I’m not surprise, Ch7 always dominate when it comes to TV ratings. This week and last was no different.
I remember a while back when I did a post about TV ratings in May, someone wrote in the comment section, who did the ratings? They couldn’t believe Ch3 was lagging behind Ch7. I’m sorry ladies, I don’t make these numbers up. They are professionally done by AGB Nielsen Media Research company, the same company that monitor TV viewership for American TV shows. This is legit as can be. No errors, Thais watch more Ch7 lakorns than any other channels’.
In terms of quality, I think Ch3, Modern 9, and Ch5 dominates. In terms of dialog and story, Ch7 knows their targeted audience, they use more slang, more everyday lingo. I have to say the dialog is very colorful compared to Ch3 and Ch5. Very informal. Very everyday.
I found Tawin and Pinky’s lakorn “Dew Palace” to be extremely dull, but yet it pulled in high TV ratings. Shrugs, how did that happen?

People, just because you think a certain lakorn is better than another doesn’t mean it is. Opinions are opinions, they aren’t facts. People just have different tastes.

Just accept the truth that ch7 will always usually dominate the rating system. Seriously take a breather people. Like C said, just because we like the lakorn it doesn’t mean everyone will like it too. Okay, so we have established something though, people oversea desire more of ch3 than ch7, that might be sort of on the true side but again not technically 100% true. And some of you make it out that all ch7 lakorns are bad, some are actually very good with good plot, actresses/actors, and good script.

let me tell u what ppl in the states prefer! 3 is the best and I love their dramas. good story line and great actor/ess. nothing dramatic or unrealistic like 7 and 5.
well that unfair ch3′s movies are better than ch7 well at least thats only my opinion.but i have noticed that ch3 is remaking most of ch7′s lakorns for instance jam loey rak, vanida, ban saithong and many others i guess they don’t have time to write more stories.

It all has to do with preference. People out in the country probably prefer Sao 5 to Yok Lai Mek. Just because we like it doesn’t mean it’s better. As for suggesting that Khun Deang bribing the rating company, are you guys serious or just jealousy talking? Wouldn’t you think that if Khun Deang can bribe then don’t you think Khun Prawit or Khun Boyd would too? Everyone wants high ratings cus that means more sponsors and more sponsors mean more money coming in so I would think Ch3 would go all out too if they can be bribe.
what the freak? sao 5 has better ratings than yok lai mek? haha man i can’t believe that cuz yok lai mek is better than it a thousand times! yeah i think that khun dang girl is doing the dirty deed behind this. but whatever i don’t give a damn about the rating ch.3 is still better to me.
ch. 7 is so stupid they keep on dragging their lakorns and their lakorns are so nam nao. they have some non prime time lakorns that i don’t even think people watch haha…
some goes for ch. 5 both boring, drag, and nam nao. and they’re always using the same technique to try to pull in more viewers which is so overdone like ending the episode with a scene which makes u think a secret is going to reveal but won’t. it’s so stupid i’m tired of it.
You know what bugs me in some, I mean most of the lakorns? That the girl always gets dragged by the guy + there are some that rape + I hate it when the girl acts too too weak and all goody shoes.
Rape! Imprison that guy! And when he rapes her she’s ashamed or something or loves(yeah right) him or something. Geesh what’s up with the lakorn maker, that’s not romantic! If that was my sister(God no) I would shit on his face… well not literally but you know.

Wait, which awards are you guys talking about? Star Entertainment? Because you guys do know that Star Entertainment is sponsored by ch 3 right? Like how Mekhala is sponsored by ch 7. The only awards that I find trustworthy are awards like Dara Daily, 9 entertainment, Tvpool and ect. But I do agree that Ch 3 has the better lakorns and the better actors and actresses.
Well din nam lom fai wasn’t that far off from wang num kang until the that took off toward the ending. Once again Pancake is reigning supreme despite all these people hating her. Ch 5′s rating isn’t a surprised cus that lakorn is so stupid.
Not surprise, look at ch3 lakorn like Bie and Aff lakorn, it’s really stupid with the losing memory thing, it’s to “nam nao”.
thats funny…. right now CH3 dont really have good lakorns airing except Rome and Janie and Bie and Aff…. but after that it sucks…. but i hope that when NAMTARN MAI airs it would have high rating….. lol………. CH7 has a lot of fighting ones, well actually actions one and thats why there having high ratings…..
