Pae’s love scene in “Slice”

You have to feel sorry for this poor woman. One, it is her first film. Secondly, it is a love scene, a very graphic one at that. Thirdly, it is with “Pae” Arak Amornsuppasiri and this is their first scene together. Pae’s co-star ‘Jesse’ Jessica Phasaphan wanted to run home crying after she filmed the love scene for their upcoming horror thriller “Slice.” In the film, Jesse plays “Noi”, a young beautician who is married to Tai, Pae’s character.

After he was released from prison, he came to her beauty salon and they had sex together. Jesse described filming for the love scene as nerve wrecking. Like I said earlier, she literally wanted to run home crying.

Jesse:“Noi, is Tai’s wife. She is a beautician. I knew from the beginning that my character will have a love scene. However, I did not think filming would be this realistic and I would have to perform to this extent. That day, I wanted to cry and go home very much. I have never had to play a character like this before. P’Khoma (the director) give me two choices: an undershirt but it will see everything on top or  to wear a tube top–to bare my back just enough. I looked at both options and decided on the tube top because it was safer. I had to keep myself compose and told myself this is just a part of acting. I tried my best. Pae was very lovable during this moment. He did not make me feel uneasy at all.”

Pae pitied his female co-star and praised her for handling the role well.

Pae:“When I came in for filming that day, I didn’t know we were going to film the love scene. P’Khoma probably wanted to create an air of surprise. I accept at that moment, I felt very intense with my character and the love scene. In the film, ‘Noi’ is used as a bargaining point for ‘Tai’. After he was released from prison, he came to see Noi at her beauty salon and they had sex together. As for roles like these, I’m a man, it’s alright. But for a woman, I do feel sympathy for them. I do feel pity for N’Jesse. It was a very intense role. I would have to praise Jesse, she was able to handle it very well.”

The film is opening nationwide in Thailand October 22.

Pae in a love scene, not my cup of tea. But if you like it, it’s still cool. :) HAHA.
