Plot:
Weir, in this lakorn, is a grape plantation owner, he has a younger sister played by Tarn Kanya, who falls for Pinky’s boyfriend Pulpat Attapanyapol (Chalee from “Silamanee”). Pulpat impregnates her.
Not wanting Pinky to ruin his sister happiness with Pulpat, Weir makes her his wife. He does this using deception. When they first met, Pinky is very drunk and is drugged by a guy to a hotel to be raped. Weir sees what was happening and saves her. He takes her to his hotel. When she wakes up, she thinks Weir had raped her. Since then, she hates him. Later on, he uses this incident to his advantage and forced her to a force marriage. In their relationship, Weir secretly loves Pinky and teases her as a husband to a wife. Eventually, Pinky learns to forget Pulpat and fall for Weir.

This drama starts with a good plot and sets out with high expectations but around the last few episodes falls short and ends up following the typical thai lakorn pattern of rape, revenge and forgiveness without reason. Most disappointing part of this drama was when Weir’s sensible character turns out to be an idiotic maniac by the end. He is plagued by revenge for several episodes and without justification or proof persecutes his spouse and when the actually culprit is brought to light he brushes aside with forgiveness in the less 5 minutes of screen coverage. That scene was just appalling. At this point, one would seriously have to wonder 1) if he really loved pinky and his sister in the very first place as the drama sets out to be 2) possessed any common sense and 3) wonder about the justice system where the crime is left un-investigated for major part of the drama. It almost seems like Weir’s character in the end trades its behaviour with Pinky’s father. Either way acting is not bad but one thing I really wonder is if there is a any cultural fascination in Thai about falling in love with the abuser?
omg! I agree with you soo much!! The story line was really good than I just lost feelings for it after his sister died. He becomes a crazy maniac, and the story starts to drag…
