Jai Rao: Ep 13 Part 1

part 2 might not come out tonight. I’m spending time with my family.

Ep 13 starts of with Pataya holding his father hostage at the parking garage. His father wants him to surrender because their is no way for him to escape. Here on this floor, they’re surrounded and 10 more police officers are waiting at the entrance. Pataya accuses his father of plotting against him.

Dr.Prat corrects him:”I think I’m the side who has been deceived, I almost believed you when you said that were going to reform and be a good son to me, a good little brother to Dr.Luk, and be able to love Luk like a real brother. I almost believed when you said Dr.Luk died until you took me to see his corpse. The hand on the corpse, it wasn’t broken nor had it been beaten like Luk’s hand.”

Pataya pressing down on Dr.Prat:“You pretended that the corpse was your son? How I dare you do this to me? You old man, how dare you do this to me? Why have you done this to me?”

–What the fudge, I can’t believe this dude. He had the audacity to say that? Dude, you tried to kill someone and you got caught. Suck it up. Surrender and go to jail. Reform mofo, mofo!

Dr.Prat pushes him off slightly, he grabs Pataya’s shirt collar and tried to reason with him,

“Listen to me. Dr.Luk is not my only child, you are my child too. You are my child too!! I want you to stop thinking and doing these evil things. I want you to recompose yourself, have determination, and go to jail. Within a couple of years, you can come back out and use your life as a normal person.”

Pataya moves back in disbelief and trust. The look in his eyes depict a man who wants to reform. Sadly, the moment is ruined when the police surrounds him. They shout at him, forcing him to return to his flighty state of fear and mistrust.

Fearing for his father’s safety, Dr.Luk convinces Pataya to take him instead.

Wrong move, Pataya jumps into an elevator door with no cart, Luk tries to hold on to him. Pataya looses grip, bye bye Pataya. He dies.

Menie and Vic are preparing for their wedding, Vic is despondent and refuses to participate. He coldly tells Menie, “you can do whatever you want.”

He then pulls his headphones back on and ignores her. OUCH!

Ug! At this point, she should stop trying. Stop bullying him into marriage. It’s painful for her and for him. I don’t understand Menie.

Luk and Aoey share a tender moment talking about their troubles.

Aoey:“Why must both us experience such heaviness in our lives at the same time?”

Luk:“Possibly the heavens are trying to test us…to see how much endurance we have.”

Aoey:“I have never thought that Khun Pataya would be this vindicative towards you.”

Luk:“I have forgiven him regarding everything. Nonetheless, he has left us. I have accepted him as my younger brother.”

Aoey:“What about Khun Prat?”

Luk:“I don’t know. I have never had a father since I was born. No, that’s not right. I have never had a father even in my mother’s womb. I don’t know how I feel about this issue.”

Dr.Luk comes to an understanding with his father. His father apologizes to him about the past.

Dr.Prat:“Luk, I have never intended to abandon you. Your mother found out about my marriage from Pataya’s mother before I could explain the situation to her. She left me and I looked for her in every corner of the earth. I couldn’t find her until you were older. Then, I discovered that she moved to America and raise you there. Do you know…when I discovered that their is a person named Dr.Luk Peesanokgan in this world, do you know how happy I was? I knew instantly that you were my son. Peesanokgan is the last name of the woman I loved dearly.”

Luk:“Then why did you leave my mother to marry another person?”

Dr.Prat:”Pataya’s mother begged me to marry her. Khun Peesamai can not be pregnant without a father. Khun Peesamai is someone who has helped me in the past, I had to agree. I had to repay her kindness and I never knew your mother was pregnant. I found out when I read your mother’s letter, on the day she left me.”

Luk:“My mother has never told me who my father was even in her final hours. She did maintain that my father was a good man and that I should be a good man like him. My mother has never blamed our life together alone and our hardship one anyone. She wanted me to look at the world in a positive way…that our Lord created scarcity so that we understand fullness. My mother wanted me to be a doctor so that we can help others together. I’ve always thought that my good deeds will allow me to meet him.”

Dr.Prat:“Ruedee is a person who is kind-hearted, she is beautiful. Do you know, you’re just like your mother, a good person. Luk, I’m sorry….if I could change things, I would not let it turn out this way. I would not allow myself to lose your mother and you. Luk, I’m sorry. I’m sadden. Luk, please forgive me.”

Luk does and bows down to his father.

Luk:“How can I forgive you when I have never been angry with you.”

They hug! Kinda corny.

Jetsuda picks a fight with Vic at a hotel lobby.

Jetsuda:“Congratulations on your upcoming wedding;however, who is the bride: our famous nang’ek or that sweet girl “

Vic:“Who are you preferring to?”

Jetsuda:“You’re going to get marry to one person, but yet you are hiding another person on the side. Like this, aren’t you afraid you will be perceived as a person who enjoys the bed very much.“—he is saying, Vic you’re a manwhore.

Vic points at Jetsuda and said,

“Don’t accuse me of being a dog.”—I think that is what he said? HAHA. He said maa, that means dog.

Jetsuda:“How so? Is it not true? Hmm….don’t think that I won’t know if you’re hiding someone. Thus, learn to speak nice to me. Don’t make me angry or else I will make your scandal known to everyone in this country. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

Vic could care less and challenges him.

“If you’re going to do something, do it quickly. Don’t threaten me.”

Jetsuda:“I’m not threatening you. I’m waiting for the right moment. Don’t make a mistake. If you do, I’ll will trample on you. Don’t worry about that.”

Vic is preparing himself to give Jetsuda a good punch in the face, Menie shouts from afar to stop.

With Menie there, Vic decides to leave.

Menie:“What is the meaning of this?”

Jetsuda:“I don’t know. He looks like a rabid dog, unlike a man who is going to get marry. I don’t know what is disturbing him.”

Jetsuda looks over at Menie.

Jetsuda:“Or maybe you two are having problems?’

–

Menie and Vic go together to look at the church for the wedding. When they get there, Vic tells her, she should check out the church on her own. He has a headache and will take a nap.

Menie confronts him.

“If you don’t want to marry me, why don’t you tell everyone?”

Vic:“Why are you bringing up old issues… when you and everyone desire for me to take responsibility…and I have done it.”

Menie:“You’re acting despondent as if you were coerce into this.”—Hello! He was! How can she be so dumb? Denial much?

Vic:“Don’t care about my feelings. If you cared about them before, this whole thing would have never happened.”—Nods head in agreeance, preach on my asian brother. Preach on!

Vic reclines the seat and looks away pretending to take a nap.

Oh hell no, Menie bumps into Aoey at the church.

Menie coldly and sternly:”I’m here to book for my wedding.”

Aoey:”Congratulations.”

Menie:”Why are you here? Hopefully, you’re not here to book on the same day as my wedding.”

Aoey:“Khun Menie, you’re correct. I’m also here to book the church for an event.”

Menie:“You’re getting married to Dr.Luk?”

Aoey replies with a simple “yes.”

Menie congratulates her on her upcoming wedding.

Menie:“When is the wedding?”

Aoey:“After your wedding.”

Menie offers to help Aoey with her wedding, if she needs anything, she is more than willing to help out.

Vic dreams about Aoey in the car.

Dream sequence dialog:

Aoey:“There is no need for an apology, you didn’t misunderstand, everything you heard and saw is correct. P’Luk and I love each other. We love each other. WE LOVE EACH OTHER!”

Vic wakes up and decides to go into the church.

Oh hell na! As they are talking about wedding preparations, Vic walks in.

Menie casually informs Vic that Aoey is here to book for her wedding too. OUCH! Vic and Aoey somberly congratulate each other.

Vic has a flashback about the last time her saw her.

Flashback dialog:

Vic:I don’t believe you. Our past, our good feelings for each other, it can’t be…”

Aoey: “THAT’S ENOUGH!!!!The issue of the past, our old old love, it has no meaning to me at all. Because at this moment, I’m back with the person I truly love.”

Vic and Menie leave. Aoey collapses, her nose starts bleeding heavily.

What the hell, they made her crazy! Oy! So unoriginal.

Luk wants her to compose herself and rebuild her life. The only person who can hurt her is herself.

Dr.Luk has completely forgiven Sandy and even lied to the police for her.

Sandy wants to get back with him, Dr.Luk refuses.

Dr.Luk:“I have forgiven you, but it doesn’t mean I want to be your husband again. We are only friends, our story has ended. I think that is the best thing.”

What in the hell, don’t they have caretakers at the church. Surely, someone could have found Aoey and taken her to the hospital. Nope! They gotta wait for Luk to find her.

Luk came to the church to pick up Aoey, he finds Aoey unconscious on the floor.

He takes her to the hospital.

Vic is driving and randomly stopped, startling Menie.

Menie:“Vic, what’s the matter?”

Vic:“How can some forget their past relationship and love so easily?”

Aoey has flashbacks of her past of Vic as she struggles to stay alive.

Back with Vic and Menie

Vic:”If you love someone, can you love another?”

Menie doesn’t answer him.

Vic:“I don’t think I can do that. I can’t.”

Menie:“Then, why are you marrying me?”

Vic:”Because of responsibility. You saved my life and I’m giving you my life, but not my heart.”

Menie:“One day, I will make you love me with all your heart.”

Vic coldly:”Don’t waste your time, it will never happen. I only have one heart, one owner, and it’s Aoey.”

What the hell! this moment is weird. How can she not understand that he is marrying her because of responsibility. Dude, you coerce him into marriage. What the hell is wrong with her. Seriously, he is depressed because you’re making him do something he doesn’t want to do.

At this moment, Aoey’s heart stop beating. Of course, she is saved.

Okay, their wedding is paid by sponsors, so Duang and Pat are trying to make Menie and Vic choose clothing from sponsors that are paying them the most baht.

Vic knows their intentions. He tells Menie and everyone,

“Menie, you don’t have to choose. Let Pat and P’Duang choose it for you. Next time, don’t call me to try anything on, anything that looks good, looks expensive, and brings in the most money, you should just choose that one. Either way, I must accept it.”

I don’t have it capped, but it was priceless when Dr.Luk found out that Aoey is pregnant. He gave this look like, ‘holy bananas, I’m not the father.”

After finding out about the baby, Luk goes to pray at the church.
