suspects something strange about Ah-Joo and gives him a hard time because she believes he is a spy from a rival Opera House. Cute.

I did watch the 1st episode of “Soo Saeng Tawan” and I don’t know what to make of it. The way they were dressing I felt like I was watching Don Johnson’s Miami Vice. Am I the only one? Did you guys get a 1980s vibe from this lakorn?
What I’m sure about is the theme song. I like it. It’s “Rang Ror (Wait) by the Silly Fools. The song is about a guy who is dating a woman who can’t forget about her ex. He feels tormented because the only reason they are together is because she wants someone to lean on. The guy’s girlfriend can’t seem to move on and still waits for her ex.
