Silamanee is starting to lag. I found episode 11 to be a skip worthy episode and repetitive from the previous episodes.
-Nam and Pharot fighting again over the same topic
-Chalee unintentionally hurting Sid’s feelings AGAIN.
-Khun Ying Samerjai still refusing to accept Isaree.
-Nam continuing to reject her mother and making her cry.
What’s new? Nothing. I think this episode could have been shorten or completely discarded from the series. I don’t like repetitive junk. On the bright side, tomorrow’s episode looks promising. Nam will have competition for Pharot’s affection. Khun Ying Samerjai found Pharot a girl. I love it when they add new characters. Drama! HEHE!
Note: this is not a complete summary post, it is more of a select scene translation.

At the start of the episode, Nam and Pharot fight about Chalee.
Earlier, Chalee insulted Nam with this comment:“I know now that you can’t judge people just from their outer appearances. I can’t be like before. I might not be smart, I learn things slowly. If I knew the things I know today, I would have gotten further.”
Deeply hurt by what Chalee said, she rejects Pharot when he invites her for lunch.
This is the part where they are walking in the art studio on campus:
Pharot following Nam:“Hey, since you’re done, lets go eat.”
Nam:“I don’t want to go anywhere with you. You should leave.”
Pharot:“Hey what’s wrong with you. Just because Chalee isn’t interested in you anymore, you have lost your appetite?
Nam turns around and glares at him.
Pharot:”Hey, you don’t have to be angry with me. Chalee has change, which means everything is going into the right direction.”
Nam:“Right direction for you! True, Chalee has change, but he is not the same person I knew. The old Chalee never spoke ill about another person, he has never spoken like a person who doesn’t have a heart like you.”
Pharot:“You don’t need to boast about this or that. The truth is you feel regretful that Chalee was able to separate his heart from you and choose someone who is more suitable for him like Susie. A couple of days ago, you said that Chalee was just a friend. Now that he has gone with another person, you feel regretful. Isn’t that true?”
Nam:“It’s true! I feel regretful. I feel more regretful that Chalee has a brother who is cruel and transform him into someone else, a person who doesn’t have a heart like you.”
Pharot:“Hey Nam! Stop it right now! You have no right to insult me. Did you forget what we are to each other at this moment?”
Nam looks at him with a dumbfounded look and answers him. She is not going to be beaten down.
Nam:”It’s just a lakorn to deceive others. It’s not the truth, not even a little bit.”
–In thai, lakorn means a play, a drama, a story, a stage performance.
Pharot rising his voice:”Though it is just an lakorn, you have agreed to it. For that reason, you have to play it well.”
Nam:”But right now no one is watching our lakorn (looks around) NOT ONE PERSON. In that case….(throws the scarf he gave he earlier at him)…I ask to leave the lakorn.”
She walks away and he picks up the scarf. He calls her back, she ignores his call.
—DAMN Chica, that was intense.

In this scene, Chalee is at Sid’s house hanging out. Chalee is sitting with Sid’s younger brother Nop as Sid reads them a fairytale. Little Nop falls asleep as the story is being read and Khun Ying Athiti takes him away.
When Nop leaves, Chalee asked Sid to continue reading the story.
Sid starts reading the story again and then stops.
Sid:“Hey, why do you want me to continue reading?”
Chalee gives her a big smile.
“Ow, because I’m not asleep yet.” Chalee jokes.
Sid stands up and threatens to hit him with the book.
Chalee:“Go ahead, to fall asleep that way is good too.”
She smiles and smacks him lightly with the book.
–They are really cute together.

That night, Sid tells her stepmother that she knows that Chalee acted that way on campus because he wanted to hurt Pharot and Nam, but Sid doesn’t care.
Khun Athiti:“Are you not angry with Chalee?”
Sid:“I wanted to be angry, but I see that Chalee is trying to separate himself from Nam, so I decided to invite him over to play with Nop to make him forget about the Nam issue.”
Khun Athiti:“You’re stronger than I thought. You helped Chalee compose himself. Now, how are you doing?”
Sid touches her stepmother’s hand and assures her that she is fine.
Sid:“I’m FINE. Though Chalee is hurt and in pain because of Nam Saengluang, nonetheless he is good to me. You don’t need to worry about me.”
Sid gives Khun Athiti the play’s promotion booklet. It’s a charity production, all the tickets sales from the play will go to charity.
Sid informs Khun Athiti that she is going to be in it, as the leading man’s fiancee.
Khun Athiti also finds out that Nam is playing the leading role.
The title of the play is Miss Kheuafah, a woman from the north.

At this point, Chalee has been hanging out at Sid’s house everyday, Khun Ying Samerjai learns of this and makes a visit to Sid’s house with a fruit basket.
Khun Ying Samerjai is ecstatic that her son is developing a stronger relationship with Sid because she sees Sid as a potential daughter-in-law.

Khun Ying Samerjai sees Chalee there and they leave together. As they are leaving, Khun Ying Samerjai compliments Chalee on his transformation and for starting a relationship with Sid.
Chalee smiles uncomfortably.

Pope wants to get engage to Isaree. He wants to use one of his mother’s heirloom rings to give Isaree. Khun Ying Samerjai refuses to let him have it because she finds Isaree lacking as a future daughter-in-law.
God, this lady needs to get over herself and her family name. They are in love. Let them get marry for golly sakes.

The day of the play, Nam sees Chalee setting and smiles at him. He sees her and looks away.

As Nam is looking for a broach to complement her outfit or maybe to pin something, her mother comes to see her.
Khun Athiti unpins her broach from her dress.
“Sweetheart, you can use this broach.” She offers Nam.
Nam totally brushed her off and rudely asked,
“Why are you here?”
Khun Ahiti:“I came here to help you. Everyone refuses to help you because of that scandalous news. The news that said….”
Nam:“The news that I’m a promiscuous woman–to change from the younger brother to the older brother. Is that right?”
Khun Athiti:‘I know that it is ludicrous, a prideful girl like you would never do something like that.”
Nam stands up and faces her mother.
Nam:“You will never know. When time changes, it can make certain things change too. Like yourself, didn’t you change too?”—She is pretty much saying, mom you’re a promiscuous person too.
Khun Athiti:”Why would you think of me like that? When my feelings changed for your father, I had my reasons. We were not suited for each other. As for your issue, people are thinking you are doing this to raise your position. I want to help you because I know my own child.”
Nam:”You have never raised me, how would you know how I am? You never know, I might be the person they are talking about.”
Khun Athiti:“That is not true! I don’t believe it. You are the PRINCESS Saengfarn of Chiangrath. You would never do such a thing.”
Nam tells her mother to be quiet and informs her mother she doesn’t want people to know her true identity.

Khun Athiti:“Why my child? Why are you here and hiding your true identity?”
Nam again tells her mother to shut up.They give each other a good stare and Nam sits down.
Nam commands her mother to leave.
Nam:“You can leave now. In regards to my personal matters, I can take care of it myself. The person who has the right to lecture or order me around is my aunt who has been raising me since the beginning and not some random like you who has no obligations for me.”
Khun Athiti:“I’m not using any rights to lecture you, I’m just concern about you. Why don’t you want to reveal your true identity? And, why are you willing to let others defame you to that extent? What kind of problems do you have? Just tell me. I’m willing to help you in every way.”
Nam:“Why do you want to help me? “
Khun Athiti:“Because you are my child. If you are in distress, I feel more in distress.”
Nam:“Do you really want to help me?”
Khun Athitit:“Yes, really. I want to help you. Whatever problems you have, you can tell me’
Nam:”In that case, you can help by leaving.” –OUCH. Nam is a biatch to her mother. That was pretty cruel!
Khun Athiti is shocked.
Nam:“I’m preparing myself to go on stage soon. Since you came, I have no composure. Please leave.”
Khun Athiti pleads with Nam:
“Nam, when will you understand that I love you and hope for the best for you. Why?”
Khun Athiti approaches Nam and tries to touch her. Nam backs away.
Khun Athiti starts to cry and asked,
“Why are you doing this to me?”
Nam keeps her composure and continues to be cold to her mother.
“If you are not leaving, then I will leave.” She tells her mother. Damn this girl!
Khun Athiti still wants to give Nam the broach and pleads with Nam to take it.
Nam refuses to take it and walks away. Her mother cries profusely.
“Nam, when will you understand me and know that I love you!?” Khun Athiti asked herself.

In this scene, Sid expresses her true feeling and confesses her hurt through her character. Her character and herself have a lot in common, the man they love loves another person.
As she is saying her line, she looks straight at Chalee.
Sid’s line:“There have been many times that I have seen you be happy with her and that is why you can’t restrain yourself from her. Do you hear what I’m saying? Why? Why don’t you sever your feelings for her, either way, your relationship with her can never be.”

The lamp falling scene and Nam is injured. Pharot picks her up and takes her to the hospital.
His mother was not too happy about that.

The new character, Nam’s competition, do you think she is cute?

the new character is pretty cute…and just when thurs not n’rai…(i think that’s the right word)…they just had to put in one…
thanks for capps…
I am only on episode 4 right now, but i’ll catch up in no time.
The new character looks sort of like Pancake.
JaJumpJail,
I so thought that too.. Like yeah dude how could you not put two and two together especially when she was in traditional clothing and wearing more makeup she totally looks like Mae Laing.. Geeze dude bust be too thick in the head.
I love this episode!
Okay, I wish Parot would figure out that Nam is Mae Laing, especially when she was up on stage. Grrrr. And I wish he would just confess his feeling…but then it wouldn’t be a lakorn… sign.
Lyn, could you please translate the scene that Parot had left the hospital and reached home. I want to know what he said to his mother about taking Nam to the hospital. Thanks for all your translations of Silamanee!
The new girl looks like Pancake! Well, at least to me.
LOL at the scene where Pharot carries Nam. Paul is totally struggling to carry her. I remember reading an article about it, too.
Luv Ngam outfit on the stage too. She is always beautiful with those traditional clothes.
I love this episode. It was surprised I found it very touching!
But I got to say I love Silamanee still. And the episode today was actually awesome! I love the Play scene and part when Ngam was carried after the accident. I was also touched by the part Ngam sacrificed her life to save Sasi. Also the last part I cried along was when She chased her mother away from theater. So sad.
That makes sense because the beginning was so fast then it slow down…seems like they trying to prolong the scene or add up same old conversations to drag it longer. That what happen when they try to add more Epi…the story has to drag a bit or circle around the same topic for longer period.
Channel 7 always does that. For instance, The last lakorn from Pancake and Tle was supposed to have like 14 episodes then the add up to 16 Epi I think (not sure how many epi total, but they did added up a few more episodes due to high rating). And Suparb Borus Satan starred Pinky was shorten to less episodes instead because of main actor’s injury or sth.
I mean like Ch7 always add up or shorten their dramas whenever they feel like it LOLz….or when it’s famous so they try to take advantage from it. But still from 14 to 18 epi….that’s a lot if it’s true!
I think the highlight for this epi was the stage play when Pharote carried Ngam from the accident. And also the part when Khun Ying Semerjai was planning to find Pharote a girl.
Anyway, I think they tried to add more episodes to it due to the high rating or sth like that. Because it was supposed to have 14 episodes, then they prolong to 17, but finally they come up with like 18 episodes total.
I’m not sure either just one of my friends told me about this coz she read in Thai Newspaper or sth like that. And it was also true due to your previous post when u said “Montra Heang Ruk” supposed to air on Dec 19 replacing Silamanee, but now Montra Heang Ruk will air on 20th of Dec instead.
Lyn, by the way do u know anything about the recent rating of all lakorns in Thailand? Coz I want to know how much Silamanee gets since the last time it was very high with only a few episodes out. It must rise coz it’s getting better and better. Besides, I also want to know about Jai Roa. It should go up coz it’s also getting better. And I also want to know about Koew Lom Phetch since it’s also good!
Wow…I’ve been waiting for this caps and translation! Thanks a million na my lovely Lyn!
