Site Maintenance: organizing Lakorns/w Eng subs PAGE

For the next day or so, I will be working on organizing the Lakorns/w Eng subs PAGE. My plan is to create a post for all subbed lakorns and the Lakorns/w Eng subs PAGE will no longer have youtube links but rather links to a post of the lakorn.

An example on how the Lakorns w/Eng subs page will look like from now on..

An EXAMPLE on how the lakorn POST will look….

“Dum Kham (Tanned)”, Comedy/Romance, 2009, Ch7, Subbed by Thinkjaden

Plot:
Pong plays high society guy Tuthiya, a snobbish man from the city. Tangmoe plays Dum, a feisty girl from the country. Unbeknownst to them both, their fathers had engaged them since childhood.

Not wanting to marry Tuthiya, a man who looks down on country folks, Dum paints her body black and pretends to an uncultured woman to make Tuthiya despise her and break off their arrange marriage. Sure enough, he does.

Driving home, Tuthiya gets into a car accident and is rescued by Dum. She cares for him and when he wakes up, she realizes he has lost his memory. Ah huh! Play time! She mischievously takes advantage of this and takes Tuthiya to her plantation, she tells him he is Tui, one of her employees. As Tui, she makes his life a living hell by making him eat and sleep in sand.

When he regains his memory, Tuthiya vows revenge and announces to everyone he will marry Dum. Though Dum rejects the proposal, she is pressured by her elders and they are married.

Of course their married life is completely disastrous but eventually they fall for each other.

What do you think? If you have any suggestions as to how I should organize the Lakorns/w Eng Sub page, please voice your opinions. I’m one person, I need all the help I can get. If you don’t like this format, do say so. I’m also deleting all nonactive subbed lakorns with just a few videos subbed.

Suggestions are always welcomed at my blog, sometimes I listen to them sometimes I don’t. I do read ALL of them and take note for future considerations.

Singer Aof has a thing for Blythe dolls

Whatever floats your boat buddy, I don’t pass judgment.

It was just recently revealed that singer Aof Pongsak collects Blythe dolls, you know those crazy Gothic looking dolls with the big eyes that look like they are about to come alive and poke your eye out with a pencil. Kinda creepy. Well, Aof doesn’t follow my sentiments, he finds them “narak” or cute. His older sister brought him one and he became hooked. Aof has a collection of 40 Blythe dolls and the highest he paid for one was 10,000 Baht ($230 USD). Good god, for a doll? Aof argues that men can play with dolls too and it doesn’t mean they’re gay. According to Aof, at www.blythethailand.com, there are a lot of Blythe doll purchases by men, he doesn’t find it strange at all.

Don’t look at me Dolls! Oh my gosh, they are so creepy. I’ve never been a doll or Barbie person, when I was little, I only played with teddy bears.

Currently, collecting Blythe dolls is a major trend in Thailand.

Kwan is one bad cookie

“See, she is always like this, and I made an effort to come over.” Kwan complaining to reporters at an event sponsored by Dida productions when she was left hanging as Pancake ignored and declined to take pictures with her. Kwan wanted to prove to the media that everything was just rosy, so she approached Pancake and asked if they could take a picture together. Humiliatingly bad for Kwan, Pancake refused to play along and quickly excused herself and ignored Kwan’s request for a picture together.

Comments left by readers suggest Kwan is a conniving person who knowingly approached Pancake to aggravate her and to make Pancake lose face in public.

“You know, it looks like they are in different levels, different caliber. One is an expert and the other one didn’t catch on to the game, “ a person wrote in the comment section at Manager news website. The person is saying, Kwan was pulling a fast one on Pancake but Pancake didn’t catch on. Some suggested that Pancake should have played along and not walked away.

Soon after the ordeal, Kwan was called over by the channel elders to explain herself. Kwan told the elders she had no choice, she did not make the first move, it was all arranged by the reporters.
