What is up with Asian people in general with light skin? Being light represents purity, honesty and is aesthetically preferable. I personally prefer my men well-tanned, glowing and dark. I’m not a fan of light skin, I’m not saying there is anything wrong with having light complexion, but forcing yourself to be light by avoiding the sun or thinking about getting whitening injections, clearly that is not healthy. Come on people, embrace your skin complexion whatever shade it may be.
Ch3′s Great Warintorn is one of those dark skinned actors who is trying to be lighter. In the past, Great even thought of getting whitening injections. Smartly, after researching, he opted not to because of the side effects.
Lately, Great is making an effort to avoid the sun, taking lots of vitamins, and wearing a lot of sunscreen to lighten his skin complexion. I’m happy he is taking good care of his skin but the motivation behind it is not to my liking.
Him and Weir should become friends.

I always wanted my light skin complexion back but I won’t be getting it back (Wish I was 5 years old again where I had my light fair complexion) I tried to avoid the sun before but I just can’t. I love the outdoor! I need sun! I don’t mind being tan at all but you know I just wish to have light skin =D Kind of odd eh? lol

The amount of chemicals you would have to take would kill you before you reach halfway.Michel had Vitiligo an autoimmun sickness where the imunsystem attacks your pigment and “eats” it up. What he did was, he bleached the spots that was left on his face and arms after the Vitiligo had run its course so he would’nt look like a dalmatien. search youtube with the words Vitiligo and Michel jackson and you will get tons of picture proof where the bodymakeup have vanished showing the Vitiligo.

well, i spent a day out in the sun with no sunscreen lotion, wearing just a hat, white shirt, brown short and a thong shoe — by the end of the day, i’m dark as heck and have suntan marks on my feets. LOl .. so i can see why he’s avoiding it ..
he’s a good looking guy and he looks good w/ color. but what he’s doing is ridiculous.
the ideal beauty standard in asia is white skin. it’s been like that for centuries. i wished that they would just stop and embrace their true skin complexion.

I think that human is kind of weird….cuz The white people try to get tanned while asian (who are tanner than caucasion) always want to be lighter…..lol
You know how actors/actresses are. They go extreme when it comes to their looks. I guess their looks is their ticket to getting a job and making money. Still it’s crazy…whack to avoid the sun. I love my sunny california weather!
