Many of you were mad crazy curious about Oh’s fiance, well here he is in all his doofy glory, he seems like a nice guy. His full name is “Fiat” Matukorn Potwangot, he is 37 years old, and an heir to a jewelry shop. They plan to marry on May 22, 2009 at the Oriental Hotel in Bangkok. They’re honeymooning in Italy. The thing that she likes most about him is that he respects her and stands by her through the tough times. There was a lot of talk about her dowry being 10 million baht ($277,060 USD), Oh is still baffled as to how the news got out. Even she doesn’t know. Marriage is about love and dowry is up for the elders to negotiate, she told reporters. After the wedding, she plans to quickly start a family. The woman is 32, I could understand why.
I was very surprise by this, I found out at Manager News website, Oh used to date “Tik” Jesadaporn Pholdee back in the day. Now it makes me curious as to why they broke up. It must have been at the beginning of her career, 10 odd years ago.
Oh’s fiance isn’t all that bad-looking, considering some of those other guys (who aren’t in the industry) that other celebrities date. He seems nice, and Oh seems really happy, so congratulations to her!
Gosh, I’m really going to miss seeing Oh on-screen though; from her statement that she’s eager to start a family, it seems reasonable to assume that she will be leaving the industry after her marriage. Oh is one of the best n’rais in the industry, yet it’s such a shame that her generation of n’rais is gradually fading; she’s one of the few left.
