Not really, according to Kwan, people just want to generate gossip. Seriously they do, these reporters just want to start up stuff between actors so they can sell newspapers. I’m not a fan of Kwan nor am I a fan of any Thai star, I just watch lakorns. Gossip is gossip and it is usually manipulated by the media in some reporters. I really don’t understand why these reporters are implying Kwan has not been on air lately when her lakorn “Roy Ruk Roy Barp (Trace of love, Trace of Vengeance)” just ended a month ago. I think two or three lakorns per year is more than enough. Overexposure can bore people, you know why people always complain about Pancake because she is constantly on air with endless array of lakorns. Even if I liked her, I would get bored of her. Some have.
Kwan has not been on air consistently like Pancake, so reporters are speculating that the channel elders have put the brakes on Kwan’s work load because her negative press. You know the media hates her. At some event, the reporters asked Kwan where she has been. Why, I don’t know. “I haven’t been anywhere. I can’t just film lakorns on air continuously. Physically, I don’t think I can handle it.” Kwan replied.
We hear that you have gotten a lot of negative press so Khun Daeng has put the brakes on your lakorns.
“I don’t think that is the case, news is always generated, you can’t just sit around and work always. I still have to study too, I’m still a student. I’m not just an actress, I’m two things, they must go together.”
It just seems like your lakorns have decrease and Jakajan Akumsiri has become your replacement. —Yes kiddos, reporters can be vicious.
“I don’t think it has decreased, it’s been the same. It’s just news that someone has written.”
Right now Jakajaan has signed a contract with Ch7, are you afraid it will be too crowded?
“No, I think everyone is a performer, this is their profession. Everyone is here to work because they love this industry. Everyone came here to work because they want to take care of their family. As for others, I don’t know, but for myself, I don’t want to compete with anyone.”
Update us about your love life.
“I only have my friends. My life is so chaotic no one wants to get involve with me. But I’m not lonely, I still have my friends. Regarding matters of the heart, I’ve had enough, I’m looking for alternatives.”
Has anyone showed interest in you?
“I don’t know. I’m unaware of it because I’m constantly on set, meeting people on set, and hanging out with my friends at the house with my parents. I see the same people, so I don’t know. It’s better to shut my ears and eyes.
Is it because of your mother?
“It has nothing to do with my mother, I’m grown now and I’m happy like this.”

i think kwan is great! she’s very beautifull and other are just too blind to not see her talent and beauty. She’s a great actress…i think she deserves better and this ….. i have seen most of her lakorns and they’re great. Kwan should be nang’eh on more lakorns!
Kwan did a good interview. I’m impressed. I guess I’m the only one who can’t stand pancake. Sorry to her fans but I feel that she is fake and not that good with her acting; she’s okay. I would like to see more Bee and Pong pairings they’ve got such great chemistry.
Wow she handled her answers nicely, i am surprised Jakajan seems to be on every channel first Fun Fueng on ch5, then Dung Duang Tawan on ch3 and now ch7. Kwan’s answers were so mature!
I totally agree with the Pancake part. She is on too much which is puzzling, because she’s a good actress..but not the best on ch.7, I guess they only have her on a lot since she brings in good ratings…
On a different note; I love Pinky, but I think this year, she’s been on too much. If she didn’t drop out of Dok Bua Kao then it would have been seeing her back-to-back-to-back; from Dew Palace to Love Rotation to Dok Bua Kao.
I think some of them need to take little breaks or expand the horizon or something because it seems like ch. 7 has limited actors and actresses they can choose from…which is not the case. I think in that way, I like Ch.3 more…I mean, they use the same actors and actresses too, but they have different pairings which make it a little more interesting and their pra’nangs are usually not on back-to-back.
*Side note: I always knew Jakajan was pretty, but I never realized how beautiful she was. And hasn’t she been an actress longer than Kwan? If that were the case, why would Kwan be afraid of her being replaced? Seems kind of dumb to ask her that.
Back on topic: i think Kwan handled that nicely. It seems she’s come a long way from where she used to be. Personally, something about Kwan’s acting annoys me. Kwan has talent, but there’s something about her that makes all of her characters the same which makes her bland to me at times.
I agree with Preaw….Jakajan isn’t like Kob or Aum, but she’s better than the newer generation because there’s an edge she brings to her characters.
Thanks Lyn. You couldn’t have explained it better as to why so many people are so bored of Pancake now. This news is just the same as when they tried to compare Pinky and Pancake, saying that Pinky was considering moving to Ch3 because Pancake was receiving all the work or stealing all of Pinky’s work. Now they’re trying to use the same rumors with Kwan. I’m not a fan of Kwan either, but I don’t think she’s being held back from lakorns. And to be honest, I rather see Kwan any day than seeing Jakajan. To me, Jakajan just isn’t really nang’ek material.

Well… I have to say I like Kwan and so I think the work she has been doing is a good amount andyep it is so true if your face is face on screen people will get bored… Though the comment about Jakajan I’m not sure on… I think she is okay though some areas need a bit more work but over time she will probably get better
