Part 2
I consider it a happy ending.

This is just sad.
Finally, Aoey is showing consciousness. He sings for her and she responses by hugging him.

Vic tells Guy Gay Pat with joy, he kisses his daughter, and Aoey holds onto him tighter.

Back in Bangkok, Menie and Luk are developing their relationship. It’s Christmas time and they exchange gifts in front of Menie’s house.
Luk when Menie comes out:
“Khun Menie, you’re very beautiful.”
She laughs at him. There are many ways of telling a woman she is pretty in Thai, Luk used an old fashion way. Instead of “Suay”, he used “Nam”.
Luk:“I Read that the meaning of beautiful is more than just being pretty. The word “nam” suits you very well. You’re very beautiful in your appearance and your heart.”
They exchange gifts and Luk asked Menie:
“Do you have the same urge as I do? At this moment, I really want to hug you. Can I hug you?”
He hugs her.

Eating on her own!
Another big step for Aoey!

Menie and Luk visit Vic and Aoey at the island. As Vic is congratulating them on their coming nuptials, little Kong-Kwan runs off.
Aoey notices it and follows her.
When Vic looks back at Aoey, she is not there. He panics. He is more in shock when baby Kong-Kwan is missing too.

They all look for Aoey and Kong-Kwan. They found them on the beach.
This moments mark another big step for Aoey because she is walking again.
Everyone is ecstatic.
Menie:“I’m so happy for you Vic, it must be the instincts of a mother, she must be very concern about her daughter.”
Vic looks at Aoey and asked,
“Aoey, were you concern about our child? Do you want to hold our child?”
He puts Kong-Kwan near Aoey,
“Hold her tight, hug her tightly” He urges her.
Everyone cries.

On the day of the Award show, Luk gives Menie her engagement ring on a flower blossom.
Nott Vorarit (the actor who plays Luk) mumbles a lot, I can barely understand him must of the time.
This is what I think he said,
“Something, hurt, something, caring about other people’s hearts…Now there is just us two, this will be the last time that I will go on my knees to ask for a woman’s hand in marriage. I hope this person does not disappoint me and hurt me like my past experiences.”

He goes on his knees and properly asked for her hand in marriage.
She agrees.

They kiss each other on the cheeks because this is a lakorn what did you expect?? A full on tongue action. J/P
HAHA.
Luk tells Menie that he loves her.
Menie replied, “I love you too.”
He gives her a cheesy smile, she kisses him on the cheek, they hug!

Vic is nominated for a prestigious acting award, he goes to the award show while Aoey stays home at the island.
She watches him on TV.

Of course, he won. This is a lakorn!
Vic’s acceptance speech:
“I would like to thank everyone, who has followed my work and has supported me. This lakorn is my last lakorn. And this award is my last award for the rest of my life.”
Shock swipes through the audience.
Vic continues with,
“I believe I have been in this business long enough. I think it is time I spend more time caring for my family. The first person is my wife, she is my inspiration, my support system, who has helped me be able to stand on this respectable stage at this moment. Another person is my daughter, though she is young, she is my hope, my encouragement. At this moment, at 9pm this evening, I give this award to you and our child. Thank you.”

After hearing that, Aoey has a flashback of their time together.

As he is leaving, Vic tries to flee the media to no avail. He is bombarded with questions about his retirement.
As he trying to answer the press, Duang interrupts him.
Duang:“Either way, Vic can not leave the entertainment business. Don’t forget, Vic has already accepted many work offers. Next year, we have a lot of projects lined up. He has 4 lakorns, one where he is playing pra’ek for Menie, then he has 3 movies where he is acting along side top actors from all across Asia. Oh, in the middle of the year, he has a big project lined up, an advertising gig for a new line of cars (airplane cars?), we will be signing an international contract. Also, Brad Pitt is co-starring in the project, there are 3 versions he part of.”
Vic rolls his eyes at her and said,
“Really, this is my first time hearing of this.”
Duang:“Ow, I wanted to surprise you and at the same time, tell the media that this deal will not be under $100 million baht ($2.8 million USD).”
Vic:“Now what?”
Duang:“Well tomorrow, the contract is being sent over for you to sign, I invite all of you to come and report his moment.”
The reporters accept.
Vic totally burned Duang by saying,
“Then, I think you need to find someone else in my place to sign the contract because I’m returning to the provinces and never coming back to Bangkok if it is not necessary.”
Duang laughs it off and asked,
“what do you mean by that?”

Vic:“I think I have spoken clearly on stage. If others didn’t hear it clearly or did not understand it, I will tell you more clearly for the very last time…I’m not coming back to work in the entertainment business until my family can live happily.”
Vic tries to walk out; Duang shouts out to him,
“So you’re trying to say that you’re abandoning a project worth millions of baht for your mentally handicap wife?”
Vic turns around and sternly told her, “yes, it doesn’t matter how many thousands, millions of baht you place in front of me, I won’t care. I will never return to work for a handicap heart person like you. Now, can you hear me clearly?”
Vic tries to walk away again and Duang shouts at him again,
“You crazy bastard! Have you gone crazy to be able to throw away 100 million baht?”
Vic turns around,
“Who is the one who is crazy? Have you forgotten….you insulted me by saying I was a star who has fallen to the ground. Now, why do you want too pull this star up again? Or possibly the money you will get for my projects have allowed you swallow your saliva and lower yourself.”–he is saying she has no pride and is willing to lower herself for money.
Duang calls out Vic’s name in rage.
“Not only are a person without dignity, you’re also a pitiful person, Khun Duang Kaew.” Vic continues.
Burn!

Aoey is more responsive.
When Vic is combing her hair, she thanks him.
Another major step, she is able to talk again.

Vic thinks that Aoey can remember him and their child now because she can speak.
He keeps repeating:“You can remember me and our child now!!! Am I right?”

He hugs her with JOY.

Sadly, he is disappointed when she asked, “Who are you?”
Vic:“It’s me, P’Vic. Tell me you can remember me. Tell me. I’m your P’Vic.”
She doesn’t remember and asked, “Why are you crying.”

Vic cries and hugs her,
“It’s alright Aoey, you will return, you will be the same as before. It’s alright. It’s alright.”
He kisses her hand. Kong-Kwan touches his face and tells him, “Dad, it’s alright.”
She gives him a big hug.

That night, he carries Kong-Kwan to sleep with Aoey.

Alone, he cries.

They are playing on the beach, building sandcastles.
Vic gives Aoey seashells.
Aoey:“Thank you, for being so good to me. When I watch you with Kong-Kwan, you’re very adorable to the point where I want to meet Kong-Kwan’s mother. If I’m given the opportunity to meet her, I would tell her she is the luckiest person on earth to have such a good husband and an adorable daughter.”

Vic is taken back. He looks somberly at Aoey and their daughter.

However Vic is not dejected, he stands up and brushes off the sand on his pants. He walks over to Aoey and asked,
“Aoey, lets go for a stroll.”
She smiles at him and accepts his offer.
Vic’s voice over at this moment:
“God created each person for a purpose Now, I know…what I was born to do. I’m happy that I’m able to do something for the person I love and I want to do it. I will continue to do this for the person I love without end. I hope that one day, God will understand and bring back the most important thing in my life. If you have ever love someone, don’t stall to tell them that you love them…tell them at the time when they will understand the power of your love. If you believe in Love, and the power of love, then the thing call love will return to you.”—kinda off but you get the gist.

He picks up Kong-Kwan and they go on their stroll.
