Don’t even look at me weirdly, I don’t watch porn. Nothing wrong with porn, it’s just not my thing.
Here is the explanation from TINA, my web hosting provider:
June 2: “I’m sorry, it’s all my fault. The thing is that someone that was using the same server as ours.. since it’s reseller someone else that has no affiliation with our site at all had pirated out of all things porn this caused our site to be knocked off too because we happen to have the same server IP.
It’s nothing we’ve done, it’s the idiots on the same server as us. Boo!”
June 4
Update: “The host said they will fix everything for us free of charge and they will not charge us monthly billing for 6 months. One of the person’s in billing/support turned off our account on accident because of the (porn incident) and right now they are working on restoring our ip. They say it may take a few days though because of workload and it takes 24-48 hours to restore it. We will also be getting a private ip, meaning we’ll never have to worry about this happening again.”
Yahoo, FREE stuff! So there you have it, the reason why I ♥ lakorns was down. It was because of PORN, I had a good laugh! It was nothing big, we’re okay now. Hopefully I can keep this site running smoothly for a long time. If not, I have some of it backed up.
