It’s a 5! At least it is doing better than “Jamleuy Gammathep (Cupid’s Defendant)”, Cherry Khemupsorn and Chakrit Yamnam’s lakorn, it’s hovering around 3. Now that is an ouch, dang!
I didn’t think it would be that bad since this is Cherry and Chakrit, big name celebrities in my eyes. But nope, apparently, Thai audiences can not stand “Jamleuy Gammathep (Cupid’s Defendant)”.
Can you handle it? I can. Can you?

Sept 17:
Ch3-Namtan Mai (Burnt Sugar): Rating of 6 —that’s a good sign, it improved
Ch5-Ching Chang (Hate): Rating of 6
Ch7-Dok Bua Kao (White Lotus): Rating of 10—Wow, a love scene can do wonders for TV ratings. In episode 4, Pana (New Wongsakorn) and Noot (Poo Praiya) spent the night together willingly.

[Poo and New in White Lotus episode 4]
The kiss before they spent the night together. I like how the pra’ek in this serious very upfront about his feelings and not taking ‘no’ as an answer. He knows the feelings they have for each other is there; however, because of family obligations, she must reject him.
I loved how he came into the room and said, “I’m not leaving, I love you. I know that you love me too!”
Poo, with her unconvincing acting, replied: “are you thinking too highly of yourself? I love Rungsee and you love Khun Noi.”
He approaches her. “With just those comments, you can chase me away. I have already asked Rungsee, he told me himself you don’t love him.”
Noot (Poo):”But I’m not suitable for you. The most suitable person for you is Khun Noi. Please forget me and leave here.”
Pana (New):”But I love you, I can never love another person. Please don’t do this. Please stop hurting ‘us’ by saying you don’t love me.”
She starts to weep and he pulls her in for a hug. In his embrace, she cries, “But it’s impossible. There is just no way.”
Pana:”There is a way, there will be a way. We will be together, I promise.”
He wipes her tears and they kiss. And cue in the theme song and we get the ‘willing’ scene.

maybe it’s not only me, but i’m starting to get really annoyed with aum. sure, i liked him in jamloeyrak, but everything else afterwards has just really, really flopped for me. half the time i feel like he’s playing the same character! So yes, though my little sister loves aum and is watching NM, i will skip it. i’m dying for a good lakorn now. i haven’t properly watched a good one in ages!
well, the next eps of “Namtan Mai” is the ‘willing’ scene and then perhaps the rating will boost up a bit lmao, just like what happen with “Dok Bua Kao” . But seriously , Thais love cat-fight , so i’m not surprise that Poo’s lakorn receive a higher rating than “Namtan Mai”
lol i’m not surprise by NM too the whole affair theme yeah not working for me even though i like ateam a skip for me and ouch is right for JLK 3 can it get any worse for ch3 Fai Ruk Arsoon i’m suprise ppl love the violent theme i personally was too bother by the 6 ep and the last couple of eps come on
I’m not surprised by Burnt Sugar. They kept promoting it and advertising it which only created more hype and expectations. I have a feeling Burnt Sugar will get better though. The first thing they gotta do is change the one in charge with the music.
As for White Lotus, I’m surprised. It’s Poo! Come on, how could it have such high ratings if the lead actress totally sucks! Oh, wait a minute, it’s a willing scene! LOL! Makes sense… But I still wonder how Poo even got this job!
i dont really like burnt sugar…dont plan on watching it maybe when im hella bored but those who like it…ENJOY!!!!
Wow! that’s crazy! LOL! So what’s the lowest and highest ratings then?? Like what’s the scale?? Because I thought 5 was bad, but you’re saying it’s good. I can’t believe White Lotus got such high ratings. Dang, maybe I should start watching it. lol. I’ve never seen an episode of JLG. I thought it would have been higher since lots of people love Chakrit and Cherry, but I guess not. Ching Chang is dragging like crazy! I can’t believe there’s 53 episode total!
–I think it can go up 50, that’s pretty rare.
10 and up is consider successful. 5 is not good, but at least they are doing better than JLG, 3 is extremely bad, like no one is watching it.

As much as I like Aum and Aff, I’m going to skip Namtarn Mai. The plot is slow and I just don’t like that whole “affair” theme. Sorry ATEAM.
I must admit NM first episode wasn’t that great unlike JLR’s first episode. I hope it will get better and i hope the ratings do too! These past few months ch3′s ratings are horrible compared to ch7!
Personally, I thought Dok Bua Kao is very interesting. Don’t know why people hate Poo so much??? She is okay in this lakorn. I’d think New is the one who keeps people tuning in. He is an eye candy.
Not interested in Burnt Sugar at all.. I might be the one in a million who doesn’t like Aum.
Lome, pretty well. It is a hit.

lyn, do you happen to know the rating for Roy Ruk Roy Barp? That’s my current hobby right now.
Cherry and Chakrit big name celebrities in my eyes, yea only in yours. NObody can stand it, all the above lakorn that are mention suck, fai ruk asoon should have not end
Oh my gosh, KF has not ended. It feels like forever. Their rating has been very consistence that good but I thought it would be in the 20′s because of their fans. Namtan Mai, I don’t blame anyone for such a low rating, although I like the sequence of it, it was not very clear until I watched episode 2, everything seem to have made more sense. There were some scenes in episode 1 that they should have revised. JLK is a big flop lmao… there seems to be no plot and it is overly done lol.
Lyn, Dok Bua Kao is supposedly channel 7. Ching Chang is supposedly channel 5. lol by the way the lakorn is ruined for me by Poo’s inability to act, if only they had another nang ek, I would like it better. Anyways, 7? That is better low for a ch7 lakorn lmao!!!
–Thanks, I corrected it. It was a copy and paste error. —lyn
i like cupid’s defendant very much
love chakrit and cherry
poor Jamleuy Gammathep…hv to compete with Checkmate..
when is Checkmate going to end?
