2 new lakorns from DIDA productions
First we have Pancake Khemmanid and Vee Veeraparb’s lakorn, “Tawan Yor Saeng (Evening Glow or Sunset Glory or just Tawan Yor Saeng)” that will be airing sometime this month. In the series, Pancake will be playing 3 characters–Duang Pon ( nang’ek’s mother), Tawan /Yor Saeng (nang’ek). Don’t get confuse, Yor Saeng and Tawan are the same person.
‘Tawan Yor Saeng’ is a birth identity lakorn, where the lead character grows up not knowing he or she is a wealthy man’s love child. Pancake will start out the series as Duang Pon, a beautiful woman who falls for a rich man, she becomes pregnant with his child and dies while giving birth to their daughter Tawan.
Tawan grows up not knowing about her biological mother and her rich father and she is raised by a woman to who she believes is her biological mother and an abusive stepmother who wants her sexually. When her mother kills her stepfather in self-defense, she is instructed to go into hiding by her adopted mother. Out in the world, her true identity begins to unfold itself and she finds her biological father. Because she looks exactly like her mother, her father knows who she is. Isn’t that convenient?
When she starts her new life with her father (or not, I think he dies), her name changes to Yor Saeng and she meets Vee Veeraparb’s character who becomes her uncle, not biological, by marriage. Vee is Ah’Lek or uncle Lek, his older sister is married to Yor Saeng’s father. Lek is a good guy who begins his relationship with Yor Saeng as a doting uncle, but later develops feelings for her and she to him. Isn’t that a complicated twist of family relations. The uncle by marriage falling in love with his niece to whom he has to care for.
According to Popcornfor2 forums, “Tawan Yor Saeng (Evening Glow or Sunset Glory or just Tawan Yor Saeng)” will replace “Kulap Neua Mek (Roses above the cloud)” on Feb. 9, 2010 for the Monday-Tuesday primetime slot. It will be total of 16 episodes and a film as you go lakorn.

The second lakorn is “Ruk Nai Marn Mek ( A Cloud of Romance)” staring Tle Tanapol and newcomer Min Phitchaya, boran actress from “Pla Boo Thong (Golden Fish)”. I know little about this lakorn other than the fact that the nang’ek will be wheelchair bound.
The main cast of “Tawan Yor Saeng” which includes Pancake, Vee, Sammie (nang’rai), and some newcomer I don’t know his name.
Yes, this is lakorn where Pancake will be dressing like a boy.
Newcomer ‘Gusber’ Chuanpor Phuprasert will be playing Tawan’s best friend and partner in crime in the lakorn “Tawan Yor Saeng”. He’s paired with ‘Tubtim’ Anya Rinot.

TengNeung-Min-Tle for “A Cloud of Romance”
Damn Tengneung, what a busy blazer! And the sunglasses, oh good lordy.
GROUP pictures:
Praying to the lakorn gods for high TV ratings—high ratings, high ratings, they are probably chatting. Or not.
A cloud of romance cast.
The blessing ceremony or opening ceremony happened last week on Sunday, January 24.

Gus is adorable and Tubtim too.

Pancake and Vee lakorn sound good. But I not a Pancake fan at all. Just kill me that I might not even watch b/c of her. Sorry, to those who like her.

I’m not a Pan fan at all either. I just don’t take interest in her and her dramas. I’m not liking Pan’s hair, outfit/wardrobe up there at all. The storyline does sound twisted. Eww, an uncle falling in love with his niece. weird. But moving on, I don’t like Tle. All the other guys in Ruk Nai Marn Mek look better than Tle. I don’t like a lot of people from ch7, so it takes a lot for me to watch their dramas. Only a few are good. So I guess I’m not looking forward to neither dramas above.

Tawan Yor Saeng, the title sounds so familiar…is this a remake?

Think of Saranyu and Sonia Cooling’s lakorn, it is a remake. There has been a lot of remakes lately. I feel overwhelmed with them.

Can someone please enlighten me on this. Why are praying ceremonies held towards the end of filming. I thought normally these ceremonies are held before filming not after filming.

^.^ I’m excited for this I love Pancake LOL despite what people say about her. The date may be off because I heard that they added episodes to Kularb Neua Mek. If the ratings for Kularb Neua Mek ratings go up the lakorn could very well go up to 17-19 episodes -.-” thanks Lyn!

Not interested. I am just not so into the family love relationship although he is only an uncle by marriage. Plus it is Vee, so definitely a no for me. I like Pancake, her lakorn is watchable if the plot is good.

Pancake seems to have so many people who doesn’t like her… but I guess the majority does as she’s doing so many advertisements! The latest being Mistine.. And must admit she looks good in the Mistine poster with the pink beret and lips! As I’m from a marketing research firm, I know that she sells things when they use her for ads… In fact Mistine’s sales increased tremendously when her print ads were out!
At least I know I HATE Nam Rapipat (spelling correct?) He has such an irritating voice that sounds like a duck! Ughs! Yee….I will never watch any lakorn or movie or program with him…

Pancake’s ok, lol…i’m just neutral when it comes to her..there are times when i like her, there are times when i don’t..
..I’m curious with her lakorn this time because she’ll dress up as a boy, usually in lakorns she dresses elegantly or sexily so this is interesting for me ;D
So Vee will have 2 lakorns showing?? isn’t he still in Liam Ruk with Kwan? or is that ending already?? last time i read they added more episodes of Liam Ruk..

omg…i love the drama called Ruk Nai Marn Mek……what is the storyline about…i mean they are like three hot guys with her…omg does this mean that she is not doing anymore boran…so she is going into lakorn…now nice

I’m also not a fan of flatface- I mean, Pancake. She’s overrated (like someone had stated) and her acting sucks. I disliked her, tried to like her when watching “Khun Noo Tevada”- then hated her again. I don’t like her bf Weir either: He’s flatout, plain ordinary.
Ruk Nai Marn Mek? Tle is hot! So are Teng Neung, Tle Tawan, and the other dude
Min (the female lead) looks beautiful
I’m happy she’s the lead and not anyone I wouldn’t desire. Lol..
Does anyone know WHEN Tle and Min’s lakorn will air? I’m anticipating! ^^ Truthfully, excited! As for Vee and Pancake’s lakorn? That crap can just freeze for time. I can care less. OH!- and the only reason WHY I like Vee is, because, he’s a fan of SNSD
(Sooyoung to be specific)
