Jai Rao:Ep 15end Caps PART 1

I’m glad for the ending, they gave us something different–a tragic ending with a light of hope. It caters to both tragic ending and happy ending fans. No one died, but it is still a tragic ending because our nang’ek is mentally sidelined; she has lost her memory and her mental comprehension. Even to the end, she could not comprehend that she had a child and a loving husband. Pretty Sad, tissues please! Though Aoey never gain her mental comprehension by the end, I would like to think that eventually she did.

In conclusion it was an experience to watch “Jai Rao”, a well-acted/ Korean-style melodrama series that I will never watch again.

Part 2 is coming later when I actually finish watching it. I scanned through it and watched the ending.

At the start of the episode, Vic invites everyone for dinner. He cooks a feast for everyone and smiles with glee. Everyone notices.

Guy Gay Pat assumes Vic received work from the “Vision Possible” Agency and that is why he is in a chipper mood. But Nope, Vic informs everyone he has quit the agency, he rip the contract into pieces and threw it at Duang.

Everyone is shock and very concern, especially Aoey.

Vic looks over at Aoey:“Right now, I know what true happiness feels like. Now I can give you and our child my full attention.”

Menie watches them with envy and support.

Luk and Menie leave together after dinner. Before officially heading home, they stop at the river bank to watch the view. Menie seemed somber and Luk notices.

Luk:”Is there anything wrong, you suddenly became quiet?”

Menie:“I just wanted to know why I was born. Vic has his purpose–he has Aoey to care for. I also want to care for someone.”

Luk: “I been caring for people all my life, occasionally I also want to be cared for.”

Menie looks over at him.

Luk:“We are very different in every aspect, but in th end, we want the same thing. Some people spend their lives looking for their soulmates when actually that person is standing in front of them. Do you agree?”

She looks shyly down and said, “Let’s go home.” —She just ruined the moment.

Luk is still persistent and tells her,

“The person who is close to me now is you, Melanie.”

Menie smiles at him.

Aoey and Vic are at the hospital waiting to get a check up. Vic sings for his child.

After the song, Vic asked his unborn child:

“Hey kiddo, do you like this song?”

The baby kicks.

Vic cheerfully:“I guess that means she really likes it.”

Aoey:“Do you like it or do you find it unbearable, my child? Just tell your dad.”

Vic puts his head on Aoey’s pregnant stomach and said:“our child said she likes it and that I sing very well. She wants to hear more.”

He starts to sing for the baby again. —OH my god, it was so painful to listen too. Ken should never sing again.

Aoey experiences something odd, her vision is blurred, Aoey panics and faints.

As Luk is checking her vitals, Aoey wakes up.

Aoey:“Luk, what is wrong with me? Why can’t I see, why does my head hurt? What’s wrong with me.”

Luk tries to console her:

“There is nothing wrong. It was just a minor thing.”

Aoey looks at her belly, she rubs it.

Aoey starts to cry:

“What about my child? My child! P’Luk, Help me!!”

Luk leaves Aoey and informs Vic about the situation.

The baby is a major strain on Aoey’s health, they need to do a force delivery.

Vic is startled and very concern about both Aoey and the baby.

Vic:“Force delivery? But my child is only 6 months.”

Luk:”If we keep the baby, she will go under shock–her blood vessels will bursts, her brain will lose blood flow, she will not make it. At this point, we must save the mother first. As for the child, I want you to prepare yourself. The child is very premature, the lungs are not fully developed….your child might not make it.”

Vic said nothing and puts his head down.

The delivery went fine, the baby is very healthy for a preemie. However, Aoey is still unconscious after the surgery.

Vic seeing his daughter for the first time.

Luk mentions that Vic’s daughter is like a gift for everyone because she came out healthy.

Vic is overjoyed he has a daughter.

Vic to his daughter:”Daddy’s little girl is already healthy, be alright, okay? Just wait here for a moment, daddy will bring mommy to see you soon.”

Luk looks at Vic dejectedly because he knows Vic will be disappointed and sadden when he sees Aoey in her state.

Vic goes to see Aoey.

Vic:“Aoey, you’re out of danger now. I went to see our child, our child is a girl. She is very adorable. Whenever you wake up, I will take you to see our child.”

Though Menie and Guy Gay Pat know nothing about the ins and outs of childbirth, they find it odd that Aoey is still “sleeping”. They ask Dr.Luk whether something was wrong.

Luk:“Aoey is still unconscious. After the delivery surgery, she lost a lot of blood, to the point where she did not receive enough blood flow to her brain, her brain was cut off from oxygen…(then Luk started mumbling which I didn’t understand, I swear this guy needs to stop mumbling, I don’t understand you buddy)”

Basically, Aoey has become a mental vegetable–she can’t even control her blinking. From this point on, she is mentally handicapped.

Vic is devastated.

Vic:“Aoey, why must you be this unfortunate? We have an adorable child, a very healthy child at that. Why must you fall into this state? Why am I not the unfortunate one?”

Awww…he hugs her. He wants to take her place.

Several days have passed, Vic comes to visit Aoey every day, he brings her white roses each time.

In her place, Vic takes mother classes to learn how to care for his daughter.

He learns how to work her medical equipment.

Several weeks or days have passed.

Vic goes to see his daughter:

“You have been thinking about your mother, haven’t you? At this moment, mom has to rest. It won’t be long until she comes to visit you. Your mother loves you very much.”

Luk walks over and informs Vic that his daughter is healthy enough to be release from the incubator.

Vic is ecstatic because he will have the opportunity to hug her tight for the first time.

Vic takes their daughter to see Aoey.

Vic:“This is your mother. Is she not beautiful? Her eyes are big, her nose is pointy, just like yours. “

He looks over at Aoey.

“This is our daughter, she is very adorable and very precious. Do you want to hold her?”

He gets no response from Aoey.

VIC:”I have named her Kong-Kwan because she was very premature, if it was another baby, it would not have survived. Our child is strong just like her mother. She is the most important gift for us. I want you to open your eyes to see our child. Then our child will be able to see the most beautiful mother on earth, with the biggest heart and sweetest heart. For you, you will be able to see the most adorable child on earth, the strongest child on earth, the child with the most endurance and the child with the best smile on earth. ”

NOTE: In Thai, “Kong-Kwan” means present/gift.

Vic glances up at Aoey and said,

“You probably want to see your child’s face now, huh?”

To his surprise, Aoey has open her eyes.

Vic:“Aoey, you’re awake now. I’m the happiest person on earth.”

He looks at his daugther.

“Kong-Kwan, your mother has woken up. Aoey, this our daughter, Kong-Kwan. ”

To his disappointment, Aoey is still unresponsive. AWWww….this is so brutal.

Vic cries excessively.

Aoey is released from the hospital.

As she laying on the couch, Aoey starts drooling. Vic rushes to her side to wipe the drool away. Then the baby starts crying. Guy Gay Pat tries to calm the baby down to no avail

Vic takes the baby from Gay Guy Pat and the baby calms down. Menie watches Vic in pity.

Menie looks over at Luk: “I truly feel pity for Vic. Kong-Kwan is still very young and Aoey can’t help herself and she can’t even remember Vic. Like this, how will their family turn out? If it was me, I would go crazy— to carry such a heavy burden.”

Vic walks over to her and tells her:

“Thank you, Menie for being concern about me. Please don’t pity me. This is not a burden, it’s rather a responsibility for a father to a child and a good spouse to his spouse. Another thing, in regards to everything I’m more than willing to take on the responsibility.”

Menie gives him a sympathy nod and Vic walks over to Aoey. He kisses her hand and holds his daughter close.

Eww….Jetsuda catches Torfan and Wood together in bed.

Torfan wants to take the responsibility for their misdeed and pleads with Jetsuda.

Torfan:”Please don’t do anything to Wood, I accept responsibility for this mistake.”

Jetsuda lashes out at her and corrects her,

“Huh? Why would I harm the person I love, it’s you who will be hurt.”

He slaps and starts choking her. Wood tries to calm him down.

Jetsuda jumps off the bed and confronts Wood.

Jetsuda:To be with me, aren’t you happy? Why must you find enjoyment with something so rotten like that?” Jetsuda is so WEIRD!

Wood:“It’s not like that, I just used her for an occasional enjoyment that’s all.”

–What in the hell is wrong with these people! Lets just hope they used a condom.

At this point, Torfan erupts with anger, she thought he really liked her.

Torfan starts hitting Wood and Jetsuda intervenes.

Jetsuda:“How dare you! How dare you hit someone that is my!”

Wood taps on him on the shoulder and said, “I’ve tried to chase away, but she refuses to leave.”

Jetsuda kicks Torfan out and promises to ruin her career.

He comes back into the room and looks at Wood. Wood quickly puts on his pants and buttons it, like he feared something bad was going to happen to his rear end. It was really bizarre.

Wood comes off as a prison bitch that everyone likes to pass around. Ew! So gross!

Vic decides to move Aoey and their daughter to the island.

On the patio rock area overlooking the ocean, Vic hopes for happiness for his family.

Vic:“Aoey, this our home. Do you remember that we used to share our lives here? Though it was a short time, we were very happy together.”

Vic takes her hand and said,

“From this day forth, we will be happy like the past. Right now, we will be happier than before because we have Kong-Kwan with us, our daughter Aoey.”

I’m assuming it that day, Vic cries as he is washing Aoey’s hair. She is unresponsive to him and he begins to feel the weight of her mental state.

This is so depressing!!!

That night, Vic takes Aoey to the spot to watch the two moons.

Vic:“Though today is a dark day and there is no moon; however, it still beautiful everyday because I have you. One day, you will return to me like before. We will return here to watch the moons together and smile at each other. I will wait for that day. The day when the moon is full again.”

Vic kisses her forehead and holds her tight. He cries and hugs her tighter.

OY! Again, this is so depressing.
