-good gosh, I’m so exhausted, that is what I get for functioning on 3hrs of sleep. I had to get up early this morning, yet I slept at 5am. Nice move, Lyn.
I really wanted to write a post today about Chakrit and his debacle with the PR team of his latest work “Ex-lover” in how they are making him out to be a perv to promote the film, but I’m so tried. There has been news that he fondled or touch one of the female character’s breast during a love scene and something about him getting an erection during the water scene with “Gybzy” Wanida Termthanaporn. Chakrit is outraged. He is so upset, he has even contemplated leaving the Thai entertainment industry to live privately in America. He can’t take anymore of the negative publicity accusing him of being gay, of being a womanizer, and then the promotion of this film. He feels Avant (the production company for the film) and the director are not looking out for his best interest. Who else would generate these news unless the people promoting the film?
The film “Ex-lover” will be out in theaters this Thursday, August 27.

I wished I understood What he was trying to say!!!!! But no matters what happens I still like him as an actor and he looks like a gentleman on screen, and hopefully off screen too.
the media anywhere can be asses! i do think he should go on a hiatus for a while, away from the media and keep out of the public eye so that he can be at peace for once. wish him the best!
Seriously! The press really is demanding and outrageous. Chakrit has been in the industry for so long, and to just think that he may leave it all due to these vicious rumours is ridiculous. I can see why he’s so outraged. What’s with all the conflicting rumours anyways? The press says he’s a womanizer, then they turn and say he’s gay, then they say he’s a womanizer again.
Wow! I completely understand his need to speak out and his outrage because I would be outraged too! How desperate can the people promoting this movie be by resorting to those sort of tactics? How sad is that? They need better marketing ideas.

It’s a movie people, chill. Geez, he’s an actor and if people can’t take him ‘acting’ that’s a shame. If it was sooo bad, why didn’t the Thai sensors take care of it. It’s all a PR stunt and he’s in on it. Don’t forget: he’s a very good actor.
The thing is, Chakrit enjoys working in the industry so he may be upset right now and up to a point of announcing his retirement but in the end, I don’t think he’ll completely go through with a leave. Plus, it’s hard to when he’ll always be a celebrity, he has ties to BKK, once he goes back, reporters/paparazzis are still going to be interested in his daily lifestyle.
I’m glad that Chakrit is speaking out. This is pretty serious. Chakrit makes absolute sense, water does make those type of swimming shorts airy and second, unbuttoning a blouse is around the chest area, everything he did was under the director’s instructions. It’s an exaggeration of how Chakrit fondled Bowie’s breast until it bruised, that’s ridiculous.
Yes, Thai PRs do go to an extreme to promote their movies/lakorns. And lately, they’ve been generating bad rumors to garner attention from the public regardless of who they sacrifice in the end. I hope Chakrit can do a wake up call to those sick PRs.
i think a normal man does feel & react “that” way towards any scantily dressed n sexy woman..it’s the ppl behind the movie that gave the wrong ideas to media & made Chakrit look sinful…!! Then why create those scenes in the first place…hope Chakrit is more careful n selective in future, pls refuse “rough x” scenes…Chakrit is just too obliging and these people took advantage….anyway, Chakrit is still my most fav Thai star…be strong Krit…!!! i am sure good things will come out of this…
