It’s a 5! At least it is doing better than “Jamleuy Gammathep (Cupid’s Defendant)”, Cherry Khemupsorn and Chakrit Yamnam’s lakorn, it’s hovering around 3. Now that is an ouch, dang!
I didn’t think it would be that bad since this is Cherry and Chakrit, big name celebrities in my eyes. But nope, apparently, Thai audiences can not stand “Jamleuy Gammathep (Cupid’s Defendant)”.
Can you handle it? I can. Can you?

Ch5-Ching Chang (Hate): Rating of 6
Ch7-Dok Bua Kao (White Lotus): Rating of 10—Wow, a love scene can do wonders for TV ratings. In episode 4, Pana (New Wongsakorn) and Noot (Poo Praiya) spent the night together willingly.

[Poo and New in White Lotus episode 4]
The kiss before they spent the night together. I like how the pra’ek in this serious very upfront about his feelings and not taking ‘no’ as an answer. He knows the feelings they have for each other is there; however, because of family obligations, she must reject him.
I loved how he came into the room and said, “I’m not leaving, I love you. I know that you love me too!”
Poo, with her unconvincing acting, replied: “are you thinking too highly of yourself? I love Rungsee and you love Khun Noi.”
He approaches her. “With just those comments, you can chase me away. I have already asked Rungsee, he told me himself you don’t love him.”
Noot (Poo):”But I’m not suitable for you. The most suitable person for you is Khun Noi. Please forget me and leave here.”
Pana (New):”But I love you, I can never love another person. Please don’t do this. Please stop hurting ‘us’ by saying you don’t love me.”
She starts to weep and he pulls her in for a hug. In his embrace, she cries, “But it’s impossible. There is just no way.”
Pana:”There is a way, there will be a way. We will be together, I promise.”
He wipes her tears and they kiss. And cue in the theme song and we get the ‘willing’ scene.

New and Jui would have been better leads for the lakorn after all they are also dating now too… I just don’t really like the lead Poo… She is just… Ummm… I know how to explain it but she just doesn’t act very well and it annoys me when I’m watching…
Well I knew from the trailer that Jamleuy Gammathep would be a dud and I was right. It’s not the actors, or directors fault. I blame the writters and the dumba** who thought that it was worthy of showing. NM will do better this week because there is a love scene, a fight is about to begin and aff will be preggers. Yea!!! Why is DBK getting a decent rating storyline stinks and I hate poo’s acting. Poor New I like him hope to see him in a better written lakorn with Pinky.
i agree with mahsuri1284. i don’t care about ratings also and think that it’s overrated. if i love & enjoy watching a certain lakorn & the rating is low, that doesn’t make any different for me in liking it or not. i will continue to watch it no matters what because i like it. that’s how i am feeling for JLK atm. i loved all the scenes of cherry & chakrit. i think they are funny & cute together.
Namtan Mai got burned by Dok Bua Kao. How sad. I love New because he’s a great actor, one of the best from channel 7, but I can’t stand Poo’s acting. I think I would enjoy it a lot more if it was another actress. As for Namtan Mai, I can’t comment because I haven’t seen it yet. I have to agree with everyone about Jumleuy Gammathep though, it’s so childish.
I cannot stand with chamleuy Kammathep. It got big cast but the whole story doesn’t make sense to me at all. the first episode is clumsy, second is trite, third is senseless, forth is annoying.
Personally I don’t really care about ratings. If I like a story even though the ratings are bad, I’ll still watch it. And I’ve also been avoiding hit series even though I’ve read glorious reports about ‘em. Not just lakorns but others too like “Boys Over Flowers” — gosh, I can’t get myself to continue after stopping in the midst of Episode 6. I could hardly see any chemistry between the main couple plus I definitely do not think that the lead guy is THAT hot. I did like the other couple though.
I didn’t expect so low rating for CH3.
And can’t believe Dok Bua Kao has a good rating.
Honestly, none of these lakorn make me want to watch.
Even if I like Aum and Aff, I’m tired to see them together again.
And the theme isn’t really good. Plus Aff just had Prajan See Roong !
But I hope It will do good later by and rating to improve.
I’m happy Prasart Mued is aired because if not I will get bored to death lol.
no surprise…so many of these current lakorns are melodrama or too depressing in some aspects…
JLK is not so good than i though…because big problem here is producer and director are wost …not because of cherry and charit ,they are actting still great and lovely there…i was apreciated a director who made of KaeW TAH PEE & MKKNWan…anyway, hope JLK get better rating next week…because i just love to see cherry’s lakorn …555
