Gun finally did right by Baan.
It’s a proud moment when a stupid pra’ek wises up! Finally, Finally, Mr.Bushy Brow pra’ek did right!
Apsorn is still in a state of shock and she can’t believe that history is repeating itself:
Apsorn: “I probably committed some horrible sin and that’s why I have to encounter something like this again. When I look at Baan, I see myself and know the future she will have to endure. Gun? What is he going to do about his child? Will he not accept responsibility like the person from my past?”
Bancha:“My goodness Apsorn, you don’t have to think that far! Right now, you need to decide how you are going to tell Gun. It’s a very important issue, a big issue. An issue that could change Gun’s future completely.”
Apsorn:“What do you want me to do?”
Bancha playing devil’s advocate:“Gun is engage to Nae and the whole country knows it, if Gun takes responsibility for Baan, the public will believe that Gun abandoned Nae because he got another woman pregnant. If Gun takes responsibility for Baan, for reals, he has to give up everything in his life, which includes his fame and reputation.”
Apsorn:“Isn’t there another choice?”
Bancha:“Yes, you don’t tell Gun.”
Apsorn looks away: “No, No, I can’t do that. I refuse to let Baan carry and raise her child alone. Just like Gun!”
Bancha shouting:“So you want people to look down at Gun for the rest of his life?”
Apsorn shouts back:”Then, you want Gun, to not take responsibility just like the way you did?
Bancha tries to defend himself:”It’s not like that, I know what’s it like. It’s not an easy issue. Right now, Gun has two blank choices. If you choices one, he will lose the other. You need to think hard before you tell him.”
–Bancha raises a good question, if you were Gun, would you choose fame or family?
The media is going ga ga over Nae Dao and Gun’s engagement, Oum takes notice.
Oum tells his manager/lover that he wants to work with Nae Dao real soon. Oum, now sees Nae Dao as his new transportation to fame and plans to seduce her.
Oum is a douche, but he is the douche that is gonna bring Nae Dao down, so I heart him for now.
Poor Baanster! She was weeping when she saw Gun and Nae Dao’s engagement on the tellie.
Apsorn watches Baan from a distance. Apsorn knows how it is, she did that with Bancha.
Are they dumb? Nae Dao and Manager Bie head off to the temple to do “boon (Buddhist merits)” so that they can erase the sin that they have committed.They thought they killed Baan’s baby.
Umm….okay.
–They planned and intentionally tried to kill Baan’s baby and they think by doing buddhist merits for a day, it will wipe their sins away and make them A-okay with God or Gods. Sorry ladies, it doesn’t work like that.
Haha. They get called out by Tee.
Tee:“You killed someone and now you’re doing merits….do you really think it’s going to wash and erase your sin?”
Tee continues:“do you think that what you did will not catch my sight, I know everything.”
Haha. They fell in the water and two VERY young paparazzi wannabes took snaps at them. LOL.
Tee pinches the Baan scandal to the press but they refuse to listen to him because he has no proof.
Sucks to be Tee, he’s telling the truth but no one listens to him.
Gun visits his mother’s house and he bumps into servant lady Som Jai.
Som Jai informs Gun that his mother has something important to discuss with him.
Gun is startled and worried.
—Oooo! someone is going to get it.
Gun finds his mother seating down on a chair, crying, and looking at a portrait of herself with Gun.
He knelt down in front of her, “Mom, what happened to you?”
And, she gives him a good smack on the arm! She stands up and continues smacking him. LOL, good times!
“Why!!!?? Why did you turn out like this? You’re an advantageous person! A selfish person! Do you know what you have done?” She lectures and questions.
Gun is dumbfounded by his mother’s reaction. “Mom, what are you talking about?”
Gun’s mother stops beating him and shouts, “I know what happened between you and Baan! The time that she never came home, she was at your house. I know the truth from Baan. You and Baan did something together, right?!!!
Apsorn continuously smacks her son and repeats,”Did you? !! Did you!!??”
Gun grabs his mother hands to restrain her and he pulls her in for a hug.
Gun hugs his mother tightly and apologizes about Baan.
“I didn’t mean it, MOM! I didn’t mean it.” He maintains.
Apsorn just stares at Gun and cries. Gun takes his mother hands and admits the truth, “I was drunk that night, mom.”
Apsorn was not too happy with that answer and she repeats, “That’s all you can say?”
Baan listens in on their conversation.
Apsorn can’t face her son anymore and tries to walk away.
Gun holds her back and pleads for forgiveness:“Mom, I’m sorry, I was wrong. You can yell, beat me, anything, I will accept it.”
Apsorn pulls away and snidely replied, “It will be pointless. What Baan lost will never be retrievable. Do you know what Baan will have face now? (Smacks Gun in the arm) Do you know!!??”
Gun still clueless, “What happened to Baan, mom? What’s wrong with her? “
Apsorn looks away because her son is a dumb ass.
She turns to face him again and asked, “Gun, can mom ask you something? If one day, you’re not a star, did not have fame, no one knows you or idolize you, can you live like that?”
Again Gun is still clueless, “Mom, what are you talking about?”
Apsorn: “I want you to choose between fame and your family? What will you choose?”
Gun doesn’t know how to answer his mother and looks at her blankly.
He shakes his head and finally comes out with, “Mom, I’m so confuse. What are you talking about? Well, since I love you, MOM! I’ll choose you.”
Apsorn looks at Gun disapprovingly and shakes her head negatively. She cries and Gun receives a phone call from a magazine editor.
He takes the call and moves away from his mother. Gun acts jubilant on the phone and Apsorn listens in.
Gun on the phone:“Hello! How are you, Pee (Brother). I was just about to call you. Yes. Yes. Oh, it’s the magazine’s 10th year anniversary. I’ll definitely go. P’Pae confirmed it. Yes. Yes. Oh, the thing with the wedding, we’re still looking for a place. After the wedding, we will probably go on a honeymoon. Yes. Yes. (Chuckles). Oh, people are just probably joking around, me and Nae Dao are still in love. Yes. Yes. Thank you so much P’Pleum. I’ll tell Nae too. Yes. Yes. Good-bye now.”
Kinda sad, Baan was listening in on the conversation too. When she heard him say, “Me and Nae are still together “, she walked over to her bed, sat down, and wept.
After the phone conversation, Gun walks to his mother to continue with their conversation.
“Mom, earlier you said you wanted me to choose what?”
Apsorn turns to him, “Don’t worry about it son, I have guess what you will choose.”
Apsorn is about to walk away and Gun stalls her by asking, “Now, what about Baan? What happened to her her?”
Apsorn answer him, “She is just disappointed but now there is nothing wrong with her.”
Gun stalls her again, “Mom, is that really it?”
Apsorn’s response:“My child, just go back to the work that you love.”–OUCH!
Apsorn walks upstairs and Gun watches her dumbfounded. He is in shock. He doesn’t know what just happened between him and his mother. He lets out a tear in distress.
GREAT moment, I gotta say!
Baan thanks Apsorn for not telling Gun about the baby.
Apsorn:“Baan, are you sure you want to do it like this? Do you what a woman who brings up a child alone must face?”
Baan nods “Yes” and tells Apsorn, “I know it will be difficult but I want to endure the difficulties on my own. I want to do it alone, please.”
And, they hugged.
Baan continues:“this child is mine. I must deliver it, I must take care of to the best of my abilities.”
And the DOOR swings open and on the other side is GUN! Dude, do you know how many times I replayed this part. It’s a classic LAKORN moment!!!!!!! I almost screamed when I saw this part because I thought they were going to prolong the baby secret from Gun.
Gun steadily walks toward Baan and asked, “Baan are you really pregnant?”
She doesn’t answer him.
He continues his probing with, “Who are you pregnant by?“—Dude, I wanted to scream out by “YOU” mofo!!!!!
He grabs her arm and shakes her and shouts, “I asked you, who are you pregnant by?”
Again, she doesn’t answer him.
He shakes her again and repeats, “Who are you pregnant by?”
Now Gun becomes little bit more violent and grabs Baan by both hands and shakes her.–Dude, she is pregnant, stop shaking her!!!!
Apsorn tries to pull Gun off of Baan and tells him, “Gun, please don’t hurt Nong (meaning: younger sibling), I think you need to leave now.”
Gun flared at his mother, “MOM, I’m not leaving until I find out who is the father of this child in her stomach.”
Gun goes back to shake Baan to get the “truth’ out her.
His mother pulls him off of Baan and angrily asked, “Why do you need to know? What right do you have? What right to you have of Baan’s body? Get out, right now! I told you to get out.”
His mother pulls him to the entrance of the room but instead of leaving, he runs back to Baan to shake her again.
“Tell me right now! Who are you pregnant by?” Gun shouts at Baan.—Dude, chill out! BY YOu! Dur!
Apsorn can’t take it anymore and shouts out, “She is pregnant by YOU! Did you hear? She is pregnant by you!”
OH I love the stunned look on Gun’s face. Deer caught in the highlights!
The truth comes out and Baan cries. Gun looks at his mother and wants her to reconfirm,”What did you say mom?”
Apsorn: “Didn’t you hear me clearly? The child in Baan’s stomach is yours. Didn’t you hear me!”
After that, Apsorn quickly left the room, leaving Baan and Gun alone.
Gun faces Baan, he gently takes both her hands, and apologizes several time. Then out the blue, he pulls her in for a tender hug.
He hugs her and repeatedly apologizes to her.
Baan wasn’t having it and pushed him away.
“You don’t need to fuss about me, you don’t need to feel guilt either. You don’t have to feel anything.”
She tries to walk away and he grabs her arm to stop her.
“How can I do that when the child in your stomach is mine?” Gun argues.—What a man! Dude, I got goosebumps when he said that!! Raise your hands if you did also! WOW. OH. WOW.
Lame! And this is what Baan said in returned, “What’s the point of that? You’re engaged to Nae Dao now. The child in my stomach was created because of a mistake. You never wanted it to be born. You only…”
Before she could finish, he spontaneously hugged her to shut her up. LOL. Good move Gun. I totally support that.
Gun:“Don’t say anymore, the child in your stomach is mine. I’m the father! I have to take care of it, Baan!”
Dude! Another goosebump moment.
–this is better than Sawan Biang’s baby moment.
Awww…Gun walks downstairs and hugs his mother.
“I’m sorry, mom.” He whispers to her.
“Don’t worry about Baan, my son. I’ll take care of her myself.” She whispers back.
Gun learns from his mother that Manager Bie never dropped Baan off at the house, Khun Bancha did.
Gun also learns from his mother that Manager Bie took Baan to an abortion clinic. He is stunned.
His mother advises him to go talk to Bancha because he was the one who rescued Baan and knows more about it.
Gun goes to Bancha’s house and Bancha tells him everything he knows.
Gun asked Bancha what he would do in this situation.
Bancha answers:“I can’t do that. In that past, I chose the wrong choice.”
Gun probes Bancha on what choice but Bancha doesn’t answer him.
Bancha:”It doesn’t matter. It was years ago. Right now, we need to be concern about you. So what are you going to do to Nae Dao, the woman who tried to killed your child?”
Showdown at Nae Dao’s condo!
Gun marches into Nae Dao’s condo and confronts her about the abortion attempt.
At first Nae Dao denies it but when she realizes that Gun knows the truth, she admits everything and claimed she did it for them.
Gun asked Nae Dao for a break up and Nae Dao threatens to call the media about it. Instead of saying they broke up amicably, she will tell the press that Baan, being pregnant with Gun’s baby, is the reason for the break up and it will pretty much ruin his career.
The episode ends with Gun debating whether to break up with Nae Dao or stay with her to save his fame.
I know what you mean, i couldn’t help but rewind at that part too. I loved it so much. I have to say though, from everything that happened to Baan while she was pregnant I’m surprised she didn’t get a miscarriage or something. But yeah, loved this episode.

Thanks Lynn…this espisode was pretty emotional! Yes, Gun is finally being a man. All along he was so in love with her but then couldn’t find any reasons to show it to her. Now that she’s preg with his baby he’s soften up to her. I hope he continues and dont fall for Nae Dao’s blackmail. But who knows…let’s see what next episode brings =)

argh!!! i am disgusted at Gun!! WHY?! just a few seconds ago…he was shaking Baan like crazy, demanding to know who’s the father of her baby…then a few seconds later… he finds out the truth and hugs her like he was deeply in love with her….*screams!!!!!
