Actor “Nott” Vorarit FuengArom (32) from such lakorns as “Jai Rao (Cracked Heart)”, Mongkut Saeng Jan (Moonlight Crown)”, and the currently airing lakorn “Su Yipta (Fight to the end)” was ordained earlier this morning (December 22) at the Wat Saket along with his best bud “Kong” Akarat Nitibhon (32). Nott was given the clerical nickname of “Waritho”, meaning a person who has fulfillment and Kong was given the clerical nickname of “Oakhrotno” meaning a person who has the image of Phra Ratana in his place. I have no idea what that means. But okay.
Both Nott and Kong will be ordained for 1 month. For the first 3 days, they will say at the Saket temple then they will travel to the Wat Khao Sanam Chai in Prachuan Khiri Khan province to continue on with their religious journey. Noot chose his older sister “Nan” Chalita FuengArom to carry his pillow for the precession to the main temple hall and Kong chose his girlfriend “Joy”.
Several top Ch3 stars, who have worked with Nott attended his ordination, they include: “Joy” Rilanee Sripen (his co-star from “Moonlight Crown”), Ken Theeradeth (his friend and co-stars in many lakorns), Ken’s wife Noi Bussakorn, “Cherry” Khemupsorn Sirisukha, Puri Hiranpruk, Tye Nattapol, “Benz” Pornchita Na Songkhla, and “Chai” Chatayodom Hiranyatsathiti are some of recognizable faces.
I found it funny how the top two comments left at Manager news website for this news did not mention Nott at all but rather other people. One reader praised Cherry for not wearing her sunglasses while taking pictures with Nott and Kong the monks. Apparently it’s not respectful to wear sunglasses around monks. I’m a buddhist too, I did not know that nor will I follow it. Another reader didn’t care about Nott, they focus more on Ken and Noi’s cuteness. “Ken held Noi’s hand in every picture. It’s so CUTE,” the person wrote. OH good gosh.
We got Ken and Noi, lakorn producer and director Kai, and Chai with a big grin.
