Leading Thai stars from Ch3 act as gift bearers for the engagement ceremony of “Ong” Wunwat Maleenon, the son of a major Ch3 elder “Prawit” Aranya Maleenon. Ong got engage to “Paa” Orapaa Laohapongchana daughter of Preecha Laohapongchana, a former administrator of the political group “Thai Ruk Thai”.
The dowry hovered around Bt100 million ($2.8 million USD). Good God!

The engagement ceremony was held at the Oriental hotel in Bangkok January 8, the actual wedding is schedule for January 22, 2009 at the Four Seasons hotel.

I still don’t know who is with which channel and since I’m an old thai pop-thai drama fan, I’m still learning all the new names. However, have to say that Ch. 3 has some very attractive people! I love the pairings. When I first saw Aum and Aff, I seriously thought it was their wedding or ngan mun, but sadly it isn’t.
Ridiculous though, how much money was spent on the whole thing. The bride better live up to her dowry!
