Silamanee: Ep 6 Caps

The story has slowed a bit, overall still good.

A pantip forum member posted this pic and I have to agree Pharot’s mom does remind me of Gollum from the Lord of the Rings. They have the same obsessive tendency with shiny things, Gollum with the ring and Khun Ying Samerjai with silamanee.

The beginning of episode 6, I thought was very brutal.

Khun Ying Athiti made an effort to find Nam, she has been waiting for this moment for a long time. She longed to care for Nam, to be a mother to Nam just like she is with son Nope and stepdaughter Susie.

After several years apart, mother and daughter stood in front of each other. As Khun Ying Athiti slowly walked up to Nam, Nam slowly step back keeping the distance between them.

“Nam, what’s wrong?” Khun Ying Athiti cried.

Nam played dumb, “I think you are mistaken, who are you? Where have we meet before?’

—Wow, that was pretty cruel!

Khun Athiti:“Nam, how can you talk to me this way? I’m your mother. I’m Khun Ying Athiti!”

Nam still being head-strong:”I think you are mistaken. I don’t know you. Excuse me” And, she walks away leaving her mother to sob by herself.

When her mother leaves, Nam comes back and watches her walk away.

Nam‘s voice over as she watches her mother walk away:“NO! I will never forgive the person who has hated my father. There will never be a day when I forgive.”

Khun Ying Samerjai’s voice over:“Nam, why are you doing this to me? Have I extremely wronged you?”

As she is walking through the art gallery, Khun Ying Ssamerjai has a flashback of when she left her husband and Chiangrath.

That day she vowed she will never come back.

“I want everyone to know that I will leave here today! Leave and never come back.”

That day, she wanted to leave with Nam, but King Saengluang forbid it. Though she couldn’t leave with her daughter, she left anyways to gain her freedom.

Another brutal moment

It started with Pope telling Isaree that yes his mother was telling the truth. He does have a betrothed.

Isaree was stunned, she started sobbing as Pope apologizes to her.

“I’m truly sorry, I’m more than willing to take responsibility and compensate you.” –I know , a very strange answer. You have to consider that Pope is not the emotional type, he is technical. He is a doctor for golly sakes.

Isaree:“How can compensation for the act of love? How?”

During this time, Pharot and his mother were watching them.

Pharot seeing that his older brother’s happiness was at stake, he rushes over to them.

“Khun Isaree, you have to listen to me first.”

Pharot looks at his brother and asked,

“P’Pope, why are you doing this? This is not your responsibility.”

Pope:“I have decided Pharot. I have agreed with mother that I will repay her kindness this way. For that reason, I must take responsibility.”

Pharot pleads with his brother, “Pee, you don’t have to do this. (looks over at Isaree) Khun Isaree, this is all a misunderstanding. The engagement is not for P’Pope, it is for me. Please don’t misunderstand my older brother. He loves you very much and you must be able to be together. It’s me who must take the engagement responsibility.”

After hearing that, his mother who was standing next to him yells at him.

Pharot fights back:

“I will not stop! Mom, you have to decide between me or Silamanee. If you choose the silamanee, I will marry that girl and you will never see me again for the rest of your life.”

His mother is stunned and asked him:“How can you do this to your own mother?”

Pharot:“Mom, it is you who started it first my targeting Pope. Mom, I need an answer, Me or Silamanee?”

She falls silent, huffs, and walks away.

—-

Before leaving them in private, Pharot apologizes to them and hoped for their reconciliation.

“I’m truly sorry for causing you two such distress. Please reconcile. Khun Isaree, my older brother is a really good guy. And also, he loves you very much!”

Alone, Pope apologizes to Isaree.

“Khun Isaree, I’m sorry. (he kisses her hands). I love you.”

She smiles at him and falls into his arm. He hugs her. AWWW! Pope and Isaree are cute!

At a restaurant, Pharot meets up with good friend Sek to discuss his problem.

Pharot can’t believe it. He has a betrothed.

Pharot plans to return the silamanee to Chiangrath.

Sek asked him whether he wants to see the princess first before returning the silamanee.

Pharot maintains that he will not.

“Didn’t I tell you. When it comes to marriage, it is an important issue to me. If I was going to get married, I will only marry for love. I don’t care about traditions or obligations.”

Though Pharot has vowed to returned the Silamanee and not marry the princess, Khun Ying Samerjai still fears for her son’s safety. She fears that once Pharot goes to Chiangrath, they will keep him there.

“If Pharot falls into their hands, I will be a woman who has a daughter-in-law from a savage country. I can’t accept it. I will not allow it.” —God, this woman is such a pompous, xenophobic donkey. She only hates Nam because she is not Thai. She thinks that being Thai is better than a Chiangrathian, Laotian, Cambodian, or any other groups. God woman, get a hold of yourself!

Nam and Chalee scene.

Chalee gives Nam a flower, the most beautiful flower in the market too. Well, that’ s what he is claiming.

Nam tries to reject him again, but he wasn’t really listening.

Chalee confesses his love for Nam and gives her the flower.

All that she could do is look away and tell him, “It’s too fast for you to say that.”

She goes and seats on the bench and he follows her.

Chalee:”I don’t think it’s fast. Do you know that you are not like any other woman? You see value in the little things I do for you. I don’t care what the negative things people say about you. I will only believe that you are pure. Before I head off to work everyday, can I come and see you? Just to see you smile, it will give me enough encouragement to work everyday. ”

Nam tries to reject again, but she couldn’t do it.

Pharot goes and asked for the Silamanee from his mother.

“I will return this and end this crazy engagement.”

His mother makes up a lie to make him hesitate about returning the silamanee.

“The reason I have not contacted them back is not because I want to just keep the Silamanee. It is really because…I didn’t want to lose you.”

Pharot:“What are you talking about mom?”

“There are certain things that I have not told you yet. They have sent me a letter about the agreement. They want us to keep the agreement and not back down from it.”

Pharot:“How can they do that? With this type of issue, how can they coerce us?”

“I agree with you, but what can I say? Your father and them who made the agreement, but I knew nothing of it. I don’t know what is in the agreement and whether we can reject it.” –Liar, Liar pants on fire. Pharot’s mother is a conniving woman. I would never lie to my children like that.

Pharot:“There is no purpose in doing that. If I return this, everything will end. No one will lose anything.”

“That is right my child, everything should end. But you have to consider this, we don’t know anything about their country. Their customs are very odd. If you go and return this, it’s like you going into their territory. What if they make you marry her? What about me? That could mean I will lose you forever. I raised all my children…loved them dearly…I want all of my children to find happiness. As for you Pharot, if they coerce you, what will I do? Can you understand where I’m coming from?”

She fake hugs him. Man, Pharot’s mother dearest is one greedy woman.

When she is alone with her servant lady, Pharot’s mother vows that if what she said did not deter Pharot from going to Chiangrath, she has another way. She will never let Pharot go to Chiangrath. CRAZY!

It’s really awful to be Sid at this moment, the guy she secretly loves keeps talking about the girl he loves.

In this scene, Chalee thanked Sid for giving him advice about Nam. They are back together, according to him. We all know, Chalee and Nam’s relationship is one-sided, but don’t tell that to Chalee.

Look at Sid’s smile. She is very uncomfortable. She is dying inside, but can’t show it. Awww!! All that she could say is, “Oh that’s good. I’m glad you are happy.”

Sucks to be her.

Pharot feels unsure about his decision to return the Silamanee after what his mother told him. He decides to google search Chiangrath and look for a picture of the princess. He can not find any.

Saibordee in Chiangrath visiting his parents. They discuss the Silamanee issue and Nam. Saibordee fears for her well-being, he is not too comfortable with Nam being in close proximity to Pharot and Pharot asking Nam a lot of question about Silamanee. He fears that Pharot will find out that Nam and Saengfarng are the same person.

His father assures him that everything is fine because they have taken extra precaution in hiding Nam’s real identity. Her name, picture, or any personal information has not been release to any type of media.

Ahhh!!! A cute moment between Chalee and Susie! The almost kiss!

They are working on a work project together. He comes over to her and finds her cutting methods unacceptable. He just takes her hand and starts showing her how to cut paper. She gushes and watches him instead of playing attention to his instructions. He looks up at her and BAM! The almost kiss. AHAHAHAHAHAHh! TOO CUTE.

Feeling a little uncomfortable, he let her go and stepped back.

“I think you got.”

As he is leaving, she smiles with glee. He smiles too. HAHA.

Another cute scene of Susie and Chalee!

She fell asleep, he used his jacket to cover her.

Pharot employs Mae Liang’s help with his trip to Chiangrath.

Chiangrath is a very isolated country and he also wants to go there unnoticed by the Chiangrathian government, so Mae Liang will be a good tour guide for him. Well at least that’s what he thinks. HAHA, he doesn’t know he is dealing with the enemy.

Pharot makes up a little lie about wanting to see her fabric company in Chiangrath when in fact he just wanted to go to check out the “princess” and the Chiangrathian government.

Nam plans to get closer to Pharot during their trip to Chiangrath together. She knows what he is up too.

Nam plans to seduce Pharot until he gives her the Silamanee.

She is a very confident girl.

The previous night Pharot and Chalee got into another fight about Nam. Chalee told Pharot that he plans to marry Nam, which caused Pharot to be greatly concern because he knows that Nam doesn’t feel the same way about Chalee.

Pharot tracks Nam down at the campus. He warns Nam not to hurt his brother because if she does, she will have to deal with him.

That night, Nam calls her aunt to prepare for her arrival with Pharot.

At first her aunt is not too happy with the idea of Nam coming as Mae Liang and bringing Pharot with her.

Nam doesn’t tell her the truth that she plans to seduce Pharot while there. Nam assured her aunt that she is just doing this to get Silamanee back and it’s all innocent.

Her aunt finally agrees.

Her aunt, uncle, and cousin Saibordee discuss the issue. They think Nam is up to something and they are very concern.

Nam’s uncle advises Saibordee to keep a close watch on Nam and Pharot when they arrive to Chiangrath.

The day of the trip, Pharot’s mother fakes an injury to prevent him from going.

Come on woman, one of your sons is a doctor. You can’t fool them!

Plan foiled! When Nam arrives in Chiangrath and goes to one of her estates, she is surprised to see Saibordee. Now, how can you seduce a guy when your brother is there? Kinda hard. She tries to get ruin of him, but he refuses to leave.
