Another work week, Boo!

Aerin, better actress than Vill?

I’m a little surprise by this, actress Aerin Siripon is gaining more recognition for her nang’rai role in “Gaew Lom Phet” than Vill Wannaros, the nang’ek of the lakorn.

Vill doesn’t think too much of it and wants to focus on doing her best.

” Regarding this issue, I don’t think much of it. Aerin has entered the entertainment business much earlier than me and knows more people. We are friends and friends should support each other. Aerin is a very sweet girl, really! Every character is significant, equivalent to each other. Regarding this issue, it relates to the talents of each person more so than how well you want to play it. As for Aerin, she plays it well, she has a lot of talent. Her character has more depth and requires more acting. As for my character she does not get a lot of scene time compared to Aerin’s but Aerin plays her character successfully and I don’t find it strange that people love her performance, even I enjoy it. “ Vill told reporters.

Reporter:“But aren’t the network elders trying to promote you?”

“You should call it giving an opportunity more so than to promote. My friends in my same level are given opportunities just like me. Khun Boy Takolkait Weerawan wants us to try and play different characters to find out who is more suitable for a specific character. As for myself, I know I don’t fit the well-mannered character. When I watch it, I don’t recognize myself, I don’t know why. However, the elders have asked me to play this well-mannered role because they want me to practice and see how far I can go with it.”
Vill explained.

Though I like Vill more so than Aerin, I would have to agree that Aerin’s character has more depth than Vill’s. Vill’s Namphet character is somewhat bland. At the being she was feisty and argumentative, now she only exist to hold hands with Win, played by Yuk Songpaisan. That’s nice and all but I wish her character was more developed.

I would also have to agree with this comment at the Sanook forum regarding this news.

“She is very cute (referring to Vill), I don’t think that is the case, I think she is better. Nang’rai speaks weirdly, it’s not clear. When she is angry, it’s not pretty.”

—Aerin does speak oddly. Her Thai sounds weird, though she is speaking perfect Thai.

well..i think that Aerin is a very pretty and good actress, although she got the part that was suppose to like kill or be mean to people i think that Aerin is a very good actress and makes everything look real, not like they are just acting it out. And as for Vill, she was kind of like blank, she was only present in some parts while Aerin was getting all the attention, and trying to make vill get more of the attention by only getting her some small scenes wont let her gain fame…but in vill’s new lakorn with bie, i think that Vill will surely gain some fame now../i really liked her personality in the movie…and vill also got a whole lot more scenes than before…

Well in Kaew Lom Phet, i found them both pretty decent actresses
But after Vill’s second lakorn, she didn’t improve in her acting skills, which was a disappointment
And the fact that she’s always getting these weak roles is not going to do her any good
But lucky she’s got a third one out and it’s different to her normal roles - she has to pretend to be a boy
So hopefully she has improved by then

And Aerin, i believe she’s a very good actress though i didn’t watch any of her other lakorns
But in Kaew Lom Phet, I loved the way she portrayed her character, and it did make the lakorn fun to watch

Vill is pretty good for a fist lakorn but I must admit that Aerin is the one who stand out the most. At the beginning I really didn’t like her but she became better and better while vill became……background.

Lol, true definition of “bored at work.” It’s so weird to see someone famous at that personal level.

I was browsing myspace over a year ago or so. (bored at work lol) I came across it. There was something about her. I was like ..interesting plus I thought she was cute. When the lakorn came out, I was like I seen her before. So yea, finding her myspace was by accident.

It’s weird to look at their friend list, I saw actor Louis don’t know his last name’s page.
He was really trying to be gangsta gangsta, does he even know what that means?

You guys know what I’m talking about right, VJ Jaa’s bf.

Okay guys, let’s be nice and have a civil discussion, er..blog lol.

Another thing to mention, the lakorn IS called “Kaew Lom Phet,” a little play on words. And the basis of it is that secret about Kaew/Gaew and Namphet being switched. So of course Aerin has to have lots of screen time. We can’t judge who is better or worse after one lakorn. Let’s see what else they can do in their new lakorns coming up, and watch them take on different roles.

you are so right tofu, im on your side and who the hell is kiki on the top saying n’ek role is harder than n’rai role, i just hate it when people hate a actor or actress because of their role

Chompoo outshined Noon in that lakorn with Vee, and I don’t see any one complaining about her. Nang rai roles sometimes do outshine nang ek roles. And sometimes in lakorns, the story and it’s events will develop and unravel around the nang rai. Just like in Kaew Lhom Phet. There are more scenes of Aerin, than of the rest of the characters. Her crazy, selfish, and psychotic character is what keeps the story moving forward. To me, Aerin is the lead in Kaew Lhom Phet, and everyone else are just supporters.

Vill was good in the beginning, and she is good for a newbie actress (I love her in depth crying scenes), but right now her character is just there as the weakling/cry baby/unable to do anything nang ek. A very bland, very boring role. She’s a bright young actress, but her role doesn’t showcase her true acting talents.

Aerin can’t be judged on the way she talks, or what she wears in the lakorn. I think she’s beautiful, she’s talented, and she’s sexy on her own little cutesy way. She played the psycho nang rai role perfectly. She looked the part, and she acted the part well. Of course she’d get recognize.

It’s unfair to even say Vill is better, Vill is this, Vill is that just because Vill is so cute and likeable, and the innocent nang ek, and then say you don’t like Aerin for her talking, or the way she dresses, or for whatever other reason. Acting is acting, and clearly Aerin outshines Vill this time in the acting department. And if people hate her for her bitchy, psychotic character, then that just proves my point that she really is a good actress.

Just my two cents, cause I actually like Aerin in this drama.
