The year of the Ox (2009, if you don’t know your animal years, cause I didn’t. I had to google it) was a big year for 31 year old “Aum” Patcharapa Chaichuea–scandals, break ups, two successful lakorns (Head Wife and Jaew, the wicked one and Godly Chai), a commercial with Korean Boyband Super Junior, she released a sexy photo book for IN magazine photographed by Tada Varich, and she launched her fragrance “Sexy Me” back in August, the only Thai fragrance to be made in France. She was on magazine covers, took part in many events, and according to the media, she might be the highest grossing actress for the year, making more than 40 million baht (1.2 million USD).
When asked about her earnings, she played coy and talked about accepting unusual work events for the year. “Let just say I accepted a lot of unusual work. Normally, I do accept events (she means events, like fashion shows, special appearances for companies, and advertising events). Just this year, I accepted a lot of unusual ones.”
When reporters pointed out that she worked a lot and probably made more than 40 million baht for the year. Aum replied, “I don’t think I made that much.”
Without confirming or denying her large earning for the year, Aum hinted that it might be true by saying for this period, she has been receiving a lot of work. Working a lot means making more money, that is my assumption.
Umm… we have to admit it… she has what it takes!! And to look so good at over 30 years old… That’s a feat on its own.
However, she doesn’t have good modeling skills… I agree with all of you… the same CFM look, no change whatsoever. Saw her at Siam Square last week…. she has the proud “ying” look, another case of STSIP ( She-Thinks-She-Is-Pretty ) syndrome…. Like there are many HTHIH ( He-Thinks-He-Is-Handsome) syndromes in Bkk!!!
Eew….unusual jobs??? What kind of unusual….under-the-table unusual?? Weird. Aum is pretty, but her posture and her trying-hard-to-be-sexy facial expression is getting on my nerves. Her body isn’t even that sexy…she’s so skinny!!! Someone needs to shove a Big Mac down her throat….lots and lots of Big Mac’s.
I used to like Aum. I thought she was just gorgeous….but then as time went by…it started to fade away…maybe because of her villain role in Kom Paya Baht. I did not like her one bit in there…I mean she’s a great actress for being able to portray evil and good.

well, i’m sure many people did experience this. you arent a kid/teenager anymore and there are many things that you want and need and you have to get them all by yourself so you have to do what you have to do… for example, a lot of college students go to school full time and also work full time or having two part time jobs too. do they really wanna do that? no, but they gotta do what they gotta do. so in another word she might not want to do all of them but she gotta do what she gotta do…
I love Aum, she is sexy and it’s not wrong that she shows that sexy side of her. I like that she keeps an open mind about the jobs she takes, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do to make a livin.
I’m not surprise she makes that much. But she does accept a lot of unusual work, and makes me kinda wonder “Are you that desperate for work?” Besides acting, all her other work on the side is just to show off her body. Is it just me, or does Aum have the same face/look in all her pictures/poses??
