It’s my BMW

[Janie at the Barista Championship 2009 in Bangkok, a few days ago--March 11]

The thing that amuses me about Janie Tienposuwan is that she denies everything, everything is “mai mee ka” (loosely translated to “there is nothing of the sort” or “it’s not like that” depending on the sentence structure). If Janie was standing in front of a burning building while giving an interview, she would probably say, “Oh mai mee ka, mai me fai ka, jing jing (No, there is nothing, there is no fire, really)”. I’m not dissing her, it’s just her interview technique.

This strategy is very different from Tangmoe Pattarathida of Ch7, Jane’s rival, who is brutally blunt about everything, Janie just brushes everything off like it’s nothing. Compared to Ken Theeradeth or Anne Thongprasom, Miss Janie rarely receives positive coverage on her personal life–she is either feuding with another nang’ek, stealing another girl’s boyfriend, or she is portrayed as a greedy mofo. The occasionally emergence of doctored sex photos and videos of her probably doesn’t help her sanity either. Of courses, she brushes everything off and keeps on trucking like nothing fazes her.

In the latest bit about Janie, she is still seeing young high society kid “HIM” Itthipat Jinsukprasayrit. Yes, his name is “HIM” and it’s not a spelling error. Miss Janie “Scandal Prone” Tienposuwan was sighted driving Him’s BMW, of course she denied it and claimed she was driving her own car.

Reporter:”Are you seeing anyone at the moment?”

Janie:”No, I’m not.”

Reporter:“There is news of high-society men courting you. Is that true?”

Janie:“There is nothing of the sort, no high society men are courting me, I don’t even see anyone as much anymore.”

Reporter: “There is news of you using Him’s car (a BMW).”

Janie:“Everything is mine, I also have a BMW.”

Reporter:“Are you still talking to Him?”

Janie:“Talking to him as a friend, but I don’t know about the future.”

[ Interesting. Janie was just caught in a lie, before she denied ever having any type of relationship with Him. He was just a friend of a friend, she told reporters a while back. Now, she is hinting of a relationship. Something smells fishy.]

Reporter:“Someone saw him picking you up and dropping you off.”

Janie:“There is nothing of the sort, I film lakorns 7 days a week, I drive there myself, no one drops me off.

[At this point, the reporters start becoming a little sneaky with their questions. If you're not a trained celebrity, you can easily admit to something you had not plan to reveal. Thai reporters are GOOD! They are a sneaky bunch.]

Reporter:”What’s the color of your car?”

Janie:”White, don’t forget to notice.”

Reporter:”Can you consider your relationship with Him, still in the “testing” stage?

Janie:“It’s better to call us just friends. In my life, he is just a friend. Lets just say at this moment, I’m not ready to have a relationship with anyone other than a friend relationship.”

Reporter:“Other than Him, is there anyone else you’re seeing?”

Janie:“No, there isn’t. At this this moment, no one is coming into my life”

Reporter:“Are you specifically close with anyone?”

Janie:“No, not with anyone, I’m just close to myself.”

Reporter:“Right now, do you talk to Him privately?”

Janie:”No, I just talk to myself, I’m not talking to anyone.”

HAHA, did you guys notice, they were asking her the same question over and over again, hoping for a slip up? They kept back tracking and re-wording their sentence to bait Janie. I love Thai reporters, they’re a sneaky bunch.
