1) the beginning scene-what was Prince Gawin and Ngam was arguing about when he suddenly grabs her hand?

In the room…

Saengfarng:“What governmental issue did you want to discuss?”

Prince Gawin:”How long will it take until you finish making the fabric?”

Saengfarng:“That is not governmental matters.”

Prince Gawin:“Princess, I love you and I also have to consider my dignity. I can’t just let the relative of your former fiancee insult me like this, I think that was too much.”

Saengfarng:“I would like to apologize on behalf of my friend. He is an artist, he only said that out of mood.”

Prince Gawin stands up.

Prince Gawin:“What if I reacted to his mood? Will you be angry with me?”

Saengfarng stands up too.

Saengfarng:“Here is the state of Chiangrath and you are not yet the ruler.”

Prince Gawin:“For what reason are you saying that? If it is to speak ill and insult me then….”

He grabs both her hands.

“I must show you that I don’t love you less than your former fiancee. Now that I’m your finacee, you can forget about him. Or do you still have feelings for him?” He shouts at her.

Saengfarng firmly:“Let me go right now, you should not be doing this to me.”

He turns his back on her and asked,

“Why not? We’re already engage.”

Saengfarng:“My former fiancee has never touched me. If you don’t have anything else to say, I would like to be by myself.”

She gives him an evil stare down and he leaves.

2) the painting Chalee did of Ngam for Pharot- what was their conversation?

Saengfarng looks a the finish painting.

Saengfarng:” Oh, it’s so beautiful.”

Sid:“Nam, it is very beautiful.”

Chalee:”Hey Sid, are you complimenting my skill or Nam’s beauty?”

Sid takes her time before answering.

Sid:‘HMMM…..both, but I want to compliment the Princess more so because she is very beautiful.”–she saying his painting sucks compared to the real thing.

Chalee:“Fine, since you said it, Sid. However, if it was someone else, I would be angry.”

They laugh.

Chalee:“If P’Pharot saw this painting, he would be very happy because he is able to have you by his side like before.”

Saengfarng:”Chalee, I have to go to Bangkok soon as a guest to the government and also as the finace of Prince Gawin.”

Sid:”Why do you have to go? If you go, P’Pharot will know.”

Saengfarng:“I don’t want to go, but Prince Gawin has already arrange everything. I can’t reject this event.”

Chalee:“If you don’t want to go, why can’t you reject the request?”

“It’s an important issue between nations, I can’t reject it.” Saengfarng explains to him.

Sid:”I feel pity for P’Pharot. If he knew, he would be devastated.”

Saengfarng:”Chalee and Sid, I send with you this portrait for Pharot. I believe that once he sees this portrait, he will understand that I really want to apologize to him.”

3) can we get a brief overview of the conversation between Pharot, Parun, Ngam, and Gawin?

So Pharot is a diplomat for the country of Thailand. I thought he was a businessman.

Pharot is surprise to see Saengfarng and Saengfarng to see him.

Prince Gawin:“You have not seen the Princess Saengfarng for a while now, do you think she is still beautiful?”

Pharot:“Yes. The princess is still elegant like before.”

He bows to her.

Saengfarng:“Thank you very much, you also have not changed.”

“This time Pharot didn’t come alone, he brought his fiancee too.” Prince Gawin points out. He only did that to bruise Saengfarng’s heart.

Run:“Really, I never knew of this. (looks over to Pharot) Or maybe you have never told me.”

Pharot:“Well…it happened a long time ago. It was an engagement arranged by my father and the Princess’s father. We never knew of it.”

Saengfarng lies:”That’s correct. We have never known each other. We have never liked each other. When Khun Pharot found out the truth, he quickly returned the Silamanee to me to break our engagement. Khun Parun, you can be feel assured.”

Prince Gawin:”Khun Run, when I found out, I felt the same as you. In the end, Khun Saengfarng assured me that Khun Pharot and herself were engagement in the way of the old custom of the North.”

Prince Gawin takes Saengfarng’s hand.

“That is why I trust her.”—I think that is what he said. ??

Then Prince Gawin asked Pharot about his upcoming nuptials.

Pharot takes his time answering and Run answers for him.

“In two months, we have to wait until Pharot starts his position in France first. Once that is cleared, we will have the wedding there.” Run told him.

At this point, everyone starts complimenting each other about their partners.

Prince Gawin:“Khun Run, you’re very compatible with Khun Pharot.”

Saengfarng:“That is correct, you two are well-matched.”

Pharot looks at Prince Gawin and told him,

“You are very well-matched to the Princess Saengfarng. Whenever we are set, I will have to invite you to come celebrate with us.” –meaning I will have to invite you to my wedding.

After that, Saengfarng excuses herself from the group.

As she is sitting on the bench, Prince Gawin finds her.

Prince Gawin:“It’s very clear that Khun Pharot does not care for you anymore, why are you still sulking?”

She doesn’t answer him.

Prince Gawin:“I’m sorry for doing this to you. If I didn’t do it, I wouldn’t have a way to find out whether you, the future Queen of Racha, still had feelings for your former lover.”

Saengfarng:“If you wanted to know, you didn’t have to use this method. You are the ruler of a nation and the guardian of the people, but you use deception to hurt other people.”

Prince Gawin:”Though I’m a ruler, my emotions are no different from that of a commoner who wanted to know whether his fiancee will ever get over her former lover. I think the best thing to do is for you to return home and finish making that fabric. Don’t assume that I don’t know that you are buying time waiting for him. From this point on, your time is soon up.”

Saengfarng stands up and walks away.

When she returns, she finds Pharot hunch over Run. Something is in her eyes and Pharot was trying to get it out for her. Saengfarng misunderstands the scene and leaves.

4) can you translate what Ngam wrote to Pharot when Chalee gave him the painting?

The Letter:“Khun Pharot, I write to you as Nam Saengfarng and not as the Princess Saengfarng or Mae Liang. I want to accept responsibility for lying and deceiving you. Whoever I am, there is one truth, those 3 individuals accept guilt and would like to thank you for the love you have given them. I will accept your love and keep it in my heart for eternity.

Nam Saengluang.”

After reading the letter, he decides to visit Saengfarng at her house.

When he arrives and asked for Nam, the younger servant girl blurts out”

“She is in her room with Prince Gawin.”

Meaning, they might be doing something “wink wink.” Get it. HAHAHA

He immediately leaves.

5) what about the scene where Ngam play an instrument forced by Prince Gawin?

Prince Gawin is drunk and requested Saengfarng play a melody for him on her harp.

Saengfarng:“What did you want?”

Prince Gawin:“I want you to play the harp for me.”

Saengfarng declines and explains,

“You’re drunk, I think you need to rest.”

She tries to leave.

He calls out to her.

“Hold up you, I said I want to listen to you play the harp.”

Saengfarng:“I said you’re drunk and I think you need to give me some more respect.”

Prince Gawin:“Drunk? I’m not drunk yet. I’m still conscious and aware of everything.”

He shows her the silamanee.

Prince Gawin:“Is this right, the silamanee that you have given me to mark our engagement to represent that we are betrothed.”

Saengfarng looks away.

Saengfarng:“Put the silamanee away.”

Prince Gawin:“What’s the matter? I’m the prince of the country of Racha and the silamanee is our confirmation, why can’t I do what I want with it?”

Saengfarng looks at him nervously.

Prince Gawin:“Fine. The things you have done to me have made me lose dignity and pride. The prince of the country of Racha is just a commoner, but you remember this: when you become my wife, princess Saengluang, you will have nothing of Chiangrath, except this silamanee. If I don’t return it to you, then you will have nothing, only that you are from Chiangrath. Will you now do what i requested?”

She gives in and plays the harp.

Prince Gawin:“If you want to cry, go ahead. I promise to wipe those tears away for you for eternity.”

Saengfarng:“There will never be a day. You will never see my tears.”–wow.

6) what’s the fight between Saibordee and Gawin about?

WHICH one? They had two arguments? Well they were arguing about the same thing that Gawin is a bastard and Saengfarng doesn’t love him. HAHA. I love Saibordee, he tells it like it is.

In the second argument, Saibordee vows to keep the throne for Saengfarng until Gawin is tired of her. When he divorces her, she can return to Chiangrath and be reinstated as the Princess/Queen of Chiangrath.

7) what about pharot’s mom going crazy at the end of the episode?

I don’t know. That’s part of the preview. I think she became emotionally crippled when Pharot decided to choose Nam over her. ?? Just a thought.

at the end, saibordee looks so happy but not Ngam, what’s wrong with her?

When Saibordee laughs, it’s cute because dude never cracks a smile. Humnuan informs Siabordee and Saengfarng that Pharot has come to visit them.

Saengfarng:“Why is he here?”

Humnuan laughs:“Well because of me. I told him the truth about that night and I also called Khun Ying Athiti to tell her that Prince Gawin has returned the silamanee to you.”

Saibordee laughs at this point and praises Humnuan for her efforts.

Saengfarng yells at them both for some reason. ???

“Little sister, there is nothing wrong with this. You’re free now. I think you should go talk to Khun Pharot.” Saibordee advises her.

Will she take his advice? Or will she see him some other time. I guess we will have to find out in the next episode.
