The news about her friend Mann, not Mann himself. There are pictures online of Kwan being ‘sweet’ with her guy friend Mann. People now suspect it is her new boyfriend.
At the MADD 2010 awards at Central World, Kwan complained to the reporters that she found these types of news annoying because she doesn’t even have a boyfriend.
“This news is absolutely nonsense. To this day, I don’t have a boyfriend, yet continuously there are news like these popping up. I have told you already, everyone is my friend. I like having independent ideas. As for the pictures, it comes out continuously nothing less than one guy, still there is news like this.”
In the pictures, people accused Kwan of being overly ‘sweet’ with her guy friend to which she disagrees. She is sweet with every guy she takes a picture with.
“The pictures are very normal. With every guy, I’m sweet with because everyone is my friend.”
At some point, Kwan became annoyed with the reporters and excused herself.
“I want to excuse myself. This has nothing to do with the event. Other news, can you save it for another event. Is that okay?”
A fan of Kwan found her actions annoying and wrote this at the Manager comment section where the article was published:“I like Kwan na, I watch all her lakorns. However, when she acts pretty but dumb, particular regarding guys. Guy friends na, if they are guys, you shouldn’t press your cheeks together with them. Just do it appropriately. The pictures were a slip up? How is that so when you put it on Facebook, when you knew you were a celebrity, people do look at it. Then you say that person is just your friend. Everyone in the community who sleep together can pass as just friends then. Don’t think that everyone is stupid like you. If you don’t take good care of the pictures, who else will take care of them. Then you make a fuss about it.”
Wow that was harsh. I don’t care about the pictures, I just think she needs to handle the press better. And I thought she was getting better. Guess not.
This guy is also named Mann, are they referring to him? During the Loi Krathong holiday (a Lunar festival holiday) a few weeks, Kwan went out with a few of her friends (both girls and guys, including a guy friend named Mann) to enjoy the festivities .Soon after, pictures of Kwan with her friend Mann appeared on the internet.
Why is that people making suck a big of a deal on Kwan personal life. It just so sad how people have to live accordingly to their status, and they missed the BIG picture of life. If she was only taking pictures with her friends, NO BIG FREAKY DEAL! The BIG DEAL here is if she laid on the street with her legs open to any guys, then yes, your people can make it BIG.
About being annoying about Kwan not answering reporters’ questions. If you were her you would do the same thing, because you don’t want to repeat your self with the same questions. And, i don’t think it is a BIG of a DEAL if she wants to have a B/F!
If she can’t have a B/F then the whole world should just shut down the name of LOVE. Why use it?

She was fed up with the media prying into her personal life. Who wouldn’t? As a famous celebrity in Thai, she’s not allowed to post up FB photos of her and friends? and like someone has mentioned already- is that effing fan even Kwan’s to begin with? Real, true fans stay beside their idols no matter what the scandal/rumor. It’s about loyalty within. If I were such an idiot, like the girl/guy who commented for Kwan’s “rumor”, I would’ve dropped idols like 2PM, Tle, and SNSD already.

I’m not a fan of hers’, but I could understand her. This is the 21st century, not the old fashion way it used to be. Today, guys and women acts like this if they’re good or close friends, and i also agree that pictures CAN DEFILE the TRUTH. but people need to stop jumping to conclusions. There was a time when I took a picture with a good friend of mine and people started suspecting that we’re dating. Come on people, get a life!!

She should be more cautious of how she acts, even though it’s not x-rated but I’m sure young girls look up to her as a role model. And I know how Thai people are very conservative about the image that they want their women to portray. I respect that because I believe that there is a fine line that you can easily cross with the opposite sex. She’s probably just very flirtatious and thinks its all innocent and all. It’s normal to have the opposite sex to be flirtatious around each other without being an item. One of my friends is totally like that and they can’t help themselves because they believe it’s nothing. Oh well, pictures expresses a thousand words and who knows what really is going on?
I’ve seen the photos, they’re nothing. They weren’t kissing, not even cuddling like Aom and Sunny, they were simply cheek to cheek, that’s very normal. And that fan up there, it’s hard to say if she/he is a true fan or not or someone who claimed as a fan but isn’t. I have a brain and I don’t agree on a lot of the things Kwan does but in this particular case, it’s not as bad as the media pours it out to be.
I would be annoyed with the media too. They’ve asked about this issue several times now and Kwan’s answers have all been the same, shouldn’t they stop by now or are they going to keep prying until they get the answers they want?
I think the media likes to tie Kwan’s name with a lot of guys, leaving her to answer all of the rumors, I don’t think she enjoys this attention so I wouldn’t say she’s using this as bait. And I think Kwan always gets her name involved with other guys by the media is because she’s single and not very open about her love life so it gives the media room to create a whole bunch of nonsense rumors. If Kwan came out and published her love life like the rest, I’m sure the media would stop focusing on her guy rumors.
Kwan is just a media drama queen. She likes to start stuff but can’t handle them. I think Kwan uses pictures with “guys” in particular as bait for the Thai medias. I mean, things like this happens all the time to Kwan so the media should know not to care for them. If this wasn’t the first scandal, I’d sympathize with her but this isn’t the first and won’t be the last. To me, Kwan is very similar to Poo Praiya.
At least she isn’t kissing numerous of random guys on the mouth and throwing her body at men like *coughPoocough* but then again, Kwan does get me irritated at times when it comes to her interviews regarding gossips about her with men.
I don’t know what to say about this but Im shooting both ways. I’d be annoyed like Kwan that they keep asking nonsense but I do agree with the person’s comment too. Pictures can say a million words yet it can be deceiving too. Maybe she was just caught in the moment and it didn’t actually happen like how the picture showed cause I have many of those moments either with myself or my friends but if she didn’t want news, it shouldn’t have been put on the net. Shouldve kept it in her personal safe file. LOL
i think thai media and public pry too much into the lives of their celebrities. I think it is normal that when you are with someone but you aren’t too serious, you don’t necessarily want to tell the whole world that you are together. But, when she feels that she has a serious relationship and wants the public to know than that is up to her.
Seriously, she is in her twenties and is not doing anything wrong. People that have the time to judge her should go and take care of their own lives.
