Aff and Songkran chilling it!

Just a few hours ago, “Aff” Taksaorn Paksukcharean and her ‘friend’ Songkran Techanarong were chilling out at the Bonanza Khao Yai resort, Songkran’s ranch resort. Aff went to support Songkran and to attend the Honda sponsored concert there. The media has been very impress with their relationship, it’s moving quite fast, beyond the media’s expectation. Not too long ago, they announced they were seeing each other, now both have met each others’ elders (parents) and Songkran’s family just adores Aff. They love her sweet and proper personality.

At the event, the media noted how Songkran was taking good care and being attentive to Aff.

Kao says he has a girlfriend

This is too precious, Kao has a girlfriend rumor. Of course, he denies it. Kids nowadays, they’re growing up so fast.

“I don’t have one krap, I have never announce that I had one. Just look, I don’t have one. It’s just news. I have never said that I had one. I don’t know also how this news came about. It’s just like other older celebrities who found fame and have news like this. It’s not serious. I can assure you, I’m not talking to anyone, nor am I seeing anyone. (We heard you were going to study aboard?) No, there is nothing of the sort. I don’t know who (laughs), all of my friends are in Thailand, I’m not going aboard. (Have the girls been pursuing you?) No krap, they probably see me as a celebrity and don’t approach. They probably admire me more so. My mother doesn’t mind if I do have a girlfriend, but still wants me to be in boundaries because I’m still a kid. But still, I don’t have one. The thing is this, I don’t have the time to take care of anyone right now.  When I do find that person, it will be at the moment where I can take care of her. (If you have one, will you tell us?) Lets just have her be lovable that’s all. She doesn’t have to be stunning, just a person I can talk to.”—awww too cute, he answered the wrong question near the end. HA.

Do you fear that people might assume you are gay if you don’t have a girlfriend? “No, not at all. I know myself. Whatever they think, the future can verify it. If you are asking me frankly, I can assure you I’m not. (What’s your current project now?) I just finished filming the lakorn, ‘Pee Seua Lae Dok Mai (The Butterfly and the flower)’. Right now, I don’t have any film projects though. Maybe next year.”

Weird, he’s only a kid and they are already asking him about being gay. That is just wrong. Wait until he is older.

Happy Thanksgiving!

My Thanksgiving meal!  Stirred fried crab, steamed crab, green-bean casserole, TURKEY (I made), biscuits, potato buns, corn, smashed potatoes, and gravy.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I’m going to enjoy my meal with my family now. HEHE! :)

My turkey in the center. HA! I know its the shit!

My younger cousins playing game.

Thanksgiving aftermath: The house, partially a mess. The food, nearly all gone, a few biscuits left. The babies all tired out from running up and down the stairs to the basement, to the second floor.

Last night there was 23 of us, 7 left last night (they live in town), 9 will leave by Saturday (They are from Mass), Sunday we will get back to just the 7 of us and everything will go back to normal.

The turkey (Ee! not looking appetizing right now), the living room, what a mess (the babies were playing in there), slick Rick all tired out from running around, one of my twin cousins sleeping on the floor in my room.

Amelia “Amy” Jacobs in a near fatal car accident

Late yesterday night, Amelia “Amy” Jacobs, young star of the currently airing lakorn “Thida Wanorn 2 (The Monkey’s Daughter)” and former Miss Teen Thailand 2006, was in a near fatal car accident along with a guy companion after leaving the Dara Video movie studio in Lat Lum Kaeo.  Amelia dozed off while driving her black Mitsubishi sedan causing the car to violently ram into an electricity post, which completely demolished the front end, and even causing the engine to fall out. She was sent to Siam St. Carlos Hospital in Pathum Thani for care and later moved to the Bumrungrad hospital. Her injuries included bleeding in the brain, broken chin, and injury to the neck. Her conditions is better but still critical.

Aff went to the supermarket, it’s okay

[Aff at the Seventeen magazine awards today]

I guess in Thailand it’s a crime to go grocery shopping with a guy companion in the evening. OH no, the evening! It’s dark and scary! What to do? We’re all adults here (well I am), news like these can be ridiculous.

So Aff went supermarket shopping with Songkran one evening and now it’s “NEWS”. Aff doesn’t sweat it because she did nothing wrong. She finds this all baffling because it’s just shopping at the supermarket. At the Seventeen Magazine Awards today at Central World, Aff gave responses to the news about her.

Firstly, the supermarket incident with Songkran:

“If going to the supermarket, I go there often, I go to several stores. It’s very perplexing, just to go to the supermarket, I made ‘news’. At this moment, it seems like everything I do it becomes an issue (news). The truth is I live my life normally. I eat, I go watch a movie, I go shopping at the supermarket, these are all very normal things. As for the news that I brought things (supplies) for Songkran’s condo, firstly, Songkran doesn’t have a condo. Secondly, everything I do, it becomes a source for news. Just buying things at the supermarket, it became an issue. But it’s okay. If you are doubtful of anything, you can ask me. Perhaps next week I’ll you see me at the supermarket again.” Aff said in a very proper tone. HAHA. Aff is becoming quite a character. I like her. She is sassy and proper at the same time.

Second question, does she fear that people will suspect they are living together because they went shopping together.

Aff forced a smile and answered the question. “Huh…if just shopping together, that means living together-that is probably not right. That’s not even close.  Like I have said, right now, I feel like news are being made up about me. It’s almost like a lakorn.  And, I have been very cautious, I just want to live my life like a normal person. I don’t want to hide because I have done nothing wrong. I don’t feel terrible. I just care about the opinions of people who read this (news about her). Lets just say that if you are suspicious of anything, you can ask me. I’m prepared to answer. I will clear everything.”—Well put, my dearest Aff. You are handling the media quite well. I’m impressed. I didn’t think you had it in you.

Lastly, she dispelled the rumor that she is traveling aboard with Songkran for New Years. She is not. She will be with her family.

“Definitely for New Years, I will be with my family. Because my mother and my younger sister are coming from America. My mother knows about Songkran. Personally, I have never kept secrets from my family. Everything about me, that has happened to me, I tell them (her parents). Songkran has met my parents on my birthday, they didn’t say anything. Right now, I don’t think I would do a couple event with him. People have made offers, but it has nothing to do with money. He works a lot and I work a lot. Right now there are many projects I have to consider. Both in scheduling and whether it fits my character.”

Pol Tanthasatien returns as a villain

[Pol, Son and Grand]

Remember Pol Tanthasatien, that Chinese looking Thai guy who is probably part Chinese, who usually portrayed Thai-Chinese millionaires in popular lakorns back in the late 90s. Yea, he’s back. Of course, not as a pra’ek, dude is old and we, lakorn watchers, are vain and shallow. I’m not ashamed to say that. Actually, I’m just joking. He is back though, AS a villain. DUM DUM DUMMMMMMMMMm!

Pol will be taking on the villain role in that lakorn with the longest title ever, ” Yak Yoot Tawan Wai Tee Plai Fah (Yearning to stop the sunset at the horizon or Yearning to stop time, อยากหยุดตะวันไว้ที่ปลายฟ้า)”, a remake of “Mam” Katreeya McIntosh and Tang Saksit’s 1995 lakorn going by the same name. The modernized version will star Son “Yuk” Songpaisan and singer “Grand” Phanwarot Duaysianklao.

Pol said his role is very villainous, he is portraying a man who sees everyone has his contender, a man who loves no one. Interesting.

“I been away from lakorns for 3 years now to work on my business and to study French cooking. At first, I didn’t read the script. The character I’m playing is Mr. Pon Saratoon. In this lakorn, I’m playing the most villainous character I have ever played in my career, my character loves no one, and only has enemies. There will be some action in this,” said Pol about his new lakorn role.

I swear, they have been delaying this lakorn since October. I remember going to Popcornfor2.com and checking up on the commencement date. First it was October, then it changed to November, then December, January, now it’s February. Originally, I remember 20 episode, then it became 16 episodes, now it’s 50 episodes. I have no idea what’s going on. No doubt, it will change again.

An update on the lakorn for those who understand Thai.
