Coming Soon: Jai Rao (Cracked Heart)
I briefly scan through the synopsis of “Jai Rao” last night and from what I can gather it is going to be one heck of an emotional roller coaster. We got nang’ek who is dying from a heart aliment [refer back to the title "Jai Rao (Cracked Heart)"] and pra’ek who doesn’t know the truth, so there are a lot of misunderstandings.
Eight years ago, they knew each other, they were lovers. He loved her passionately and then all of sudden she disappears from his life without a word. He was devastated and deeply hurt.
When she comes back into his life again, he is a known Superstar across Asia and the world. They meet again at an award show, she bypassed his fanclub, the barricade of journalists to congratulate him on his success. As all eyes are on them, then she faints and he carried her to safety. The media took it the wrong way and it caused a major stir. “Who is the mystery girl,” they questioned.
In order to set things right with the media and pra’ek, she gives herself to him for 1 year. For 1 year, she will work as his personal assistant to redeem herself as a good person in his eyes and to set things right with the media.
Pra’ek, Koravic or Vic ( Ken Theeradeth) torments nang’ek Chorlada or Aoey(Aff Taksaorn) because he is still angry that she left him all those years ago. He loves her still but doesn’t know how to show it. His heart is filled with rage.
I’ll translate the synopsis in full some time tomorrow. Tina will be translating the full- detailed synopsis at her blog.
“Jai Rao” is scheduled to air after “Sapai Look Tung” late October or maybe early November. There has been no confirmation. At the earliest, it will air on Oct 30.
Noteworthy co-stars include Vicky Sunisa Jett, “Nott” Vorarit FuengArom and Maurice Kay (black gay dude).
Nott plays Dr.Luk, Chorlada’s doctor and fiancee.
Maurice plays Vic’s manager, Pat.
Vicky plays Melanee, an actress who falls deeply for Vic (Ken), but will end up with Dr.Luk.
Dr.Luk and Melanee are side characters that will provide comic relief for the tragic love story of Chorlada and Vic.

In the pursuit of Aimee

It must be true because the press has been relentless since mid-summer when the news broke out that Ta Warit has been aggressively pursuing actress and former Miss Thailand Universe 2004, Aimee Morakot Kittisara.
They say he has been abandoning work to pursue and pester Aimee with phone calls and text messages. Ta denies everything.
Ta:
I’m not that stupid, I have not abandon task and work like they say. We’re just friends. Sometimes we see each other, it’s very normal. It’s not like I abandon work or anything like that.
On the rumors that he has been calling Aimee when she is aboard, he denies that also. He does admit they have gone out to eat together but only in the status of a friend.
Ta also hinted that he likes Aimee by saying he would be happy if they had an opportunity to do a lakorn together because he would see her more frequently. Of course, that is not going to happen any time soon because Ta is with Ch3 and Aimee has a contract with Ch7, I believe. She might not have a contract with Ch7 but she works solely for Ch7 at the moment.
Reporters asked Ta whether he sees his current situation similar to Aum Atichart, Ta does not think so. His homeboys actor Kade Tarnthup and Nam Rapeepat are both CH7 actors, so his relationship with Aimee is more like a buddy-buddy relationship because they hangout with the same crowd.
Ta Warit is currently starring in the on-air Ch3 lakorn “Botun Greep Sood Tai (The last Peony Petal)” with Aff and Aum, he plays Aff’s gay brother-in-law. Aimee plays the ghost in the weekend Ch7 lakorn, “Poot Mae Nam Kong (Spirit of the Mekong river)”

“Beam” Kawee Tanjararuk, solo artist and former member of the iconic Thai boyband D2B, is hospitalized for a severe case of influenza.
Beam was taken to the hospital late Monday night because his symptoms of severe headache and body aches did not subside since the morning.
Beam blames the lack of rest for his illness, he has been overworking himself with the preparation for his concert and also studying for his master degree. Album promotion, concert preparation, and studying for his master degree, where does he find the time?
For all the stalkers out there, he is staying at the Vibhavadi General Hospital in Bangkok, room 3614, floor 16 for the next few days. I can’t believe they easily disclose this information.
