6th Annual Chalermthai Awards

Pantip’s 6th annual Chalermathai Movie Awards, winners are selected by popular vote from members of Pantip forum. The event was held today at the Paragon Cineplex.

Winners:
Best Song-”Fan, Wan, Ai, Joop” from “Fan, Wan, Ai, Joop (Dream, Sweet, Shy, Kiss)”
Best Script- “Got (Hug aka Handle me with Care)”
Best Actor: Ananda Everingham for “Happy Birthday”
Best Actress: Yanin “Jeeja” Vismistananda for “Chocolate”
Best Supporting Actress: “Ploy” Cherman Boonyasak for “4 Praeng (4 Junctions)
Best Supporting Actor: “Vaan” Ratchu Surajaras for Hormones
Best Director: Pongpat Wachirabunjong for “Happy Birthday”
Film of the Year:“Got (Hug aka Handle me with Care)”

Ananda was a no-show again. I love you Ananda, come out and play once in a while.

Joy Rinalee’s interview with TV-Inside magazine

You don’t hear much about Joy Rinalee, nang’rai from “Jamleuy Ruk (Defendant of Love)”. She does her thing, model on the side, film lakorns quietly. When it’s time to promote her lakorn, she promotes. No fuss, no drama. Very discrete. Even in this interview she doesn’t disclose much. Rather than giving a concise answer about her love life, she diverts the question by saying there are different types of love, a relationship love between a man and woman is not important as other types of love–friend love, family love, love for work are more important. Younger actresses should learn a thing or two from Joy about keeping their personal life private. Being private gives you longevity in this business.
