Burnt Sugar: Ep 4 Caps Part 2 Completed

Bow doesn’t pick up his call but Nian calls him. He decides to have coffee with her.

At the coffee shop, they talk about relationships and what type of man Nian prefers.

She likes: older men, a mature man, a confident man, she doesn’t like artist because they are too complicated.

Pretty much Pawan.

Now, Pawan wants to know how her ideal man’s physical features.

She smiles and plays shy. “I like a man who is light, with a good personality, takes good care of himself, and knows how to dress.” —pretty much she is describing Pawan.

Pawan:”What about me?”

Nian:”Though you are joking, but I’m sincere.”

She sips her drink and eyes him. YUCK!

Ae waits in the car as Tao and Bow visits Tao’s mother.

If he wants his inheritance, he must give her a grandchild. Oh no.

“I want to raise a grandchild.”

Tao is shock, he is not ready and Bow is not ready either.

“Let me establish myself first.” He begged.

His mother was not having it. “Establish what, what for? We are wealthy, in this lifetime we can never finish spending our money. Don’t try to fool me. If you two are not ready, that’s fine. I will raise the child for you. I’m old now, no one cares for me anymore. To adopt another person’s child, it is not the same as raising your own flesh and blood. I’m lonely and I want to raise a grandchild. Do you understand me, Tao?”

Tao tries to reason with her. “But we live aboard.”

So what said his mother. “You can come back and give birth in Thailand. Once Bow delivers the child, I will bring the child here to raise. I will not let you have this grandchild for free. I will work with the attorney to divide the inheritance between us. One half for you and Bow and the other half will go to me and my grandchild. This new agreement, do you agree?”

Tao wants a child and begs Bow for one. He will accept the child even if it is not biologically his. “You can have a child with your boyfriend, I can accept it.”

Bow is shocked.

“Why are you thinking too much for? Think of it as doing business together. This project,  you will make a lot. It’s equal to Tao’s. It’s just being pregnant for 9 months.” Ae interjects.

Bow is outraged. “You’re not a woman, you won’t know what is like to be a mother. As for you ,it might just be 9 months, but as for me, it’s not.”

Tao wants her to think about it. If she goes through with it, she will have it easy for the rest of her life. She won’t have to work ever. He begs her again to help him.

Ae:”You married for money before, getting pregnant for money, that won’t be any different.”–this is guy is a douche!

Bow:”But I’m not you.”

Ae:”That’s for sure, if you were me, Tao would like you.”

Knowing that Bow is upset, Tao tries to console her. “Don’t listen to him.”

“It’s just you who is still listening to him.” Bow fires back at him.

She leaves. She doesn’t want to think about his offer she told him as she left.

Shopping and chatting about going to the movies.

Pawan wants to have dinner with Nian, she asked him to get permission from her father first.

Ae suggests Tao giving Bow an offer she can’t refuse. If she gives Tao a child, he will give her a divorce.

blah. blah. Nian playing shy and innocent. It gets old really quick.

After dinner and a friendly chat, Nian walks Pawan to his car. I really can’t stand their scenes. Lets just ignore it.

Going to see the person he really wants, Pawan makes a stop at Bow’s house.

She sees him and ignores him. He calls out for her. “Please don’t leave yet. I want to talk to you.”

What is a guy to do when his girl is ignoring him and a fence is blocking his way, he climbs it.

She walks away, he runs to her and hugs her from the back.

Pawan:”Please don’t do this. We love each other, why must we be cruel to each other?”

He kisses her head. “If you tell me you love your husband, I will back off. But can I ask for one thing, please don’t act as if we don’t know each other, that we have not experience good things between us. Please Bow.”

He turns her around, “please talk to me like a sibling, that would be fine. Please don’t avoid me anymore. That’s all I ask.”

He hugs her more, she hugs him back.

Dude, her mother saw them.

The next day, Bow has documents for Pawan and wants her secretary to deliver it to him. Her secretary said she can’t do it because Pawan had ordered that Bow must deliver the documents herself. Bow is annoyed.

Bow officially meets Nian for the first time at Pawan’s office. She brings the documents and Nian is in Pawan’s office alone. Pawan arrives and sees Bow and smiles. As Bow is excusing herself to leave, Pawan stops her. “I would like your advice on something.”

Nian, who is still in the room, feels tension. She gets the sense something is up between these two.

Pawan’s secretary comes in and takes Nian out.

Pawan tells Bow that Nian is the daughter of a good friend of his.

Bow comments how pretty she is. Pawan takes this opportunity to compliment Bow, ‘she is not as pretty as you.”

Bow:”that’s not true. A woman who is married, how can she compete with the beauty of an unmarried woman. What would you like to talk about?”

Bow becomes annoyed and asked whether this is regarding work. He says no, so she excuses herself. “I have a lot of work, lets talk later.”

He runs in front of her and blocks her. Bow is not please, “a boss and an employee, do they do this to each other?”

“Please don’t complicate matters. Do you know I’m so uneasy, I’m no longer happy. I want everything to end.” She continued.

Pawan:”If you love someone, you will always love them. There is no end, no way to stop their love. Even if they break up and never see each other again.”

After hearing that, she walked out.

Eying the competition, aye? End of episode.
