Instant Replay: Be Peerapat’s “Poot Trong Trong”

Be Peerapat-Poot Trong Trong (Honestly speaking) from his 2008 album “Dedicated to Love”.

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

I discovered this artist and this song a few weeks ago. It’s something different from what I usually listen too. I like it. The genre is Thai Soul/R&B/Pop.

The song is about a man, who is still pining over his ex-girlfriend. She is in a better relationship and he is glad that she is happy but at the same time, he can’t help his feelings. He still loves her.

By the way, what do you guys think of Be Peerapat’s album cover? Poorly done? I keep noticing his arm and how it’s completely separated from his body. It bugs me.

Music, thumbs up. Album cover, thumbs down.

–This MV gets weird near the end. I don’t understand why they did that, it just makes it look creepy.

Coming Soon: Sapai Look Tung

In case you didn’t know, “Sapai Look Tung (Country Daughter-in-Law)” starring Mart Krissada and Janie Tienposuwan is airing on September 18, a Thursday. It will be replacing “Sufun Nirandorn (To dream forever)” for the Wed-Thurs time slot for Ch3.

It’s a romance comedy about Atiya also goes by Atee (nickname), a man who falls in love with his gay brother’s sister-in-law from the country, Mui.

Atiya is played by Mart and Mui is played by Janie.

City slicker Atiya falls for Mui because she is unlike anyone he has ever met. She is brassy, strong-willed, and full of life. She is not materialistic compared to women he meets in the city.

Atiya convinces Mui to marry him even though his mother disapproves. Atiya marries Mui for love, while she marries him out of spite for all the people who talked about her, saying she was a country girl gold-digger. Atiya and Mui have a platonic marriage. As time goes by, Mui begins to develop feelings for Atiya.

In their marriage, Mui and Atiya will have to endure through his mother’s constant pestering and his gay brother’s crazy antics.
