It was just recently revealed that singer Aof Pongsak collects Blythe dolls, you know those crazy Gothic looking dolls with the big eyes that look like they are about to come alive and poke your eye out with a pencil. Kinda creepy. Well, Aof doesn’t follow my sentiments, he finds them “narak” or cute. His older sister brought him one and he became hooked. Aof has a collection of 40 Blythe dolls and the highest he paid for one was 10,000 Baht ($230 USD). Good god, for a doll? Aof argues that men can play with dolls too and it doesn’t mean they’re gay. According to Aof, at www.blythethailand.com, there are a lot of Blythe doll purchases by men, he doesn’t find it strange at all.
Don’t look at me Dolls! Oh my gosh, they are so creepy. I’ve never been a doll or Barbie person, when I was little, I only played with teddy bears.
Currently, collecting Blythe dolls is a major trend in Thailand.

yup, cecilia…i agree they look like Bratz dolls…which have been deemed a cause of young girls having low self esteem…idk…don’t ask me why…just saw it in the news…but these dolls do look like Bratz and boy, do they creep me out…you know i’m not a doll person either, but oddly enough i keep getting them as presents…ok, like 3 or 4…but nothing as weird as these dolls…just like lyn said…”whatever floats your boat”…:D

Those dolls are totally creepy. They remind me of chucky. Lets pray his dolls eyes don’t go red and goes on a killing spree. It’s freaky, just imagine if it could talk. “I love you” gosh it’s so frightning to think about.

they are like BRATZ here in the US .. i don’t’ like BRATZ b/c they have big funny ugly eyes .. BLYTHES dolls, however, looks cute with them big round eyes, makes me wanna get one too b/c i collect them pretty dolls as well but looking at the price, i’ll pass.

OMG they lyk look kool if u ignore dere creepy eyes but i hate these dolls n porcelain dolls n those ventriloquist dolls those things scare the crap outta me.
I like Blythe dolls. At least they are preferable to Barbie dolls … to me anyway. I suppose you would be creeped out to know my handphone case is a Nightmare Before Xmas coffin? LOL.
