Call me frugal because I am. To me, the thought of ever wanting to buy a $6,000 cellphone is mind boggling. Then again, I don’t make a million dollar a year. I’m sure if I made that much, I wouldn’t be frugal at all. I would SPEND, SPEND, SPEND, but not a $6,000 cellphone. Whatever, to each their own.
At the IN magazine awards yesterday, Aum clarified that her main squeeze Note Wiset did not buy her a 200,000 baht ($6030 USD) cellphone, she brought herself. So she does have a $6000 cellphone. I can believe that. She does make a lot of money per year.
“I brought it with my own money. It is a cellphone that I wanted for a long time and I have been saving up for it. I wanted it so badly, I even dreamt about it. I have been saving to buy it for a long time now. Everything that is mine, I have saved up money for it and can buy it on my own. (Are you very attached to this phone?”) I cherish it very much. I refuse to pick up calls and I don’t make frequent calls,” she told reporters.
Okay. I’ll keep my opinions to myself. We’ll just leave it at that.
I know Prada makes cellphone that cost that much. I wonder what brand it is. It’s a fashion brand cellphone probably covered in crystals and diamonds, an object that can probably blind you from a mile away.
Her phone is a Vertu Ascent, it’s kinda ugly.
Her phone doesn’t look that stylish. If I was her, I would rather buy the Japanese brand Docomo. At least their phones look high tech and nice at the same time.

OMGOSH $6000 dollar for a damn phone?!?! The most i spend is $500 dollar, she Crazy even if i did make that much money i would’nt spend that much on a phone, i would invest it into something that i would want forever like a HOUSE!!! Nokia makes cellphones in gold… they are quite ugly and cost about 60000$ (no, I didn’t mistype.. lol). But I love their 8800, they cost about 1200$. I’ve almost bought one, but my brother (who owns one) said that it was very slow and they are very basic phone…not very useful xD
And about handbags… those handbags that Aum and Noon are using in Kularb neua mek are from Hermes.. they cost more than 8000 euro (about 10000$ I guess…) -_-
Wow, really! That’s a lot of money! My new cellphone cost $200 and I thought that was a lot! Oh Well If I did make that much money a year like her I would maybe buy one too. But it’s true that when you want something you’ll save for it and purchase it after having enough money.
Well like you said, she does make millions annually so that phone is nothing for her. It’s like a multi millionaire buying a Ferrari, they can afford it without starving. I mean you have people barely making above minimum wages carrying a Louis Vuitton purses that cost over $1000 here and that is living above their means. It’s those people who should be deemed stupid. Plus she bought it herself, she didn’t beg her boyfriend, or her parents for it. Although a 200,000 baht phone is really ridiculous. I never get people who spend more then $150 on a cellphone but then again I’m not a cellphone type girl.
I think you meant to say “frugal”…it’s good to know that she bought the phone herself, instead of having some man buy it for her. So good for her!
You know with those $6,000 you could probably feed a whole country.
Even if I was to be rich, I would have spent it on something else. She has her right to spend her money however she wants.

wow, i’m impressed.. that expensive for a CP.But she can afford to buy it so good for her. There are some celebs who buy more than $6,000 for a bag, and some are obsessed with Jimmy Choo shoes worth $1,000 or more.
I don’t really care about them buying it, it’s their money and they worked hard for it.
If it’s me of course i won’t buy it. CP gets outdated easily and new ones with new features arrive, but that’s just me
$6,000 is consider cheap considering these class of cell phone. I think she brought the Vertu cellphone, caz my uncle just purchased a $10,000 vertu cell phone in Singapore a few months ago. there are some that even cost more than $10,000. so we shouldn’t all be that alarm over a 6,000 phone.
I bet it’s a brand not very big in the tech. industry, that’s why it’s so expensive.
The other only one I know is Dolce&Gabbana, but the phone doesn’t even look great. I hope that’s not what she has been dreaming about.
to be honest with you…I did not even know that you could get a phone for 6030 dollars…like seriously..who would buy a phone that expensive and not even use it that much??
I guess its being used as an accessory but I would definately use it for a different item!! WHY a phone of all things??!! Oh well it is her money so she can do what she pleases with it..^^
