Cris dances the salsa with Woody

I know very little about Cris Horwang other than the fact that she is the lead actress in “Bangkok Traffic Love story” with Ken Theeradeth. After watching Cris on the Woody’s show, she’s quite amusing. Some things I didn’t know about her:

1. she is a ballet instructor
2. she is a DJ for 104.5 Fat radio
3. a choreographer
4. she works for Chic Channel
5. And of course she is an actress slash model.

Lets just say she is one busy gal.

She started dancing ballet at the age of 5 after watching the film “Flash Dance”. Her father told her the dance type in the film was ballet when actually it was jazz. For 3 years now, she has been dating ‘Oui’ Natee Ekwijit of the Thai rap group Buddha Bless, you know the tall one with dye blonde hair. You can read more about her background here.

Back to the dance…they practiced for 40 minutes then they did it for real. Favorite part, Woody was chasing her up the stairs and got tired, really he wasn’t. It was a shameless plug for Bing soft drink. Tired from running up a flight of stairs, drink Bing soft drink. Voilà! You’re instantly energized.

Khunatum and Mommy!

Khunatum and his mommy “Noi” Bussakorn Pornwannasirivej inside and on the cover of Praew magazine for their October 2009 issue. He seems oblivious to the whole thing. He’s doing his own thing, reading a magazine upside down, holding on to the metal railing for dear life. He’s like ‘mom you work it”, I’ll just chill. He looks average now, when he was born, he weighed 9.4lbs. Big baby.

For someone her age, she looks stunning. She is almost 40.

Aimee is determined to make you believe

Good for her! Aimee has been casted in the upcoming lakorn “Ngao Hua Jai (Reflection of the heart)”, where she will be portraying a factory worker. Some are skeptical about her acting abilities and her appearance. She does not look the part of a factory worker, she looks too high class. But Aimee is determined to make the audience believe. She wants to try something new.

“I have played what you have seen many times now, I want to play someone who is not like me, I have decided to take on this role from the encouragements of the elders and other actors.”

Aimee has frequently played the nang’rai role, the reporters don’t feel confident she can pull off this good girl role, so they asked her: “you have taken up nang’rai roles in the past, do you feel uncomfortable taking on a good person role?”

“It will be okay. I have taken up the good girl role before. It was believable. I will try my best and I have played this type of role before so I know how the role of a factory girl should be played.”

If people don’t like it and find it unbelievable, Aimee is determined to make them believe. “If they don’t believe it, I will make them believe it,” she confidently told the media.

Of course because the topic of relationship is an requirement for most interviews, the reporters asked her about marriage. “Between you and Chompoo Araya, who will marry first?”

“Most recently, we went to an event together, Chom received a bouquet of flowers, so I think it might be Chom more so. Personally, I’m not in a rush. Most recently my mother told me, I don’t have to marry now. When I’m 30+, I can marry.”
