Phubordee discovers Toonkla at the daycare center located at the hospital. Toonlka fell down from a stool  while trying to reach for a balloon for a deaf girl named “Som”. He fell and hit his head on a table; Phubordee, who was there to check in on his mother, happened to pass the daycare center when it happened and  witnessed the whole thing. Instantly, he felt a connection with Toonkla because the kid is a replica of Prawat as a child.

When he leaves to get a nurse, Oranicha comes in to check on Toonkla. When he returns, he sees Oranicha with Toonkla, he hears Toonkla calling her “Mae Ni (meaning mother Ni)”, Phubordee realizes Toonkla is the child he has been searching for.

That night, Phubordee follows Oranicha home. While she is busying herself preparing Toonkla’s bath, Phubordee lures Toonkla outside, he gives Toonkla a gift. When she hears her nephew talking to someone, Oranicha becomes a little worried and rushes to find him. When she sees Phubordee, she is stunned. She tells Toonkla to go back into the house, shower, and go to bed.

Phubordee smirks at Oranicha when he sees her because he knows he has her in check, Oranicha lies that Toonkla is her biological son and yelled at him to leave. Phubordee laughs at her and accuses her of having an affair with Prawat.

“Hey if he is really your child, you should answer me one question, why does Toonkla look so much like Prawat as a child? If it did happened naturally, it means you had an affair with your own brother-in-law.” He points at her.

Oranicha’s mouth literally dropped and she slapped his hand down. She called him a low-down bastard and accused him of having a sick mind. She drops a tear and Phubordee grabs her.

“Then answer me, why does that kid look so much like Prawat when he was a child and why do you have to runaway rfom me, why? I want your answers to be reasonable because I’m not a stupid man.” He told her.

They looked at each other briefly and then she pushed him away.

“I don’t need to tell you anything, go away and never return because I don’t want you here.” She shouts at him. She goes and gets his gifts for Toonkla; she throws them at his feet and said, “you can take these with you because I don’t want them near my child.”

Phubordee told her he was fine with leaving and he doesn’t have problem as long as she agrees for a DNA test. If Toonkla is really her child and not Prawat and Oranee’s child, it shouldn’t be problem. Oranicha doesn’t agree and shouts at him, “Stop interfering with my child.”

Phubordee gives her a stern look and said, “If you don’t meet me tomorrow at the hospital, I’ll see you at court.”

He walks out and turns back to look at her. They do a mini stare down before Phubordee gets into his car.

A couple of days later, taking advice from Tawee, Oranicha finds her guardianship documents and confronts Phubordee with it. She might not be Toonkla biological mother, but she is legally his guardian.

Oranicha:”After my sister gave birth, my father signed the guardianship papers, after my sister died, he passed the responsibility to me, in that case, I have every legal right to care for that child!”

Phubordee challenges her back: “If you have legal rights or not, the courts will decide.”

“Go ahead, if you want to take it to court, do it. I also want to know what the courts will do, once they know you were the reason behind Prawat and Oranee’s death. Will the courts side with you and let Toonkla live with a despicable man, a man with a black heart, a selfish man and a man with bad morals like you.” She fires back at him.

Oranicha then accuse Khun Sumon of being insane and unstable to raise a child. If Phubordee does anything to provoke her, Oranicha will tell the media about his mother’s insanity issues and ruins his family’s name.

She smirks at him and he glares at her back. He steps back and defeatedly told her, “Don’t involve my mother.”

“Then, you should stop involving yourself with Toonkla.” Oranicha replied.

“If not, I will tell everyone about your family’s secrets.” She continued.

Phubordee turns to look at her and asked, “are you threating me?”

Oranicha:”This is not a threat, I will do it for real. Don’t go near Toonkla or else your family will be the topic of gossip  in the community.”

She leaves and Phubordee wipes his brow in distress. He shakes his head in disbelief.

By the end of the episode, Tawee recruits Phubordee’s father for help. Tawee believes that Oranicha should have custody of Toonkla because she loves him the most. Phubordee wants Toonlka because he is a replacement for Prawat. It’s not love, it’s selfishness. Tawee wants Phubordee’s father to make him his personal lawyer, he wants to relinquish his responsibility to the company and Phubordee.

When his father tells him about the position change, Phubordee doesn’t understand the logic behind it. If Tawee is the company’s lawyer, his father can still order him around.

His father tells him, there is a difference. If Tawee is his personal lawyer, no one else can give Tawee commands except him, meaning, when Tawee is the lawyer for the company, Phubordee is technically his boss along with everyone else in Phubordee family’s. Making Tawee a personal lawyer to Phubordee’s father limits his obligations to Phubordee.

Ahh..by the end, Phubordee understand why. He is pissed. Now Tawee is one of his obstacles he can’t control.
