Am I the only one looking forward to this lakorn? I don’t see a lot of buzz at Sarnworld forum, the thread for this lakorn is barely moving, it’s only on page 3 the last time I checked.
Noon Woranuch and ‘Aum’ Patcharapa Chaichue’s comedy slash revenge lakorn “Kulap Neua Mek (Roses Above the Clouds or Temptations of the roses)” is premiering this coming Monday, December 21, 2009 and I’m hyped. In the lakorn, Noon and Aum play two former bosom buddies who turn into foes. Noon plays Oranut, a wealthy young woman who betrayed her friend Airin (Aum) by kicking her out of the magazine company (“Working Women”) they started together and Alin’s fiance for her younger sister. Airin was so devastated after the betrayal, she vowed to bring down Oranut’s magazine company and to steal Oranut’s man if she was dating someone. Airin starts up the “Chic Women” magazine to compete with Oranut’s “Working Women” magazine and pursues Anawin (‘Stefan’ Tasit Sinkanawiwat), the guy that Oranut knew since college.
I’m looking forward to this lakorn because it’s not typical—no weak nang’eks, every character is tough and rai (bad) said Aum. Noon said it about life’s competition, what people do to survive in the community.

In the lakorn, Stefan is also known has Khun Coffee (Mr.Coffee) because the first time Airin first meet him without knowing who he was, she bumped into him at a coffee shop and spilled coffee on him.

I thought they’re both nang e’k. It’s like the both are bitchy and both are equally important. It’s just happen that Aump got Stephan at the end. It’s like a real life story. Both sides are evil, but at the end one get the man and one gave up and go on to find another one. It’s like both are nang ek in real life coz in real life everybody is Nang ek…at least that what you guys think, right?
I have not paid attention to this lakorn until now but now I am hyped on it because of the summary you give lol. I really like bad n’ek and with Aum and Noon in the cast we will have a good show ! Wonder who will get Stephan in the end…maybe none lol.

OMG…I’m going to watch this lakorn. Aum adn Noon are both hot. Truly Hot. Besides, Did Doung Dao (the old lady who usually plays the old ra’i role) do something to her eyes? She looks ten years younger than the last time I saw her. I think I saw her in “Nang Tard” where she plays the grandmother role of Nang La’or and KOb.
What is up with Aum’s lips? Is it her style to wear her lips really pale with a reddish pink streak on the inside? She’s always had those lips. It really bugs me for some reason. No other actress color their lips like that. It looks strange or maybe her lips are really naturally pink and even wearing a really pale color doesn’t make her look pale. I don’t know, I just found it rather annoying. On a lighter note, I’m excited for the lakorn. I’m more of a Noon fan.
