Hours of Operation (Eastern Time) -Early afternoon
-Midnight

I feel like I'm so behind. I had plans to write the summary to Cherry and Chakrit's lakorn "Beyond Comparison" airing this Tuesday, March 16.

Then there is the Rita and Aun lakorn airing on March 18. Oy, I need to make time for that.

Guess who? They really take after their father!

Hey Maury Provich, no need for a DNA test, these are his kids! HAHA. Oh good gosh! His kids really take after him, especially his son Mick. Little Mick is a duplicate of his father, from the eyes to the nose and even his body stature.

The man in question is director and comedian Mum Jokmok aka Petchthai Wongkamlao at the opening ceremony of his new movie, “Yam Yasothon 2 (eng title: Hello, Yasothon 2)” two days ago. The film is financed by Sahamongkol Film International and Mum is the director. Mum casted this two children, his son Mick probably for a minor role and his daughter Em Busarakham for the female lead role with rocker of Tattoo Color, “Dim” Harin Suthamjaras as her pra’ek.

Beside his two children, Mum also casted his nephew “Gof” Jon Wongkamlao, the son of his sister, comedian Waeowao Jokmok. Pretty much his whole family is in this movie.

Good golly Mick, what’s up with the hip-hop get-up. Kids that dress like him, I seriously want to beat up.

Dim and Em, our leading couple.

There is even a commercial about how much they look like Mum for Voiz cookies.

Mum is in the pool, his daughter Em and son Mick come to ask him a question.
Em: “Dad, between me and Mick, who looks more like you?”
Mum: “Why do you ask?”
Em: “We agreed, who ever looks more like you will get to eat Voiz.”
Mum: “Honey, I can’t decide, you both look good.”

They all start laughing and Mum submerges himself and his children says, “ow?”

Thanks Nun for the tip!!! :)

I’ve heard both kids were schooled in Canada.

Is Mick the same boy from “Power Kids”, filmed a couple of years ago but not released until early this year?

Good to know that Yam Yasothon 2 is really happening. I enjoyed the first one immensely, which is weird because I ordinarily don’t “get” Thai comedies.

Still have to see Wongkamlao, which is in Thai cinemas now. I’ve been hearing mixed things about it, so it might turn out to be great.
