A special viewing of “Bangkok Traffic Love Story”

Yesterday, Ken’s new movie “Bangkok Traffic Love Story or I rode a skytrain to see you” held its special viewing at Central World. Of course, Ken brought his wife Noi as a date to this mini premier. I must say,  they are very adorable together. During the interview with the press, Noi did most of the talking while Ken attentively stand by her side adding tidbits here and there. As she gave her interview, he stared at her like a doting husband. You can watch the interview here. Their dynamic is quite interesting, their movements sync with each other like a true happily married couple.

With the reporters, Noi talked about the film, she liked it. If she wasn’t married, she would like the film much more. Many young women can relate to it. “It’s very watchable. I think young women will like this very much. I have never seen something like this before. After seeing it, it put a smile on my face. He seems pretty excited about it. If you’re not married yet, you would like it,” Noi said to the reporters in support of Ken’s film.

As for returning to acting in lakorns, Noi said not for a while. Reporters asked whether it is because Ken would not allow her to. Noi joked that is not the case at all. “He has given me permission already. At this point, you can say he is chasing me out to go work. Ken can’t handle it anymore, he’s tired. He wants to stay home and raise our child. I have not agreed to anything yet. I’m waiting. If something good appears, I’ll do it.”

Will you two ever do a lakorn together as a couple. In response, they both shook their heads ‘no’ , laughed, and said in unison: “never. We’re tired of seeing each other.” Noi then added, it would be odd.

As for trying for their second child, they are doing it naturally.Unplanned. When it happens, it will happen.

About their son Kunatum, has he reached that naughty stage yet, the reporters asked. “Somewhat,” said Noi. “He knows a lot more and is starting to talk. He can say ‘dad’ but not ‘mom’.”

The reporters then asked Noi whether she felt hurt by it. A little, Noi told the reporters. “He’s with me everyday and he never says ‘mom’. But when his dad comes home, he lights up. He misses his dad. But his first word was ‘milk’  or ‘mum’, something like that. He was cared for by his father that he is why he adores him.”

Ken is very proud that his son can say ‘papa’. In a doting way, Ken said, “he can say it very clearly too.”

On to the film…

According to a person who has seen it, it was good. They give it a 9/10. The film is light-hearted and uncomplicated, it will put a smile on your face. There is always something going on, it’s not a boring film, said the person. And Cris Horwang is convincing as Meylee, the 30 year old spinster. “I must admit, I like Cris Horwang very much. She was excellent, I have never followed her work before. Actually, I don’t even know who she is. I just knew her name. However, she was able to make me love and cheered on the Meylee character throughout the film, ” said a person at Pantip. We’ll see. I have to see the film for myself to decide, which won’t be for another few months.

The film will open nationwide on October 15, 2009.
