He really can not stop himself. He’s not going to bring up the past but he keeps bringing it every chance he gets. At his home, he told her this was the house he was going to use as their bridal home and asked if his former fiance (meaning her) would have liked it. You know she was uncomfortable when he asked that. Then the whole jasmine bush thing. When he moved into his house, he redid the landscape. Originally, he had jasmine bushes at one corner, then he decided to remove it. “When it came to other bushes, I allowed others to remove it. With the Jasmine bushes, I removed them with my own hands.”

The ratings for this lakorn is a 4 for those who are curious.

Nu brought Kaew a purse and wanted Pueng to pass it on to Kaew. Pueng didn’t want to do it and made an excuse, “I don’t know when I will see Kaew again.”

Nu knows Pueng and Kaew are neighbors and suggested she give Kaew the purse at home. Pueng is still unconvinced, “why don’t you do it, she will be more happy if she received it from you. “

Nu wants to but the only time he gets to see her is at work and you know Bor is going to be there.

Nu:’I don’t think Khun Boramin likes me very much. I don’t want Kaew to be scolded again.”

At this point, Bor overhears their conversation and walked over. “I don’t have anything against you personally Khun Nuthi, I just want you to know timing. You shouldn’t use work hours while you’re trying to court my secretary.”

Nu apologizes. Since Bor doesn’t have a problem with Nu, Bor suggested he’ll pass on the purse to Kaew. From the look on Nuthi’s eyes, he felt unsure. Bor opened his hand to receive the purse from Pueng, she was reluctant. Nu signal with his eyes at Pueng to not give him the purse. In the end, she handed over the purse to Bor.

Nu felt betrayed. After Bor left, Nu complained to Pueng. “You shouldn’t have given it to him, Kaew will be scolded for sure.”

Yep, she was scolded and belittled by Bor when she received the purse. He dumped the purse right in front her face and felt annoyed that she was touched by the gift. He walked up behind her. “Just getting that cheap purse, you reacted so sweetly.”

Kaew:”Because I’m just another poor girl, not a hi-so girl. To have a man give me a purse as a present, of course I would be happy.”

Bor is annoyed when she started complimenting the purse and Nu. “Nu, he knows how to choose and knows what I like. Look, he even knows what color I like. Look at this, it’s the same color as my shirt,” Kaew said in a taunting manner.

Enraged, Bor takes the purse and examines it. “Where? It’s just another cheap purse.”

Kaew smiles it off. “Well…I guess I’ll just have to use it, or else the person who brought it might feel hurt.”

She starts removing all her things from her old purse and transferring them to the new purse. As she doing so, she tauntingly looked at him. Annoyed, he hits her desk and went into his office.

Alone in his office, he insults the purse again, calling it a cheap purse and proceeded to pace around the room like a lunatic. Seriously, he is insane.

What to do now? Since he can’t be outdone by Nuthi, he calls his servant to bring his little red convertible to the front. He’s gonna show her luxury. He drags her out to go shopping. Everyone saw him grabbing her wrist and stared. I would stare too. He is making such a ruckus over nothing.

Bor is freaking hilarious, as they are riding down the escalator, Bor walked down rapidly. He is annoyed when Kaew is not following him down fast enough.  Kaew stood  here and actually rode the escalator down. Frustrated, he walked up to her and dragged her down. As they waited in front for the car, they argued like an old married couple.

Kaew:”Let me go.”

Bor:”Can’t you remain still, everyone is watching.”

The car arrives, Kaew understood. Years ago, he promised to her work hard and take her on rides in a nice sporty car. Now he is doing so.

He shoves her into the car and reminds her about his promise to her years ago.

He tells her:”To know about this car, I once promised a girl (her) that when I had money, I would buy a sports car and take her out on rides.”

Kaew doesn’t say anything. He surprised her by leaning forward and buckling her seat belt for her.

Bor:”Don’t be afraid. Today you’re riding in my car because you are my secretary. That’s all.”—Sure buddy, keep lying to yourself.

Off they go to Siam Paragon shopping center. They entered a Coach store. He asked her to pick a purse. She doesn’t want to because she thought it might be for his girlfriend Awn.

Kaew:”If you are asking me to chose for Khun Wannawn, I don’t think I can chose it for her. My taste is not as good as hers.”

He smiled, leaned over really close to her,  and whispered in her ear. “I’m buying it for you.”

She was stunned and asked, “What now?”

He yelled at her. “You are deaf?”

He takes Nuthi’s purse from her and started to pour out her personal belongings. He insults Nuthi’s gift. “Stop using cheap, cheap things like these.”

He looked around and yelled: “look around, choose one.”–dude, chill out.

Kaew was defiant. “I can’t accept it.”

Bor:”Why? You can’t accept my gifts but you can accept Nu’s gifts?”

She eyes him in dismay. Bor continues to be an ass and told her to stop being fussy and choose something already. Then she will be able to use something classy and expensive.

Kaew is annoyed. “It’s not about the price of the gift, it’s about the heart of the person giving the gift. If it came from the heart, no matter how cheap the gift is, it’s worth using. If the person does not have heart while giving the gift, no matter how good the gift is, I don’t think I can use it.”

We all know Bor is hurt by the insult but he plays it off and makes an excuse. “Do you actually think I’m buying you these things because I want you to like me? I think you are thinking too highly of yourself. The reason I’m buying it for you is because you are my secretary. When you are with me, going into meetings with me, you will look good. I  don’t want others to say that my secretary doesn’t have taste. “—My gosh, like i have been saying, he really needs to stop. He makes random excuses, Kaew is not stupid. She knows his motivation though she keeps quiet about them.

She doesn’t say anything and remained still. He circles around her and taunts her. “The reason you are not choosing is because you want to stay with me longer.”

Kaew finally chose something randomly. He took the Coach purse from the sales lady and started transferring all her belongings into it. Once he was done, he gives the saleslady Nuthi’s purse. “Throw it away.” He told her.

Kaew pulls Nuthi’s purse back. “I want to keep it.”

Her action annoyed him so he brought up the past to aggravate her. “That purse you can’t throw away, but the person you dated for 3 years, how could you easily toss him away.”

At this point, Kaew wants to leave.  He doesn’t. Since they are there, he wants to buy her other things-a watch, bracelet, random things. He asked her to choose something again. She refuses. “You have given me enough.”

Bor:”I’m not asking for your opinions. It’s an order.”

She remained stubborn and refuses to choose. He chooses for her, a pink scarf. As he is tying the scarf around her neck, they face each other closely for the first time. Ruj’s ballad song starts playing.  It’s a moment! And guess what, Awnmother’s witnessed it and called Awn who is also at the shopping center buying shoes. OH hell na. It’s not time for the cheating boyfriend chase.

I don’t think I need to describe this scene, Awn chases after Kaew and Bor around the shopping center. She sees them together but never catches them. They were so close too. They hid inside a men’s clothing store.

Awn calls Bor and asked where he was. He lies that he is in his office.

When Kaew and Bor returned to the office, everyone stared at them. Because they know something Bor doesn’t know.

Ahhh…Screams. Awn is waiting for him inside his office. She has brought a gift, desserts from a shop in the SIAM PARAGON shopping center. She knows he was there and confronted him. When she called him last, he said he was in his office. Why wasn’t he here when she arrived. He lies that he went somewhere.

I love how when she gave him the desserts, she emphasized “Siam Paragon.”

“I brought it from the SIAM PARAGON.”

Knowing he has done wrong, he said he wasn’t hungry.

She uses his comment to get back at him. “You’re not hungry yet? Or maybe you became full from another place.”—I know, I know, my wording is weird.

Bor stood up and said he had work to do and asked her to leave.

As she is leaving, she notices Kaew’s new Coach bag and her new Coach scarf. She slowly walks over to Kaew, ‘your scarf is very lovely.’

Kaew shyly thanked her for the compliment. Awn leaves and turns around to look back at Kaew. “You will find out soon what will happen when you mess with my things.”

Oooooooo…Awn just declared war on Kaew.

Later that day, Awn tags Kaew around the building and confronted her in the bathroom. Awn throws ice coffee at her scarf.

Kaew is startled.

Awn:”Do you think I don’t know that you have been seducing Bor to make him buy you these things.”

Kaew defended herself. “It’s not like that.”

Yea, Awn didn’t believe it. “It’s not like that what? Do you think I’m stupid? Your secretary salary can not afford you to buy these expensive things.”

Again, Kaew tried to defend herself but Awn didn’t believe her. “The reason he brought me these things because he thinks my fashion sense is not suitable since I’m his secretary.”

Awn laughed. “Do you actually think I’m stupid enough to believe that reason? What? Are you tired of being a secretary and wanted to move up to being a kept woman. Huh?”

Kaew sternly:”Please be more respectful towards me, Khun Wannawn.”

Awn:”You want me to respect you, but why didn’t you think when you were with my boyfriend. A woman like you has no dignity and pride.”

Kaew:”If you fear me that much, you should lease up your man better. Don’t let him come down and mess with a woman with no pride and dignity like me.”

Awn is about to hit Kaew but stopped herself. “IF you didn’t seduce him, he wouldn’t have lowered himself to be with you. I’m giving you a warning. You and I are from different class. Don’t mess with my possessions again. Or else…”

She squeezes Kaew’s arm and then apologized. She takes the plastic coffee cup from the sink, filled it with water, and splashed Kaew with it.

Awn:”I watered it for you, now it will be easier to wash.”

WOW. I feel bad for both Awn and Kaew. It’s all Bor’s fault for the misunderstanding.

After the altercation, Kaew cries alone in the bathroom. She receives a call from Bor. He knows something is wrong but she denies it.  He never pressed her. Instead he gave her work orders for the next day. Tomorrow, he wants her to come to his house. He’s having a work related party at his home, he wants her to help him plan.

I love them. Phiwit is like Kong’s stalker, he is relentless when it comes to Kong.

Though Kong has told him his reason for not wanting to see Phiwit ever again, Phiwit is not giving up.He waits for Kong at the hospital.

Phiwit:”True, you have told me your reason. The incident that happened 6 years ago has nothing to do with me. I was on one side and P’Phipat was on another side. We are not alike. You need to separate the two.”

Kong can’t. “Are you done talking, I’m going home.”

As he is walking away, Phiwit grabs Kong’s hand to stop him. There was a moment. Kong ruined it by asking, ‘why are you holding onto my hand for?” —haha.

Phiwit:”I wanted to tell you that we have no reason to hate each other.”

Phiwit slowly lets go of Kong’s hand. Kong excuses himself and quickly left. I’m surprised no one stared, I would. Two guys holding each other hands for no apparent reason, out of curiosity I would have eavesdropped and watched the drama unfold. I’m so nosy.

Eeee…the next day, off to his house she goes. He watched her walked in from the baloney.

From the second floor, he shouts at her:”Why aren’t you using the purse I brought you.”

She doesn’t answer him, he walks down to her. “Tell me why aren’t you using the purse I brought you.”

Kaew:”it’s too good for me.”

He laughs. “Stop using stupid excuses around me. What? You hate the things I have brought you.”

Kaew doesn’t answer him and changes the subject to work.

He doesn’t want to talk about work, he asked her about his house. ‘What do you think about my house? Is it pretty?”

Kaew follows him outside and answered: “it’s very pretty.”

Bor:”I attended to use it as a bridal house.”

Kaew looked at him hurt, but complimented his choice. “Khun Wannawn must like this place.”

Bor corrected her. “I didn’t buy it for Khun Wannawn, I brought it for a girl (Kaew) I previously asked to marry me. Do you think she would have liked it?”

Kaew knows it her but says she doesn’t know if his previous girlfriend would have liked it.

Bor changed the subject to landscaping. Originally in one corner, he had planted several Jasmine bushes, but removed them.

Bor:”Regarding other bushes I allowed others to remove them. But as for the Jasmine  bush I removed them myself with my own hands.”

Kaew is about to tear up  because he is referring to her, her name does mean a Jasmine plant. She changes the subject back to work.

He wasn’t having it and continued to talk about the Jasmine bushes he removed.

Bor:”The day I removed the Jasmine bushes, I remembered it had a lot of blooms. Whites everywhere. Just like the blooms at the beach (when he proposed to her) that were blown away by the hurricane…destroyed to the point of no recognition.”

Kaew turned away from him.  “That day, it made me realize, the person to whom we love the most, the person we thought will be there until our death, the truth is…that person might be the first person who leaves us. When a problem arises, that person might be the first person who leaves us.”He continued to say.

Kaew can’t take anymore and yells at him. “That is enough Bor, why are you bringing that up for?”

He grabs her and shakes her. “Are you hurt? You actually know how to feel hurt?”

Kaew:”Let me go, why are you bringing up those memories again? I don’t want to hear them.”

Bor:”But you have to listen to them and remember it too. The relationship between you and me is that you are my secretary and you need to know how important this house is to me. This spot, this house has taught me to wise up.”

He lets go of her and walks back into his house. She cries as she is picking up the fallen notebooks from when he grabbed and shook her.

OH no, Phiwit came to visit Kong’s house. To Kong’s surprise, he is getting along with his mother. He has made her laugh too. Everyone is in a good mood.

The happy mood is interrupted when Fong-Jan sees that Kong has brought more Chinese herbal medicine. She yells at him. It’s expensive and she is not working. She doesn’t want to be a burden to anyone.

To cheer her up, Phiwit promises to come visit her everyday. Phiwit is smart, to get the with the son, he needs to get close with his mother.

Kong’s mother finds their relationship amusing. Before, Kong accused Phiwit of being a thief and they fought, now they are close friends.

Everyone laughs, Phiwit looks up at Kong. “Kong is person worth seeing.” —ahhh…they are too cute. I love this gay couple.

Kong’s mother invited Phiwit to stay for dinner, Kong can’t take it anymore and dragged him away. “Mom, he can’t stay for dinner, he has forgotten he has an urgent appointment to go to.”

Notice the big gay guy in pink, he knows something is up between the two of them.
