The marriage bound cast of “Checkmate”

…on the “Wan Waan Yang Waan Yoo (Everyday you’re still sweet)” show this past Friday.

Yes, they are all marriage bound.

Cee Siwat has been dating the princess of evening lakorns, Amy Klimpatoom for 5 years now, everyone is speculating when they will wed. In 2 years, Cee said. First, he wants to be ordain to pay homage to his parents, then he will marry Amy.

“Por” Nattawut Skidjai, the main pra’ek of “Check Mate”, has been dating Ch7′s resident nang’rai, “Ae” Pornthip Wongkijjanon for 6 years. Continuously, since last year, they have been bombarded with wedding questions. Ae wants to marry, Por is holding it off.

Kelly Thanapat has been with his Ch5 nang’ek Bee Namthip a few years now. There has been talks of wedding bells for them too. I was surprise to know many of you who visit my blog did not know Bee Namthip and Kelly Thanapat were dating. Where have you guys been?

Noon Woranuch is definitely getting married to ‘Todd’ Piti Bhirombhakdi, Singha Beer heir, this year or next. He proposed this past Valentine’s Day at a breast cancer charity event. Right now, things are being squared away for their wedding. I loved how everyone joked that Por needs to go to a breast cancer charity asap, so that he can ask Ae to marry him. Por shake his head ‘no’.

Kelly, Por, and Cee were hilarious on the show, they cracked jokes about their girlfriends’ obsession with high-end purses, they just don’t understand the appeal. Por said, if one of their dogs even sniffed Ae’s purses, she would probably knee it. He demonstrated how she would do it too as a joke.

When it rained, Bee would ask Kelly for his jacket. Instead of using his jacket to cover her head, she used his jacket to wrap her purse up so that it won’t get wet. Then, she would run into the house.

Cee was yelled at by Amy once when he knocked her purse off a table. “This one day, she placed her purse on the table. I came in, carrying a lot of things and didn’t notice it there. I didn’t realize I knocked the purse off. She started shouting at me, ‘what are you doing?’ I felt like I was being accuse of killing someone.”

As each man talked about his experiences with his girlfriend’s obsession with high-end purses, they would each nod “so true.”

Por talked about his girlfriend Ae being a little out there. She has been crazy since the beginning, Cee blurted out. But still Por loves her, he can never get bored around her. He finds the way she gives him presents very amusing. “I was sitting around, then she comes over and asked, ‘don’t you want to open your drawer’. I wonder why do I have to open the drawer? So I opened it. And, she quickly runs away. It was a big box. I unwrapped it. In it is another box. It must be a ring, I thought. I started to unwrap it profusely. It’s another box. It took me forever to get my gift, an iphone.”

Though her characters in lakorns are mostly villains, she is not like that at all. She is very adorable and a woman who loves her family, Por said about his girlfriend. After complimenting Ae, he continued to say she is a little crazy. He comically breaks down, “she is crazy, I  guess I just like crazy women.”

They continued to talk more about Por relationship with Ae and how he buys her the wrong gift during her birthdays. First, they ask the question about what kind of gift he buys Ae. Por starts listing all of the things he has brought for Ae–rings, eatches, and etc. Pa Gik (Daddy Gik), the male host of the show then corrects him. “That’s not true, Khun Ae told me, you brought her health socks.”

And, Por starting roaring with laughter. Por defended himself saying it’s not his style to give her jewelry . If he gave her health socks, it would show he was concern about her, like looking out for her well-beginning. Ae, is one of the co-hosts of “Kanpak (Itching to talk)” on Ch7, I remember watching her complain on the show how much she hated the health sock gift.

Like Por, Cee’s relationship with his girlfriend Amy is very adorable too. We learn from Amy that Cee is a video game addict. He plays video games every chance he gets, even till dawn. He would encourage her to go out shopping or do this or that so that he can have free time to play video games.

We learn Cee owns an island resort. Pretty cool.

When Amy and Cee went traveling together to the island, reporters teased Cee that they went honeymooning together, which is not the case. Apparently, Amy suffers from motion sickness. She vomited throughout their trip. “It wasn’t like a honeymoon at all because she vomited everywhere when we traveled by boat. I would just watch her. When she vomits, because we are a gentleman, we must pat the woman’s back and ask whether she is alright. But if I do it. (Cee  starts to demonstrate, he looks down and Por starts patting his back, he starts to push Por away). I would be confuse. But we have been together for a long time now, I know how she is. A woman there would say, she is vomiting and encourage me to go pat her back and take care of her. But I know not to bother because this girl does not like being touched when she is vomiting…I just watch her. If she has an urge to vomit, she just does it. Once on the boat, instantly, she gets motion sickness.”

Both Noon and Aom Piyada are now engage. Pa Gik asked both ladies what kind of bridal dresses they would like to wear for their own wedding. Before she started working, Aom wanted a elaborate bridal dress. Now, after being a bride in many  lakorns and wearing many wedding dresses for lakrorns and magazine photoshoots, both Noon and Aom said they wanted something simple with no trains. They don’t want their wedding dresses to be stepped on.

During the part where they were showing cute couple pictures of Cee and his gf Any on vacation. Pa Gik asked Por why doesn’t he take ‘sweet’ pictures with Ae. Cee then joked that Por and Ae wouldn’t take pictures like this, they only have pictures going to the temple together. If Por and Ae took pictures together, they would be dress in costumes, Ae in a sailor moon outfit and Por in a superman suit, Cee continued to joke.

Por defended himself,  he does those things but he doesn’t do it in front of the camera. “When I do it, I will never let the camera take a picture, because I will do more than that.” He is suggesting he likes to get frisky with Ae.

After watching the show, I have become a fan of Por Nattawut, the man is downright funny and his gf Ae is hilarious too. When they discuss Por on her show “Kanpak (Itching to talk)”, Ae would ask, ‘isn’t he handsome’ every time.

If he marries Ae, Por will use his current house as their bridal house. Nice house.
