Leading Thai stars from Ch3 act as gift bearers for the engagement ceremony of “Ong” Wunwat Maleenon, the son of a major Ch3 elder “Prawit” Aranya Maleenon. Ong got engage to “Paa” Orapaa Laohapongchana daughter of Preecha Laohapongchana, a former administrator of the political group “Thai Ruk Thai”.
The dowry hovered around Bt100 million ($2.8 million USD). Good God!
Other engagement gifts included…
-a check for Bt9 million ($257, 820 USD)
-a gold set
-a 7 carat diamond jewelry set.
-raw currency in a bag about Bt200,000 ($5,729.30 USD)
The engagement ceremony was held at the Oriental hotel in Bangkok January 8, the actual wedding is schedule for January 22, 2009 at the Four Seasons hotel.

Kob and Brook finally wed.

After ten years of dating and his mother’s disapproval, “Kob” Suvanant Kongying finally weds her politician wannabe boyfriend “Brook” Danuporn Poonakan. His mother cried during the engagement ceremony and even hugged Kob to congratulate her. Wow.
These are morning engagement ceremony pictures, the reception will be held tonight (or 8:00am Eastern time US 1/9/09) at the Centara Grand hotel on the 23rd floor in the grand ballroom.
