They are copying Madonna and Britney’s VMA kiss
Nothing shocks me anymore. Girl on girl kiss, a guy kissing another guy, kiss threesomes, nudity, vajayjay flashes, nipple slip, really I have seen it all. It has become part of American pop culture, you get use to it. Actually, even before, it has never bothered me. Seeing “Kratae” Supakson Chaimongkol and “Ming” Chalisa Boonkrongsub kissing each other on the Superstar performance stage was nothing. However, others are not amuse.
Comments left at Gossipstar condemned the kiss, it betrays Thai culture, they argued. Some comments were written in English.
“im in america and when britney and madonna were kissing…i dont like that…i dont think its cool and my american friends asked me: why?i said: becuase im thai and thai people dont do something like that.but now…i cant say that no more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! because of this two stupid hoe!”

Majority of the people who wrote in Thai, screamed publicity stunt. They still found it enjoyable.

Superstar: Fantasy world is a talent reality show on Modern 9, it’s like “Dancing with the Stars” but more elaborate. The celebrity contestants are split into 2 teams, they all live and train together for weekly musical numbers on the Superstar performance stage.
It’s an entertaining show, there is a clip of the group having a chat about random things, Kratae was being all serious as to why she wanted to do the show. She felt that people don’t know her well enough. As she is talking, Nicky “The stick” interrupted her. “I’m one of your fans, I have a collection of all your magazine covers. Really, I do.” Everyone starts laughing. Nicky looks over at Mamee, I have a collection of yours also. You don’t see Oil but he is one laughing the loudest.
Nicky does one of Mamee’s poses for the magazine spread, everyone looks at him and they all laugh again. Oil points at Ming, ‘what about her.” Nicky said ‘yes, I have a collection of Ming’s too.” As for Natalie Davis, he has all of her magazine issues. Nicky then points at Aon Sarawut, “I even have a collection of Aon’s.”
The video starts to show several pictures of Aon from some of his sexy magazine spreads.
After that, it got a little serious. Aon said he went to check out pictures of them on a website and read some of the negative comments left there. He felt hurt and angry by the comments. Aon said he doesn’t like to see the people he loves or know be degraded like that.

I do not see it being a serious problem. If you observe carefully, they did not even open their mouth, more like a peck of closed mouth.

In fact, there is nothing really serious but we are in Thailand ! For once, I will agree with public opinion. Thai culture is a traditional culture not like western cultures. They are going too far by doing stuff like that !

The kissing between the two girls is fine. If you watched the video it was like a few pecks of closed lips, like M theatre said. BUT I fine the guy kissing the girl stomach show a bit degrading..the way they dance and all gosh.. it’s like foreplay.

As bad as it is, it could have been worse. I didn’t want to watch the clip, but by looking at the picture, they could have lip-locked, using tongues and everything. Thank goodness it was just pecks. But either way, it’s still GROSS!

From what I’ve noticed in Thai lakorns/entertainment, homosexuality seems to be accepted in Thai society. There seems to be a good representation of gay men (and transvestites) in lakorns/entertainment. So why the uproar with two women kissing?

(while they have real life shows in Patpong and Tiffany’s to show the whole world…)
i like the show but too bad i don’t understand it lol
and Nicky he looks….wow…basically he looks like sh/t…no offense but when i saw the clips i thought like what the hel/ is he taking drugs or what..his face is just…urgh!
