[Pol, Son and Grand]
Remember Pol Tanthasatien, that Chinese looking Thai guy who is probably part Chinese, who usually portrayed Thai-Chinese millionaires in popular lakorns back in the late 90s. Yea, he’s back. Of course, not as a pra’ek, dude is old and we, lakorn watchers, are vain and shallow. I’m not ashamed to say that. Actually, I’m just joking. He is back though, AS a villain. DUM DUM DUMMMMMMMMMm!
Pol will be taking on the villain role in that lakorn with the longest title ever, ” Yak Yoot Tawan Wai Tee Plai Fah (Yearning to stop the sunset at the horizon or Yearning to stop time, อยากหยุดตะวันไว้ที่ปลายฟ้า)”, a remake of “Mam” Katreeya McIntosh and Tang Saksit’s 1995 lakorn going by the same name. The modernized version will star Son “Yuk” Songpaisan and singer “Grand” Phanwarot Duaysianklao.
Pol said his role is very villainous, he is portraying a man who sees everyone has his contender, a man who loves no one. Interesting.
“I been away from lakorns for 3 years now to work on my business and to study French cooking. At first, I didn’t read the script. The character I’m playing is Mr. Pon Saratoon. In this lakorn, I’m playing the most villainous character I have ever played in my career, my character loves no one, and only has enemies. There will be some action in this,” said Pol about his new lakorn role.
I swear, they have been delaying this lakorn since October. I remember going to Popcornfor2.com and checking up on the commencement date. First it was October, then it changed to November, then December, January, now it’s February. Originally, I remember 20 episode, then it became 16 episodes, now it’s 50 episodes. I have no idea what’s going on. No doubt, it will change again.
An update on the lakorn for those who understand Thai.

Love Son, KKP can’t wait to see him but not so thrill about Grand, was hoping for Vill, because love her with Son in KKp, she would have been better…..
I think the main girl is ugly. She really needs to step it up b/c Mam was awesome in the old one, and Mam is so beautiful. I don’t know if this new girl can pull it off.
Omg, its my loveee Yuk :]
Been waiting to see a new movie with him in it. crazy about him since Gaew Lom Phet.lol cant cait :]
patty- What happen when you are no longer a hot commode? What happen when producers no longer look to you first when they are casting?
wow, glad he’s back, i do miss him too, when he use to be the pra’ek in lakorns in the old days! but to be honest, dont like son, nor his acting! sorry fans.
Anyway i am glad to see Pol on-screen again…gosh, i do missed him!
Why does some celebrity in Thailand have to open a restaurant, why can they be satisfy in working in the entertainment industry only!
i use to think that he was very handsome and to me he still look pretty handsome. anyways unlike all the other basher..i like to see him acting again. he’s talented.

are you serious? happy that he is back, as long as i get to see him on screen again but i don’t think i can stand him as the villian. I missed him so much and now will miss him even more as the pra’ek. anyways looking forward to him on screen.
Gosh, son’s in here .. i don’t wanna watch it then !!! so weird, i just start uploading samee ngern phon of Pol and boom, he’s back on the show but as villain
.. that suck !!!
I swear 50 episodes that gonna be worse-R than Ching Chung, it’s gonna be too dragging.
50 episodes! wow, haha… i’m not watching
I’m still oh so very pissed they decided to cancel Bugha Na Fon and replace the lakorn entirely and then replacing Pueng with Grand! I’ve been waiting to see Pueng!I don’t think Pol is too old at all to return to lakorns; as pra’ek it’s an entirely different story.
Doesn’t Pol too old to returned to television, now!
