Tomorrow, I’ll still love you: EP 1 Caps

Woman, put the gun down! You’re scaring me.

This is Kaew Kanya (Aom), our nang’ek. She starts the first episode off with a monologue.

“Some people are born to follow their dreams. Others are born to find their happiness. As for myself, I was born to suffer and to flee. I don’t know how my life will be tomorrow. I don’t know how long I will run from this. The only thing I Know is that I will run away from this always. Sometimes I wonder, how did this issue start?”

Flashback 6 years ago. We are introduced to Putamat or Putt (Pra’ek’s sister) as she scolds her nanny Noi. Putt is a hot tempered woman, who is not easy to please and she can be quite scary when angered. We learn from an elderly servant lady, for these past few months, Putt has a lost several nannies because of her temper. They never last more than 3 months, the elderly servant lady points out.

Nanny Noi is no different. She can’t take any more of  Putt’s irrational bout of anger. Nanny Noi walks out and Putt pleads with her to stay.  “I only scold you a little, don’t be angry. Who else will stay with me now? Please stay with me first.”

Nanny Noi refuses because Putt is intolerable. Putt begs some more and even physically tried to stop Nanny Noi by grabbing her bag. Still, Nanny is determined to leave and pulled her bag back. “No, I’m leaving. Please let go of my bag.”

Again Putt pleaded with Nanny Noi to stay. “But who else will help me raise  Nu Nim (her daughter), please help me.”

Nanny Noi refused again. Tired of pleading, Putt let go of the bag, causing Nanny Noi to fall down. She yells at Nanny Noi and throws her out.

As Nanny Noi is walking out, Putt’s husband Phipat (James) arrives home.

He sees his wife in distress and hugs her and pretends to be concern. From the look in his face, he is annoyed.  Putt tells him she is tired. She goes in for a deeper hug and is startled to smell woman’s perfume on him. “Why do I smell woman’s perfume on you?” She immediately questioned him.

He tries to shrug it off. “It’s probably the scent of my new perfume.”  He moves back from her and starts making his way into the house.  She’s not stupid. That’s a woman’s fragrance she smelled.

In the house, they start to argue. He tries to calm the tension by lying to her. “I was at a congratulatory party. I probably caught some of their fragrance on me.”

She doesn’t believe him and pulled him back. “Was it really a congratulatory party or was it a bedroom party?”

He denies.

She starts to hit him and demanded to know where he went. He lies to her again. “I told you I came from a congratulatory party. Stop thinking too much.”

Again, he tries to walk away from her.  She throws a picture frame at him. He turns around and swiftly walked towards her. He grabs her arm. “Stop being crazy! That is why no one can tolerate being with you because you are like this!”

He walks away, she is about to follow him but her daughter started to cry. She goes to her child and apologized. “I’m sorry my child, I promise not to raise my voice again. I’m sorry.”

Kaew and her family are going to the beach. Her boyfriend Bor (Pong) is tagging along too but arrives late. Her friend Pueng teases that she should get a new boyfriend because Bor arrived late. Bor playfully tells her to not curse people to break up.

Kaew wonders too why he was late. “Though physically I came late, but my heart has arrived a long time ago.” He tells her. Everyone roared with laughter because he is so corny you want to punch him in the face!

Kaew’s younger brother teases Bor that is going overboard. Bor doesn’t think so and tells him, “I don’t think it’s too much, I just love Kaew evenly everyday.”

As they head out, they split into two groups. Kaew and her sister King will ride with Bor, the rest will take the van to the beach first. Bor and Kaew will follow them up later, they have to drop off King at Putt’s house first. King is Putts new nanny.

When Kaew, King, and Bor arrived at Putt’s house, we learn that Kaew and Putt are very close. Putt is relieved to see King and hugs her. “Thank you so much for coming to help me.” She hugs and tells King.

King is startled by the hug and nervously said yes. This is the first time they have met.

Putt believes King will do a good job because Kaew is a sweet person and she is sure King will be a sweet person also.

Putt :”Kaew is a sweet girl, her older sister must be a sweet person also.  I’m sure we will get along just like how I get along with Kaew.”

Putt  gave King another hug and King thanked her for trusting her.

Phipat is a little perv. Not only is he interested in Kaew, he is interested in her older sister too. Once he is introduced to King, he checks her out. Like dude, you have several girls on the side, a wife, and now you’re checking out your daughter’s new nanny. Dude, have some self control.  I know I should loathe this character, but I don’t. James Ruengsak is just one sexy unfaithful husband.

Enjoys these sweet moments with Bor and Kaew, asoak them up to your hearts content, these moments won’t last long.

Bor and Kaew are walking down a pier. Kaew counts each board as they head down to the end. The 95th board is the spot where they marked their 95th day of dating. Oh gosh people, who freaking does that. They are like Care Bear freaking corny! Soon they’ll be seeing rainbows and hearts. Roll eyes.

Kaew counts to the spot and asked Bor, “Do you know what spot this is?”

Bor pretends to be clueless and toys with her. She becomes annoyed and tells him, “I’ll sulk if you don’t remember.”

In true fashion because he is freaking corny as heck, he gives her a big smile, hugs her from the big.

Bor:”How can I not remember? The last time we came here, we were at this spot–the 95th board. The reason we chose the 95th spot is because we have been seeing each other for exactly 95 days.”—Oh good gosh people, get a room.

She smiles. “And I thought you couldn’t remember. Wasn’t it funny that day, we were so shy around each other we dare not stand close to each other.”

He looks her. “But today, we are not shy anymore.”

She shakes her head ‘no’ and he tries to kiss her on the cheeks. She moves back. He chuckles. “Why can’t I?”

He sits down and pulls her down onto his lap. “Didn’t you say we’re not shy anymore?”

He pets her hair, she smiles at him sweetly. He goes in for another kiss, she playfully rejects him again. She tries to change the subject to the weather. “The weather is nice isn’t it?”

He nods ‘yes’, smiles and agrees. “Yes.”

They start talking about King, Kaew wants to buy her a cake and wants to give her a call. Bor tells her not to fret, she will be fine. But Kaew is still concern. King is in a new place, she doesn’t know anyone there. Bor playfully taunts her, ‘if you are that concern about King, lets just go home.”

In response, she playfully hits him. He tries to reassure her that King will be fine once again. “If she knew you are worrying about her when you’re suppose to be having fun, she would not be happy.”

Kaew still has doubts but Bor wanted her to relax. To distract her, he picks her up. “If you don’t stop worrying, I will throw you into the ocean.”

Kaew is a little scared, she can’t swim. She tells him to stop. He doesn’t and carries her to the end of the pier.

Bor:”Don’t worry Kaew, I will prove to you that when you are with me, I will never let anything happen to you.”

Kaew turns to look at the water and then looked at Bor. He smiles and tells her. “Hold on tight.”

Splash, they jump in.

Ha, the water is not that deep. They hug!

This dude is freaking hilarious. He pretends that their is scratch on his daughter Nim to make King look for it with concern. As she is looking for that scratch, he checks her out. WA!

Look at that devious smile and glare. He has something in mind and it’s not decent. Luckily for King,  Putt interrupts them. She wants to know here he is going, she has called his office, he has no appointments.

Putt lies that one of his clients want to see their contract immediately. Putt doesn’t believe him. “What emergency contract, today is off day.”

Phipat:”Do you really I think I want to work during my day off? I, too, want to take a break but the client does not. Tomorrow, he is going aboard. What do you want me to do?”

Putt tries to add a few words but his phone rang. He gives her the hand meaning she needs to be quiet! Phipat picks up his phone. On the other end, a woman tells him she is waiting at her condo. “Please pick me up at my condo.”

He makes her feel guilty by telling her the client has just called him to hurry up. He leaves.

Alone with King and the baby,  Putt is off in wonderland. She still feel suspicious, King sense her distress and started talking about a new powder she has brought.  Putt doesn’t care about that, she wants an advice about her husband. “Do you think he is lying to me. Khun Mimon, his secretary, told me he has no appointments today.”"

King tries to calm her down. “Don’t think too much. He probably had an appointment.”

Putt doesn’t believe it. “Maybe he is bored of me and that is why he make excuses to leave the house?”

King:”Why would he be bored of you, you’re a very beautiful woman. You shouldn’t think too much of it. The more you think, the more it will make you angry.”

King gives her a big smile. “Do you know, when you smile, you’re beautiful. Please smile for me.”

Putt  smiles and reminisces.

Putt :”When he started to court me, he told me the same thing.”

The ladies changed the subject to the powder foundation.

The gang at the beach.

During dinner, Pueng lures Kaew out to the beach with a lie. “Did you guys fright, I just saw Bor crying on the beach. I tried to talk to him but he refused to tell me anything.”

Kaew is concern and goes to the beach to look for him with Pueng. When Kaew is not noticing, Pueng slips away.

When she realizes she is alone, Kaew panics. Then someone covers her face with a pillow case and scoops her up. She screams for help to no avail.

No surprise here, it’s Bor. What’s up! She is still shaken up and bewildered. “What’s going on?” He points her face to a pathway,he created. “Just follow me.” He directs her.

At the end of their path, there is boat with several Jasmine bushes. It’s symbolic of her name. “Kaew” in Thai means Jasmine or glass. But in this case, it means the jasmine tree. There is also a remote control for a stereo, he turns the music on.

Bor starts to make his proposal. “I have already made a promise to myself, whatever will happen, I will protect and care for this Jasmine blossom for the rest of my life. Remember I give you that clip (I think that is what he said) and do you remember you didn’t believe a person could love one person like in the song.”

Kaew:”Then you told me, you will prove it.”

Bor:”Do you see it now?”

Kaew hesitates and tells him.”ALMOST.”

Bor is like are you serious. “It’s been 3 years, how can it just be ‘almost?”

Kaew tells him to wait a little longer. He doesn’t want to wait anymore.

Bor:”I love you only. I have loved you since the first moment I met you and until this day. You are the only woman I want to wake up to and to tell “I love you” everyday. I want to spend my life with you, do everything for you.”

She is touched and uttered his name.

Bor takes out his father’s ring, the one his father gave to his mother the day he proposed. Bor takes Kaew’s hand and puts the ring on her left ring finger. “Please marry me.” He asked her.

She nods yes. They hug! Dorks! The song in the background goes something like this, “I have one heart, I love only one person.”

Haha Phipat almost getting caught by his wife at the mall. King sees him.

Then his wife sees him too, she chases after him. He does the mistress shuffle (“You go first, I’ll call you, I’ll call you.”) and pretends to be alone. His wife catches him. He lies that he had a meeting with a client here. His wife doesn’t buy it. But what can she do, she has no proof and his lie seems credible. “One of my clients came here to buy a gift for his wife, I came as a friend.”

To divert attention from himself, he goes to check on his daughter Nim. He looks up at King, she makes a disapproving face at him.

Putt  is excited about Bor and Kaew’s upcoming wedding, she wants to plan the whole thing. Bor finds this amusing, so he toys with her that he has not gotten approval from Kaew’s mother yet. She is startled. “Really?”

He gives her a big smile and says, “Not true.” –he was just playing with her.

The cheery mood turns sour when Putt makes Bor promise to never cheat on Kaew.

“Bor, remember this clearly, once you are married to Kaew, you must watch her to the best of your abilities. Don’t ever cheat on her. I will not allow it.”

Bor finds her comment very strange and asked, “what’s this all about.”

Sensing tension, King excuses herself so that the sibling pair can talk. Putt tells her younger brother she suspects Phipat of having an affair. Bor doesn’t want to believe it and advises her to not think too much of it.  Putt can’t help it, he has made her suspicious several times now.

Bor tries to reason with her. “But doesn’t he love you, take good care of you?”

Putt is annoyed that no one believes her. She yells at him.

Bor doesn’t want her to think too much. She doesn’t listen to his advice and vows to cause havoc when she finds out the identity Phipat’s mistress.

King is going home to visit her family. As she is leaving, she is intercepted by Phipat, he wants to explain himself about the mall incident.

“Really, she is my client. The reason I lied to  Putt is because I don’t want her to think too much. I don’t know how to make Putt happy. I don’t want her to be upset.”

He pretends to cry. “I’m concern about Putt, why does it have to be this way.” He shouts.

His play acting works. She believes him and apologizes. “Khun Putt would probably be very happy if she knew you care for her this much.”

He thanked her and she excuses herself to leave. She is about to pick up her bag to leave, accidentally, she trips and he catches her.

Holy macaroni, his wife sees them and misunderstood the scene. She thinks they are hugging. King leaves. Phipat turns to walk back into the house, his wife Putt ducks for cover in the bushes. He whistles happily as she walks back into the house which makes his wife more suspicious.

When King is away visiting her family, Phipat goes out on dates with his other mistresses, when his wife calls, he doesn’t pick up.

What a sad coincidence for King, one of Phipat uses the same brand of powder foundation as she does. When Phipat comes home, Putt sneaks outside and searches her husband’s car. She finds the powder foundation that her husband’s mistress accidentally dropped in the car. Since it is the same powder foundation King uses, she suspects King of being Phipat’s other woman. Putt becomes enraged.

Phipat startled King as she is making formula for Nim. He pretends to feel regretful that he has never made formula for his daughter, not even once. Seeing her do it, he wants to learn too. As she is giving him instructions, he looks at her body.

What’s in the bag? As they are making formula, Putt arrives home.

She is not amuse to catch King and her husband together. She listen in as her husband compliments King on her smile. “Has anyone ever told you, you smile beautifully?” What Putt doesn’t sense is that King is feeling uneasy at this moment.

Phipat intentionally spilled hot water on himself as he is shaking the bottle, King tries to help him out. As she is tending to his hand, he makes an effort to get as close as possible to her. His wife sees this and interrupts them. “What are guys doing?”

Seeing his wife, Phipat moves back. He explains that he is making formula for their child. Putt finds this strange, he has never wanted to do that before.

Because his a man of good excuses, he gives her a very valid excuse. “I have never done it before, that is why I want to do it. I had free time.” He walks toward her and gives her a side hug.

She doesn’t buy it; however, she tries to keep her composure. She apologizes to King for raising her voice. King accepts her apology. “Don’t worry about it. I understand.”

Hanging on King’s last word, Putt says, “Do you really understand me? Good. I’m happy that you understand my feelings. Whatever I do, you will be the only person who will understand my reasoning the best.”

Her stern tone scares King a little. Nervously King replied, “yes I understand.”

Nim cries and King excuses herself.

Alone, Putt says, “Do you really think I’m stupid, King?”

She takes a gun from her purse and the episode ends.
