Twenty-eight year old actor/singer Hugo Chula Alexander Chakrabongse aka Hugo Jakrapong is getting married soon to his long time girlfriend of 4 years, actress Hana Tudsanawalai. The wedding is set for March 21, 2009. His mother is especially pleased with his upcoming nuptials because she feared he would never marry.

converts to islam, how disgusting and hypocritical. First, she is lucky to live in a buddhist society that lets here marry who she wants and dress like a slut without getting acid thrown in her face. Let her go to pakistan or indonesia or libya or bangledesh dressed like that and experience the real inner islam. Any how hypocritical of her to say, one the one hand, there is no compulsion in religion, and then say you have to change his religion to marry me. And only an idiot would join a religion to marry some girl who is herself mentally unstable and that has as its central dogma the koran verse, he who changes his (islamic) religion, then kill him. Once he divorces her in the future and tries to rediscover his real religion he will be marked for death. But this is more than just a stupid guy doing something stupid because he wants a stupid girl, and it is not a personal matter between two peope, because of their high profile and young people’s willingness to emulate pop figures this is an assault on buddhism, Thai society and an abuse of our generousity. Let a Christian or Hindu in a muslim country tell a muslim he must change his religion to marry and see what happens. If you do the math you can see this is an assualt on our demographics. Really his actions are disgusting, to throw away thousands of years of history and priceless teachings of dhamma that come to mankind one in millenium just to marry some girl that follows an alien arab belief system from the 7th century that teaches it is above others and kills them if they resists, is both disusting and suicidal.
