Apologize or else!
Petchthai Wongkamlao aka Mum Jokmok is not happy with the cast of “Saranae Hao Peng”, a new reality themed movie, kinda like MTV’s Punk’d or Candid Cameras, a pranking show made into a full scale movie. Mum was one of the stars pranked. Like the TV show, the film is hosted by Will McIntosh, Hoi, and Ple Nakorn. Also, they are thhe executive producers for the film. It’s jointly financed by Hoi and Ple’s company Luck Films and Sahamongkol International.
Mum was lured by Willy, Hoi, and Ple to do a public announcement/ commercial called, “Mao Mai Kap (Don’t Drink and Drive)”. Really he was there to do a segment for the film “Saranae Hao Peng”. As part of the gag, Mum rides a motorcycle to a shop and pretends to drinks alcohol. In a drunkard stupor he is suppose to pick up a taxi home, part of the whole drinking responsibly thing. At this point, everything is fine, nothing out of the ordinary.
Then as his taxi is passing several propane tanks, 10 propane tanks are set to explode, which scares the living bananas out Mum, who is a self-proclaimed fraidy cat. He assumed they were his friends and knew of his fears, they shouldn’t have done that, Mum told reporters. Normally, when his films are doing an action segment or some sort of James Bond type stunt, Mum usually gets a stand in or a stunt man to do them.
When he got out of the taxi and saw Ple, Willy, and Hoi walking out and laughing, he didn’t find it funny at all. He immediately left. Mum agrees it isn’t a big issue, it’s more of a bruised feeling issue. If the 3 men: Willy, Hoi, and Ple, do not come and apologize to him, he is going to sue.
The incident scared him because he has his family to consider. What if it went wrong, how will it affect his family?

mean, yea, it’s a joke/prank that’s suppose to be
funny. but i don’t find it funny either. with gas
tanks exploding?? that’s freakin’ dangerous! you
don’t see ashton kutcher doin’ pranks like that!
i agree, wat if something did happen or go wrong?
they say don’t play with fire, so i think that
prank went wayy off. He does deserve an apology.

I know that it’s the movie is suppose to be funny and everything, but that’s seems so harsh what happened to Mum. I would scared out of my mind if that happened to me. Especially if they are his friends too, at least they should apologize.

Anonymous, you’re too funny! Yes it was a cruel joke. Nothing like Punk’d or Candid camera. They should apologize to Mum. But sueing is kind of absurd too.

The salanae host are doing to much but why Thai people(famous people)love to sue other. when they get into a problem, they said I will sue them

I love candid camera shows, however.. everything needs balance and limits. Pranks that involve fear should not be done. As far as suing, I think that’s going too far though.

it’s a prank gone too far…suing is kinda too much,at least in my opinion but then i wasn’t the one pranked

lol the guys warned them already…lol they even had the list of ppl on the poster..anyways yeah i guess it was a bit too much but i’m sure we’ll watch it and laugh..tis one isn’t as bad as the guy who thought he was going to be hit by a train..lol i swear i would have pee in my pants..and he didn’t even do anything about it..
but hey the guy deserves a apology
