Imageshack has been hacked
Oh this is frustrating. My blog has grown a lot these past few months, thus to save bandwidth, I have to outsource my images to imageshack. I have close to 8,000 pictures uploaded and now imageshack has been hacked. Though the hackers say no images have been harmed during this process, meaning no images have been deleted, checking my account today, I realized I have lost 40% of my images. OH good golly, some pictures were personally combined and edited by me. You can’t just find them anywhere and I have deleted them from my computer. OY!
The month of May, June, and July have been majorly affected.
Tomorrow, I will try to mend each broken image link. Oh god golly, I have 927 posts, there could be hundreds of broken image links.
Starting today, I’m getting an account with Photobucket, not the free kind. Man, I hate spending money. I LOVE imageshack because it was free.

*cries* so that’s what it is. I too turned to imageshack for photo hosting. My blog is totally fucked up now. Fucking bastards. Who the hell does this kind of thing. I just now had to re-upload so many images to my own server. My poor bandwith. Ughh….

I have a imageshake account too, but then I don’t use imageshake, I just use photobucket, I like it much more there. Poor lyn, I hope you are able to get it fixed. Darn those people, who theheck would want to hack an image hosting site? losers!

Omg, I am so sorry to hear that. But why don’t you give tinypic a try: it’s owned by photobucket so it’s really reliable, and you have the same features as imageshack (I believe). And best of all, it was free.

Yea, do you really have to pay for it? I have a free photobucket account, and I’ve been using it for years. And I’m sorry to hear of this tragedy. I understand it’s a real pain in the a**.
