This is insane. Starting tomorrow January 17, Circuit City will start liquidating their assets.
Approximately 34,000 Circuit City employees will be laid off and 567 Circuit city stores across the U.S will be closed.
After 60 years of business, it has finally come to an end.
Faints! I was just thinking I needed a new laptop, maybe I should hold off, the economy looks too grim.
I went and checked out the “Liquidation Sale,” there was nothing that appeared on sale to me. Everything was at regular pricing, even maybe more. But it does stink that Best Buy will be a monopoly and raise prices, possibly.
that sucks. I normally go to circuit city for my electronics! ughh… what’s going on in AMERICA!!!!!
I hope the people affected get jobs soon.
I feel sorry for all those people losing their jobs. My sis was tellign em they were closing and I was like, no way. I need a new desktop though.
but with this terrible economy, I feel very very bad for those people who’ll be losing their jobs..
Oh yeah.. all the circuit city stores has been closed here… Oh well i somehow like bestbuy better.

come to an end like this. my dad used to love circuit
city. he liked it more than best buy or any other
place. wow..i wish the best for those employees. :[
Wow, the economy has gotten so bad. Mervyn’s just closed down a few weeks ago, too. 34,000 ppo, that’s just heartbreaking to read. My heart really goes out to them and their families.
