It’s a 5 part in 1 horror flick, starring “Dan” Worawech Danuwong, Marsha Wattanapanich, Nicole Theriault, 16 year old Charlie Trairat, and “Kao” Jirayu Laoonmanee, child actor from Rita and Rome’s lakorn “Gae Roy Ruk (Trace of Love)”. Three well-loved Thai singers and 2 talented child stars, good move. Got me interested.
“5 Junctions (5แพร่ง, 5 Praeng, Phobia 2)” will be release nationwide on September 9, 2009 (09-09-09).
Charlie Trairat’s part is directed by Songyos Sugmakanan, the person who brought us the light horror flick “Dorm” back in 2006, cute coming of age film “Fan Chan (My Girlfriend)”, and most recently the coming of age comedy “Hormones (Pidtermyai Huajai Wawoon)”. All three films, Charlie has had a part in. This will be the 4th time Charlie has worked with director Songyos Sugmakanan.
Charlie’s part in the film involves a road trip gone bad, human trafficking, and murder. I believe Charlie is the one doing all the killings. This part is titled “Backpacker”.
Two unsuspecting backpackers find themselves in a murderous fate when they hitch a ride with Charlie. More pictures here.
Nicole Theriault’s part is directed by Parkpoom Wongpoom of “Shutter” and “Alone”. Nicole’s story involves a mysterious used car. Her part is simply titled, “Used Car”.
I drive a used car, it works fine. Never did anything out of the ordinary. More pictures here.
Directed by Paween Purikijpanya (Body #19), Kao is a little monk for his part in “5 Junctions.”
It ain’t easy being a monk, occasional excursion to the forest to pray alone, somewhat scary.
Marsha is playing herself, her part is directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun. She is at a movie set, strange things start to happen. The end. I’m assuming that is how it will go.
Scenes from Marsha’s part, more pictures here.
Both his legs are broken, he can’t run away. Oh no, something or a person is out to get him. Dan’s part is directed by Thai film producer turned director Visute Poolvoralaks.
Aw. Poor Dan, someone is under his bed and he can’t do anything about it.
Titles of each part.
1. Backpackers
2. Used Car
3. People on Set
4. Thorny Palm tree
5. Shared Room
